Remove Displayed Field in View

Hi,
i used Project Web Access (PWA), yesterday i changed a list of field in a View (My Timesheet), using "Manage Views". Now i would like to remove some field, but when i select certain field, the Remove button remains disabled. How i can remove that
fields? To solve the problem: Can i create a new view with same fields, and then rename the view with the name of "old view"?

It might be indeed that a user created a timesheet using this field so it can't be removed from the view. You can't hide the field from the view but you could simply create a new view and dissociate the old view from all categories so no users could see
it anymore.

consulte your MM guy material master screen group and selection is done by MM guys in general. There they can do setting for this.
Also why you need MRP group. If it is maintained. It should be done properly otherwise it will create lot of problems.

1080i footage played in Viewer only displays field 1

I'm using an iMac without an external monitor. I have 1080i footage. I can jog forward a field at a time and see both fields individually in the viewer. But when played real time, my iMac only displays field 1. Same thing if I play it back full screen.
I know I wouldn't have this problem if I had an external monitor. But is there a setting somewhere so the iMac will display both fields during playback?
It's a 2011 iMac. 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5.

Thanks Tom. Yes, with that setting both fields are displayed, but only when the sequence is paused. You'll see both fields when paused, but only see field 1 when playing.
You can forward a field at a time with Option and left or right arrow. In Time Display, turn on "show subframes" in the Time Code display. Field 1 is 00 subframes. Field 2 is 40 subframes.
Strangely, the Event Browser Display works differently. In that window I can see both fields when it plays. And the "display both fields" in the Event Browser Display must have a bug. It doesn't work for me, it always displays both fields.
But in the main Viewer I only see field 1 while playing.

How to remove fields from view V_QCMBSEG for table BSEG

By mistake have appended 5 fields in standard table BSEG, after that i have deleted that appended structure from table, while deleting from different views network got disconnected i lost connection from server.
So process get terminated and those fields left in view V_QCMBSEG.
Because of this table partially activated.... is there any way to delete it

Field of view: in the programme bigger than on the camera display

The following problem occured:
When I captured footage into Adobe Premiere Elements I recognized that the field of view in the programme was bigger than the one I saw on the display of my camera. I mean, there were objects in the left and in the right corner of the frame, which I did not intend to shoot (and which I did not see in the viewer, as well).
Are there any settings I should consider?
Any answers appreciated.

This is fairly common. Few cameras have 100% view. Some show a bit more, but most a bit less.
Now, depending on how you are going to output the footage, it might be no problem. If you're going to TV, via DVD, then the overscan of CRT TV's will possibly crop this extra area off. If you are not sure, or your audience will have newer LED/LCD/etc. TV's, you can do one of several things.
1.) Keep things just as they are, and use the Garbage Matte to eliminate the offending objects. You'll end up with a bit of black, around your final image, unless you have some sort of background behind it.
2.) Keep things just as they are, and use Crop to do about the same. Same result as above.
3.) Use Motion Effect>Scale (and possibly a bit of Position), to enlarge the image to beyond the screen area, approximating what you saw in the viewfinder/LCD. Since you will only be doing a tiny bit of this, quality will not suffer.
Personally, I'd use #3. Trust me, this is far easier in video, than it ever was with film. Without a good budget, it meant a re-shoot, should a mic swing into the frame, or a lightstand peek in at the corner!

Displaying fields from a Z Table on CRM UI

Hello Experts
I am trying to display fields from a custom table onto a CRM UI form view.
1. I created a custom GENIL root object & Search object ie. ZCUSTOMER. & ZCUSTSEARCH
2. Tested this in the GENIL BROWSER to ensure that I could enter update values to the table and retrieve it via the search object.
3. Created a custom component ZCUSTOMER
4. Created a view with this component ZCUSTOMER using the wizard -
     Model Name - CUSTINFO
     BOL Entity - ZCUSTOMER
     No links to the custom controller or higher level objects.(as I do not want to tie this to any standard components)
Type of view - Form view
7. Created a Context node for the component controller with the same info as I did for the view.
8. Performed the binding of the view context node with the component controller context node.
9. Configured 1 field CUST_NAME to be displayed on the view.
10. Configured the run time repository to display the view.
Now the issue is..
When the view gets displayed, the field is displayed with the error "CUST_NAME not bound"
What am i missing?

