And in order to remove the frame from the modern indicator, you use the paint tool and color it transparent. Make sure you select the frame by hitting the space bar.

I edited a .MOV file with QT Pro by selecting garbage at back end of file and using "Cut".  I saved file. File now shows the correct content (w/o garbage at end), but file is still the same size.  How do I actually remove content to make smaller physical file?

While you have your movie in the QT player Select an IN point ( pressing "i") , where you whant to begin the selection and an OUT point where you whant it to end. Press "Comand+X" or go to Edit/Cut. And the selection will be removed.

  • Removing frames from dvcpro hd to make it 23.98?

I have some DVCPRO HD material on tape. It comes in at 59.94. I need it to come in at 23.98. None of the presets do this. I tried changing it to capture at 23.98 but it always ends up being 59.94 once captured. I tried the "remove advanced pulldown" option but it prompts me it only works on DV and DVCPRO 50 material. The manual says it works on DVCPRO HD material as well but its not working for me. Any work around?

Chris...you should have had it telecined to 720p24, then the pulldown would have been removed automatically.
But everyone is pointing you in the right direction. REVERSE TELECINE with Cinema Tools. Do not Conform. Cinema Tools is a fairly basic program, so removing the pulldown will be easy to find.

  • How to remove frames in ISA B2B

    Hi Everyone,
Our requirement is to change the looks and feels of the standard ISA B2B application drastically. To achieve the requested looks and feel, we may have to remove the frames, but at this point we are not sure if this is possible.
I would like to know if frames in B2B app can be removed? If Yes then, how easy or difficult it is to do that? What are the disadvantages of doing that?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Yoshi.

    Hi Yoshi,
Remove frame/frames in ISA B2B is a standard requirement.
There are 2 main files from where you can control ISA Frames.
    1.  fs_start_inner.jsp
    2.  fs_startworkarea.jsp
You cannot remove frame from ISA B2B frame structure but you can hide frame.
Below is the example to hide "History Frame"
    Open file fs_startworkarea.jsp.
    Try to find below line.
    <frameset cols="*,15,80" id="fourthFS" border="0" frameborder="0" framespacing="0">
Here 15 and 80 represent closer_history and _history frames. Suppose you want to hide these 2 frames from ISA B2B frame structur then change as below.
    <frameset cols="*,0,0" id="fourthFS" border="0" frameborder="0" framespacing="0">
Now save "fa_startworkarea.jsp" and run ISA B2B you will not see closer History and History frames on right side.
Actually in ISA B2B we are not removing frames but we are hiding frames which is as good as removing frames.
Hiding frame will not create any problem in ISA B2B as you are not bracking any logic or process flow so do not worry.
Again remember we are not removing any frame from standard structure but we are just hiding it by making it "0"
I hope it will help you to achieve  your goal.

    > Are you trying to remove frames from Video file ?
In my FLA file I have a movieclip created by using
    Insert---New
    Symbol---movieclip
Then I import an AVI file onto the stage of that movieclip.
    As a result I
have about 250 frames created in the movieclip timeline. Now
    I wanted to
    remove some of them

Yes, you appear to have found a "bug' or missing function of premiere cs5. (is it fixed in 5.5?)
My sony HVR-M25AU decks are fully capable of recording HDV 1080/24p signals from firewire and it is not working from premiere cs5. I created the adobe HDV 1080p24  sequence and tried export to tape and my deck flashes a big window saying "Invalid Input Format"
doh! lol as i just typed this i looked back at premiere to verify the sequence name and in the window for the preset description it says:
"Note; Export to tape is not supported in this editing mode"
O'well now that leaves us with - Hey adobe why cant $800 premiere do something so simple that sony vegas can?

  • Removing text frames from rdf export format

After a report has been exported in rdf format, can anyone tell me if there is a way to remove the text frames from the document, so that the formating is retained but by using word's tabs etc.
Our client needs to manually add sections to the document after the report has been generated and we find that because of the text frames the document formatting gets ruined when new sections are added to the file.

I don't know whether any of this will help?
According to the manual there are only a very limited range of adjustments you can make to iMovie projects.
Turn iMovie adjustments on or off
When editing a project in iMovie, you can adjust several video attributes, such as exposure, brightness, and saturation, in the Project Browser. If you import an iMovie project that has these adjustments into Final Cut Pro, the adjustments are retained and appear in the Color area of the Video inspector as an iMovie item.
Although you cannot modify the adjustments added in iMovie, you can choose whether they are applied to the clip or not.
Note: Video adjustments you make to clips in the iMovie Event Browser are not retained and do not appear in Final Cut Pro.
Turn a clipʼs iMovie adjustments on or off
In the Timeline, select a clip with iMovie adjustments applied, and select or deselect the iMovie checkbox in the Color area of the Video inspector.
Note: The iMovie adjustments appear only in the Timeline, not in the Event Browser.

  • How to remove the frame from an ActiveX Web Browser window

I'm using a web browser window to display content from a web application in my LV front panel.  I'd really like the content to appear as native parts of the front panel rather than being inside a frame.  Is there a method that will allow me to hide or remove the frame from the ActiveX control?  I've tried to make it a custom control and edit the decoration out but that does not seem to work.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Quite right, in my 8.2 the web browser is already borderless (probably transparent). If your web browser window doesn't look good you should be able to insert it into the activeX one, the other should be a special case.

  • Is it possible to remove blemishes from video frames with photoshop cc?

Is it possible to remove blemishes from video frames with photoshop cc?

Again, show us reference screenshots and we will advise. Otherwise this could become an endless theoretical discussion. Depending on what you want to do you can import the video directly using Layer --> New Video Layer e.g. when covering up fied spots with a brush blob on a layer on top of the footage, but you may also need to create separate layers for each frame using the Frames to Layers script so you can paint on each of them individually. There's really too much we don't know and the possibilities are potentially infinite...

  • How do I select a control based on another control's selection and how do I remove enumerations from a control?

    Hi everyone,
I have a question and I *think* the answer may be the new active controls, so here goes:  I have a control which contains a variety of enumerated items - essentially a typedef enum.  I may have up to several dozen items in this control, like this:
    Position - 1
    Current - 2
    Pressure - 3
    Temperature - 4
    Duty Cycle - 5, etc.
I also have a 2nd control (actually a set of controls) that refer to the indices of the above control.  For example, if I "Position" chosen, I wish the 2nd control to appear that refers to position - an enumeration with "X axis, Y axis, etc."  If I select "Temperature", I wish the 2nd control to appear that refers to temperature - a different typedef'd enum - "Inlet, Outlet, Air, Water, etc."
    How do I do this?
Lastly, the first enum with ALL of the items, pressure, current, etc. does not need to be used.  For certain configurations, I wish to eliminate, say the 1st and 3rd item - I don't wish to just gray them out, I wish to remove them from the enumeration, WITHOUT changing their enumerated value.  Perhaps I need to write the resultant enum into a temporary ring enum - any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Jason

Unfortunately, you cannot edit the list of enums during runtime, only during edit mode.  You can use a ring control however.  Then you can use the Strings[] property to set the selections to whatever you want depending upon the 1st enum.  See attached vi.

  • TypeError: Error #1006 - Removing MovieClip from the stage

I have a movie clip that is called to the stage and once the movieclip is finished it calls a function that removes it from the stage. The code works but I get an error message about 4 seconds after the movie clip ends.
    Here’s the error message:
TypeError: Error #1006: exitWordMicroscopic is not a function.
                    at ASvocabulary_microscopic/frame110()[ASvocabulary_microscopic::frame110:1]
    Here’s the stage code:
//************************Removes the movieclip from the stage and enables the button.*************************
