I've been deleting information I don't want in the "Sort..." fields (like getting rid of "Deluxe Edition" markers, etc.), but when I plug my iPod into my computer iTunes repopulates the fields I deleted. This only happens for a few artists, and it's the same artists every time this happens. How do I stop it from doing that? It makes it measurably harder for me to control the organization of my library.

Ff_5 Formatting error in the field COBL-KOSTL

When automatically posting bankstatements we have several searchstrings in place.
Most of them post against a bookingrule, but in this case I have a posting on a costcenter as well.
I created two equal searchstrings, one for the bookingrule and one for the costcenter.
When executing FF_5 SAP only books in area 1 and not in area 2. The error message states:
00: 298 Formatting error in the field COBL-KOSTL.
The costcenter is an active one, it is also in OKB9 linked to the cost account number.
Profitcenter is default.
What does this message mean, and how can I find out what I did wrong? I am absolutely sure I have made no typo when entering the costcenter in the mapping area of the searchstring.

How are you mapping these two in search string , could you tell me ..?..
Seems to be that cost center is mandatory field but the field is suppressed in GL.

1)country of origin where the finished good is created.
2) customer sales order number
3)customer sales order line number
i am writing a report for delivery order.in this report i have to refer customer PO & customer SO .
i mean, my company has a customer ( seagate) & seagate has a customer (let maxtor).initially maxtor will give a PO to seagate then seagate will raise a SO againest maxtor.
Then seagate will send PO number(of maxtor), PO line number,SO number(seagate), SO line number(seagate) to our company.
Then i have to write a report for sales order & delivery order.in these reports i have to refer seagate PO number & seagate SO number for reference.
i got PO number as vbkd-bstkd but not getting any field for reference Sales order.plz advice me on this. it is very very urgent.

FF_5 - Import Bank Statement, Err: Formatting error in the field COBL-KOSTL

When importing the bank statement I'm getting the error
Error: (00 298) Formatting error in the field COBL-KOSTL ; see next message
Why is it doing this? In OKB9 I have the GL Account and the cost center assigned. It is the ne GL that is giving this problem, in the classic GL I do not have this problem.

No, it is not that. For some reason in the new GL it does not seem to determine the cost centers and profit centers as usual.
For exampl to allocate the Profit Center for Balance Sheet Account I used to use 3KEH in the classic gl but in the New gl we must use FAGL3KEH.
Now with cost center i'm having the same problem, does not determine the cost center when importing the bank statement.
Can someone help me.

Currently the Item Style is Raw Text, but the text is being displayed along with HTML tags without formatting.

Formatting error in the field COBL-GSBER - FF_5 Upload

Hi Experts,
When I upload the bank statement in FF_5, I am getting the following error.
"Error: (00 298) Formatting error in the field COBL-GSBER ; see next message"
If I make the field "Businees Area" Optional in Field Status Group of the "Bank Main Accout", then I am not getting the above error and the posting also happens to the "Bank Main Account".
But if I make "Business Area" Required Entry Field then I get the above error.
Is there any other method to rectify this problem, i.e can this be resolved even after keeping Business Area as a required field.

I hope making Business area optional field is not a wise decision...user may go without inputting the business area in the field which later on will create problem for clearing...
If required go for activating user exit FEB00001... which will give you the business area...
try the same with your ABAPer....

I need to execute a formatted search when the field loses focus

Is this even possible? I do NOT want to force the users to press shift-f2 every time to validate/search on every field on the form. This is absurd. How can I trigger a formatted search on a field when it loses focus?
I tried activating menu item #7425, but it's not executing the one on the field that loses focus, but a different one. I guess it only works on the active field??
I tried catching an earlier event, but after it executes the formatted search on the right field, it places the value on whatever field just gained focus instead of the one it was assigned to.
Any ideas here? We cannot force our users to press shift-f2 on all these fields!
The only other idea I have is to not use a formatted search but instead try to create some sort of popup form with a grid and my own query. There has to be an easier way, right?