Thanks for the feedback. I re-viewed the WD_CREATE_CONTEXT method of the view controller implementation class and I see the following code in there already-
method WD_CREATE_CONTEXT.
create the context

Does that look right or do I need to modify it?

The app Week Cal HD was the perfect calendar until Apple removed it so could they please offer the same facilities that it offered.

How to get a List of fields in view

Hello,
There are views with a lot of fields from various context nodes in the view.
Is there any way to get a good list of the fields that are used in the view?
When I use show technical details of the fields in the the configuration tab I can get details of one field only
and I can't see the whole name of the field.
What I am searching is a list of all fields in a view. like in ecc6.

Use get_form_fields to get the list of fields in a view.
DATA:   lt_event_items       TYPE tihttpnvp,
             ls_event_items       TYPE ihttpnvp.
CALL METHOD request->get_form_fields
    CHANGING
      fields = lt_event_items.
(code)
table lt_event_items will have list of fileds displayed in the view. The field names will be prefixed with component_id. For example,
c18_w56_v57_v58_condrecord_struct.org node => c18_w56_v57_v58 - component_id, condrecord - context node, struct.org_node - field name

Remove text field from Array via for loop

Hi,
i have a problem to remove text fields added via for loop.
That im doing is, via for loop im dynamically creating menu with 10 buttons.
Each button contain, dynamically created, background (shape) and text field.
And everything is fine.
But when im try to remove text fields then i got this error:
- Im using button to remove text fields - lang_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, clickHandler);

How do I increase the field of view in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) Version 3.1.1.3003

I am using Measurement and Automation Explorer Version 3.1.1.3003 to view pictures on a pc that are being sent from a video camera looking through a microscope. The image I see in the viewfinder of the microscope is MUCH smaller than the image that is displayed on the pc screen. Looking through the viewfinder of the microscope, I can see ~20 mm across the object, but the display from the camera in NI-MAX shows ~4.5 mm across the object. How can I change how much of an object is displayed on the screen in NI-MAX?
The camera is attached to the microscope with a camera adapter on the top of the microscope. The lenses the camera "looks" through and the lenses used when one looks through the viewfinder are the same, so theoretically, there should be no difference in what is displayed on the pc and what is seen through the viewfinder. We have ruled out the microscope and camera as the cause of the problem, which narrows it down to the NI-MAX software itself.
I saw in the forums that you can zoom out on an image; however, this does not change the distance across an image that is seen, just makes the picture of the same ~4.5 mm across the object smaller in size.
Any ideas or suggestions?

I have attached a picture of the object's image being displayed on the pc monitor. Where the field of view (FOV) in the microscope is almost 30 mm, the FOV displayed onscreen is about 7 mm. After contacting companies various times I discovered there was a reducing lens that goes in the C-mount adaptor, but it is over $300.
I thought maybe that the FOV could be changed in in NI Measurement and Automation Exploer (NI-MAX). Any ideas?

Wrong description of columns is displayed in PDF view

Hi Gurus,
Please help me on the below issue.
Issue: I open accoutn plan and clicked on "Print Account Plan" (which will export account plan data into PDF file for printting), from one assignment block the description of column is getting displayed wronglly in print view(ex Last year Amount in Planing block in Account plan, but just "Amount" is displayed in Print View). Please help me on this issue, what could be the issue and what things hould be checked.

If the field description is not coming as expected in displayed fields, we can edit the description from the Field properties option of that field from the configuration tab.
If this field's description changes need to be applicable in all the components wherever used, we can change the description from the Design layer so that the changes will be replicated wherever the field is used.

