Remove from page menu option in personalization

Hi All,
After clicking the Personalize link am getting new window Portal lagunage option in the detail navigation.
In the Page menu there are different option like remove from page, open in new window. I have selected remove from page option and afte that whole contect area became blank.
I want to revert the changes but am not able to do the same, because i am getting nothing in the content area, only in the detail navigation i am getting one link as Portal lagunage. After clicking this link also am not getting any thing.
I want to get back the language change page. i got one thread on the same but anot able to revert the changes done by me. ESS - Personilize - urgent
Please provide solution for the issue.

Use the System Admin role to revert it back.
There is a under System Admin> Support > > Portal Content Directory > Personalisation cleanup
the required tool.
Use Principal and enter the user.

How to Deactivate or remove "Remove from Page"option for iview/page tray

Hi,
I would like to deactivate the "remove from page" option in the iview tray for ESS screens(WD iviews). I have made Show tray to NO and it hided the whole tray also tried Show remove to NO but no effect. But instead i would like this option (Remove from page) alone to be deactivated or removed.

Remove from page is the correct setting you need to change. If it doesn't seem to be working, this is normally because a content administrator has done something wrong with the delta links. For example, if an iView is included in a page as a copy (not as a delta link) changing the iView won't change the behaviour in the page. Instead you need to change the iView in the page. This is worst practice.
You need to do some delta link tracing

ESS Page in the upper right corner has menu
Open in new Window
Refresh
Personalize
Remove from Page
When user choose Remove from Page and then click "Yes" iView disappears.
And how do I get back it ?
Can I remove this item from menu ?

Use ctrl right click ie personalisation and make it visible again
click at the same place to get this personalisation

The button 'Remove from Page' personalizes the page for that user by
removing the iview. They can re-add the iView by personalizing the page.

Did Lion's iTunes remove the video menu options to increase size and reduce size?

Did Lion's iTunes remove the video menu options to increase size and reduce size?
Is the ability to shrink or expand the video window from a menu item now really gone?

Itunes has not changed in Lion in this regard, you can still go to fullscreen from the menu, and use your input device to make the video window larger and smaller. does that help?

Wouldn't be a handy update if at the top of the open Pages document, next to the Apple and Pages menu option, it showed the open document name or file name?

I'm not sure where the Apple and Pages menu option is. When I'm editing a document in iCloud Beta the name of the document is in the window caption (below).
But your suggestions should be sent directly to Apple and you can do that via the Send Us Feedback button at the top of the document list page:

Reset iView in portal page after selecting 'Remove from Page'

Hi All,
By mistake, I selected 'Remove frmo page' for an iViiew in a page from the context menu that appears on the top right corner on the iView (for more options like 'personlize' option etc). Any idea on how we can revert back.

Invoking Discoverer Report from Zoom Menu Option

HI there
I've seen this on client site but never done it myself. Does anyone have any documentation or guidance on how to set up a form personalization so that the zoom menu option on a form links to a discoverer report, potentially passing parameter values to limit the data? Can forget the parameter side if it's complicated for now as we don't have any full requirements.

Zoom functionality is very simple just follow the bellow steps
• Enter the Form Personalization form. (M) Help > Diagnostics > Custom Code > Personalize.
• Rule Seq: 10
• Description: Create Menu Item
• Trigger Event: WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE
• Context: User and set the value to your user name (don't forget to do this for every Rule you define)
• Select the Actions tab
• Actions Seq: 10
• Type: Menu
• Menu Entry: SPECIAL31
• Menu Label: Discoverer Report
• Rule Seq: 30
• Description: Open Discoverer Report
• Trigger Event: SPECIAL31
• Context: User and set the value to your user name
• Actions Seq: 10
• Type: Builtin
• Builtin Type: Launch a Function
• Function Code: XXX---Function name
• Function Name: wil be defaulted from the code
• Save your work and exit all the forms.
Try it out!!!

Has the command-P keyboard shortcut to print been removed from Pages 5.2?

Is this just me or has one of the most used keyboard shortcuts been removed from the latest Pages?
You have to navigate the mouse to File>print...? No command>P?

Thanks. I went to Keyboard in System Preferences and added command+P as print command. No idea why it disappeared from Pages - but not Safari.

Remove New Link Menu Option

Hello, all!
I am looking to remove the New > Link option in the Portal Favorites iView. From looking through the forum posts, it looks like I have to create my own Layout Set and define commands. I have done all of that, but in my copied command group, it looks like it only defines the Clipboard and Details sections. I can't seem to find where to define which options to show under "New."
When you are in the Organize Entries of the Portal Favorites iView, you can click beside your Favorites folder and select New > < Folder..., Link..., External Link... >. I need to remove the "Link..." option. Does anyone know how to do that?