I use the following on a KeyDown event for when the User tabs out of a field after entering data if the data they entered is not valid. Perhaps you could try this in the LostFocus event:

How to populate data in MPP through F4 search help(the field should get filtered as per key)

Dear Experts.
I am new to ABAP and hence trying jmy hands on various ways of peforming a task.
I have a requirement. I want to maintain a database tables through MPP : ZLT_Auftrag (Refer Screen Shot 1: Doubt MPP1) and ZLT_Kunde (Refer Screen Shot2: Doubt MPP2)
The fields of ZLT_Kunde are: K1, K2, K3
The fields of ZLT_Auftrag are: A1, A2, A3, A4, P1 P2 and P3 are related as per the key field "A3"   (Here A3 = K2)
I want the User to be able to Maintain this table through the Screen that I had created using MPP. (Plz refer the attached Screen Shot3:Doubt MPP3 of the SCREEN in MPP)
When I populate the Kunde name(K1) in the SCREEN (Can be done by F4 Search help), then on hitting the pushbutton "Get Kunde" the kunde Code (K2) appears . Now from here it can be deleted or even a new Kunde name and code can be saved dirctly to the database table : ZLT_Kunde. (Refer Screen Shoot4: Doubt MPP4)
For Example for Kunde (K1)= BASF, Kunde Code (K2) = BSF, the Auftrag should be all those values from ZLT_Auftrag (where A3 = BSF)
When I try to populate the Auftrag value on the SCREEN then on hitting F4 (already created for table ZLT_Auftrag in se11) then I get all the values of Auftrag (A1) from the table ZLT_Auftrag. (Ply refer Screen Shot 5: Doubt MPP5)
MY REQUIREMENT: Here I want that either through F4 help or through drop down ONLY those values of Auftrag-A1 should appear on the SCREEN which satisfies the condition: A3 = K2
I am unbale to get how to do that.
I need your valuable suggstions.

1. Delete / Remove login_ids from a string found in one or more of the fields in Mocha table

Audit directory and searching through the logs for deleted file

And in description of this article is: to found deleted files in auditing directory I have to found event 560.
But I have about 60 000 events.
My file abcd.txt is missing and I have to find who delete it, but I cant click 60 000 times to find it.
Moreover most of that event looks like its objcect open not object deleted.
How to find this particular?

You can use Custom View and XML filter to filter specific event logs. Firstly, create a custom view. Then type an XML query to filter by ObjectName (abcd.txt).

[RB 6i] Format text in the field using HTML-tags. Or another way...

If some fields of tables in database contain html tags such as 'H<sub>2</sub>O' (here is html tag 'sub') or 'some<b>text</b>'(here is html tag 'b') how can I to make Report Builder 6i to understand these tags or at least don't show them?
Or how in another way can I format a part of text inside the field?

Hi Maxim,
If the output is PDF, the only way is to filter the incoming values yourself. You will need to create a PL/SQL column and remove the HTML markup tags. This, of course, leaves you without attributes you wanted in text (ie: the no "Bold" characters). You can still do this in with the same report basing the output from the PL/SQl formula column on the "desformat" input parameter.
Reports doesn't have any "markup" capability. ie: A field only has one font & one colour. You can have multiple fonts for boilerplate text but, again, only a single colour.

for a material in mara, i am serching for the fields like
1) date of manufacture of that material
2)country where that material is manufactured.
i.e country of origin.
plz suggest me.
ur advice is higly appreaciated.

Thanks for ur help.but ERSDA is the material creation date in SAP .it is not the actual manufacturing date.
just now i am searching for
1) the country of origin where the material (finish good) is created.
2)is there any field for waybill number?i want to display this in delivery order.

Removing Leading Spaces in the field to be displayed

Hi,
Could you please tell me how to remove leading spaces in currency field in write statement?
the length of the field cannot be changed by writing fieldname(length).
is there any other method to do the same. the length should vary according to the amount in the field.

If it's in the Dock, drag it out. It'll disappear.
If it's on the desktop or inside a folder, drag it to another location.