Per my knowledge,
it is by design that the data type multiple lines of text can only use “contains” and “begins with” operators.
You can also filter the list view using SharePoint Designer,
Open your list AllItem.aspx page in SPD ->click “Filter” > in “Field Name” select your multipe line of text field, in “Comparison” will displayed four choices.

Remove unnecessary field in Web UI - not applied

Hello, dear Experts!
I'm trying to remove unnecessary fields from contact view page in Web UI.
I performed the following steps:
1. created new config role key ZTMP
2. created new business role and binded it with my config role key
3. bound business role in organizational structure
4. copied <default> configuration in BSP Workbench for my new ZTMP role key (BP_CONT/ContactDetails view)
5. removed unnecessary fields in my copied configuration and saved all
But after this steps no changes affected in Web UI - fields not removed, it's looks like default config. Same result for BP_HEAD/AccountDetails.
Technical data for contact page (when i press F2 in contact page):
Role Key (Searched For) - ZTMP
Role Key (Found) - ZTMP
Comp.Usage (Searched For) - Overview
Component Usage (Found) - <DEFAULT>
Object Type (Searched For) - <DEFAULT>

Maybe some "checkbox" blocks my config?

Procedure to change config is
1) Create role config key.
2) Assign it to your bussiness role.
3) Open found config.
4) Copy config and give your role config key. Do requried changes. Save it.
5) Write required code in do_config_determination if your config is not called.
Procedure that you are telling is correct and configuration found is ztmp, def, def. What is subobj type found? if it is default, again see configuration and compare with fields that you are getting on screen. May be you forgot to save because you have covered all the steps.

[JHS 10.1.3.0.59] Error when generating Group with Display fields

Do you already know this error in JAG when generating groups that contain items with display type 'display field'? Or am I doing anything wrong?
[LovOrganizationTable.jspx, default/item/table/tableDisplayField.vm] Velocity log [error] ResourceManager : unable to find resource 'default/item/table/tableDisplayField.vm' in any resource loader.

Thanks for reporting, we should remove displayField from the list of dislay types. If you want a read-only field in 10.1.3, you can choose the proper display type, and then set "Insert Allowed" and "Update Allowed" properties to false.

Transaction FBL3N - display field XREF1, XREF3

I have a problem with the transaction FBL3N. I can not see the value of field XREF1 and XREF3 in some variants. I can not add the field XREF3 into the table T021S.
Any suggestions ?

Hello Marcela,
Because these fields is a field of table BSID/BSIK but not of BSIS, it
is offered you in the field catalogue under 'change layout'.
But to be able to use the field in FBL3N, you should define it as a
special field.
These fields need to be setup as Special Fields in T021S. You can do
this by the following path in IMG:
Financial Accounting->General Ledger Accounting->G/L Accounts->
Line Items->Display Line Items with ALV->Define Special Fields for
Finding and Sorting Data. (transaction OBVU).
Regarding the Special Fields, please see attached Note 215798. This
note will explain that the special fields need to be in table T021S
as well as in the RFPOSXEXT structure which can be verified via
se11. If these fields are not yet in RFPOSXEXT see Note 215798
(you can verify this in RFPOSXEXT by going to the bottom of the
structure and see under column 'Component' that special fields are
denoted by 'U_XREF1'). You may see a field XREF1
under the 'Component' column, but these fields are NOT the special
field. The special field is denoted by U_fieldname.
Also, to ensure you are using the Special Field in the display variant
-FBL*N when you select->Current display variant right mouse click on
the pop-up box and choose 'Show technical names'. The special fields
will be displayed as follows: 'U_XREF1'.
This will ensure that it is truly the special field you are using.
You will notice that there will be a field 'XREF1'. These
are NOT the special fields. You MUST use 'U_XREF1' in
the display variant to view the data.
You need to do the same for XREF2 ,...