Your requirement can be done probably.
Just check the steps below.
1.Check the Layout of the Portal Fav iView.
            PortalFavoritesExplorer
2.Check the collection renderer of the Layout
             PortalFavoritesCollectionRenderer
3.Check the Components(Use Show Advanced)
              OrganizePortalFavoritesEntries
4. Now check this Component:Content Management->(Show Advanced Options)Mapping->Component.
    Search for the component: OrganizePortalFavoritesEntries
    Now you will see it uses a Command : EditFavorites
5. Edit the Command : EditFavorites
    You will see in the Parameters, it is using a layout:PortalFavoritesMaintenance
6. Open layout:PortalFavoritesMaintenance
7. Edit the Collection Renderer PortalFavoritesMntcCollectionRenderer
8. Edit the Collection Command Group: LinkListMntcCollectionCommandGroup
9. Edit the Command Group: LinkListMntcNewResourceGroup
10.Edit the Commands :Remove the new_internal_link Command.

HTC Sense and wallpaper app has been removed from Main menu, How do you restore?

I seem to have fat fingered the main menu, dragging, of all things the HTC Sense and Wallpaper from the main menu. In fact, having said that, I can no longer scroll through the menu screens that once existed. I can get them to appear as "shadows" on the main menu, but that's it. I have navigated to settings / applications / manage applications but have not succeeded in finding a way to reactivate the Sense and Wallpaper apps, or at least to make them reappear from where ever I dragged them to. Before I bury myself, thought I'd better look for help. Needless to say, I'm new to this device and have managed to out strip my skill level in less than 2 weeks!

Not sure if this will work (or even how that happened) but you could try disabling sense, then turning it back on. I think you can do this by pressing menu>settings>applications>manage applications, select the all tab at the top of your screen, scroll down to and select HTC Sense, then select clear defaults. Then press your home button, a menu should pop up asking what action you would like to take, choose Home (or whatever the other option is besides Sense) but do not select use as default. At this point you may want to reboot your phone then, when it comes back on, if it does not ask you again, press home button and select Sense. If you can confirm this works, the next time you choose Sense, you can select it as default. Kind of a shot in the dark, hope this helps.
Also, you may want to clear data on Sense (same place as clear defaults). This will force you to set your homescreens and any settings or profiles you have created through Sense, but that would be my next guess.
Oh, and if you are using a task killer, disable it. Just throwing out ideas here. Again, hope something here helps.

I have upgraded my Mac to 10.10 and of course that meant upgrading Pages as well. I have a document which has been a work in progress over the past year. It is
a large formate document with illustrations, a double sided pages requiring the Facing Pages feature. I've also need to re-arrange whole groups of pages as the project evolves. The removal of Facing Pages and the ability to re-organize my documents by dragging the thumbnails is a HUGE disaster. WHY would Apple remove such functionalities. WHY? This was a STUPID STUPID STUPID idea.

Pages '08 (updated to v3.0.3) still works on Yosemite. But there may be a way to resuscitate Pages '09.
In the Finder, make a new folder in your login directory. Just call it Pages9. Copy /Applications/iWork '09/Pages.app into this Pages9 folder. Do not remove Pages '09 from that iWork '09 folder.
Now, download and install the iWork 9.3 updater. This will give you the latest Pages '09 v4.3, which is recommended for Yosemite. If this version of Pages now works, then drag/drop it to your Dock for single-click access. Try opening your critical document in this new version of Pages.
If you get a message that states that it cannot find the index.xml file, then it has been already converted into a Pages v5 document — and not be the same document as you worked so long on. See if you have a backup in Time Machine, or elsewhere.
Export any documents that you have saved in Pages v5.5.2 as Pages '09 documents. Then, make another folder in your login directory. Call it Pages5. Move /Applications/Pages.app into this Pages5 folder. Right-click on this Pages5 folder and compress it. In concert with this effort, also click on System Preferences > App Store and check only the following:
You can now double-click to open your Pages '09 documents as v5 is no longer available.

Check to see if ~/Library/Contextual Menu Items has the .plugin file
Move it to the desktop, log out then back in and see if the menu entry is gone.

How to remove the ALV Statistics option from Accounts user's userids

Dear Sir/Madam,
In our Accounts department each time one extra page is comming out. When the ALV Statistics option is make Unchecked, then it funtioninng normally that is, single page is comming out.
Is there any way to make this option permanently Unchecked ? If possible please advice and also whether there will be any unwanted implications of it ?

Option 1 - Use SAP Report RSPRIPARADMIN you can set this for all users
Option 2 - user parameter SP01_FROM 0000000002 - This means print job will start from page 2
Option 3 - List -> Print -> click to properties button in print window -> expend cover sheets -> double click on ALV statistics , now uncheck the ALV statistics check box . now click on setting button and click on copy setting button
