Remove History Items After 1 Day

I have Safari's prefs for "Remove history items" set to "After 1 day", however it doesn't clear my history after 1 day. In fact it behaves as if it's set to "manual". Is this a bug? There was another post that is now archived that indicated that this is probably a bug, but that was from 2009. Surely, by now a bug in the first tab of the preferences pane should have been patched. Or am I missing something? I've cleared history and cache a few times to no avail. Any help?

Try deleting the cache associated with Safari...
Quit Safari.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type of copy/paste: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari
Click Go then move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari. See if that makes a difference...
If not, check Safari > Preferences > Extensions. If there are any installed, turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Safari 6: Remove History Items After One Day does nothing?

I don't like getting autocompletes from a million past sites, so I clear my history every so often. I prefer to do it manually, but Safari 6 deletes all the favicons--not just of the history but of your bookmarks too! Permanently. So I thought I'd try automatic history clearing instead: After One Day.
But three days later, the History menu still shows the full histories for the past 3 days.
Yet another bug I guess? Is this universal behavior?
I'm on Lion at the moment.

Might be corrupted Safari preference files... try this.
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...
from the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.
Quit Safari.
Go to Home/Library/Caches/Safari and delete all the sub-folders within that one.
Go to Home/Library/Safari and delete any of these files you have there:
• Downloads.plist
• History.plist
• LastSession.plist
 Repair disk permissions...  
Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.  Restart Safari

"Remove history items" general setting - what does it mean?

In the help for this menu option it states "Use the menu to specify how often you want Safari to clear the history list." You can choose from:
- After one day
- After one week
- After two weeks
- After one month
- After one year
- Manually
Does that mean it to clear items that are older than one day/week/weeks/month/year, or does it mean to clear the entire history list every day/week/weeks/month/year? The history cleared but it wasn't done manually so I am trying to figure this out.

Hmm, now that you mention it, it is a bit confusingly worded
Safari should remove History that is older than those options.
i.e. only the last days history is retained, or the last weeks, etc.

I have 10 Items in the list , selected index is 5.
Now i want to delete all the items above 5 (6-10).
I think an array would be a solution but im not so kind with

I see I can open 1 history item ant a time how can I open more than 1 if my browser crashed or was force quitted. Also is there a way to open previous items from before I day if I lunch safari and don't open my recent items using history.

I am having issues and permanent encounter in having my removed login items reappearing after reboot. I have very MANY of the same programs in 'open at Login accounts' eg: Messenger,Safari,Skype,Evernote,Dropbox,antivirus, but they are listed dozens of times. in this 'open at login' area.
Here's the steps I have taken:
1) Open Applications, Account Preferences, cluck my administrator acc, select program to delete, click on - and wait.
2) Remove some login items (with or without unlocking the lock, doesn't seem make a difference, tried both)
3) Login items are now fewer
4) Reboot
5) voila, the removed login items are still loaded and displayed in login item tab.
How does one solve this? Tried to google, but....

This seems to an ongoing issue (see related discussion link). We've been experiencing the same update lag since last Friday. The new additions to the Collection appear and are accessible in both the iPad and iPhone applications, but even though they additions appear in "Quick View", the material doesn't appear in the Collection itself. Apple is aware of the issue and is investigating. All the best...

The 30 day limit, as I understand it, prevails after you reach one of the prevailing number limits. I've yet to reach one of those limits over the past few years and my PhotoStream is still intact.
However, it's a good idea to move your photos into iPhoto which is your on-disk library. And, this library can be backed up locally, thus, preserving your photos.

If all else fails use Utilities> Terminal.
If there are several locked files in the Trash, you can unlock them all at the same time at the command line. Follow these steps:
Open Terminal. It's located in /Applications/Utilities.

The History item in FireFox 7 does not offer more than one day; earlier versions offered day, week & month. Can I have this in version 7?

When selected, the FireFox tab at the extreme leeft of the screen gives a dropdown with two colums. The right hand colums includes History, but, when selected, only gives the history of the day, whereas earlier versions gave the histories of that day, week and prior months.
How can I get this in version 7? Or must I download an earlier version, say 4?

Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?

Re-Filling Dimension table, after removing line-item property

Hi Friends,
We need to remove line item property of a line item dimension of an infocube. I made that change and activated the cube. But when i check the dimension table of this dimension, i see no records regarding this.
This cube has 60 mil. records, so we can not delete the content and reload it.
Do you guys know anyway to fill that dimension table with the existent data in the cube ?

I didn't delete the content of the cube but was able to remove checkmark of line-item dimension. Cube was activated successfuly. But the problem is that there in no data in this newly created dimension table..

System should not allow to delete PO line Item after GR/IR

Hi,
I am working on a SAP Retail Implementation project.
Currently the system is allowing us to delete the PO line items after doing GR or IR against that PO line item. But the clients requirement is that the system should not allow to delete PO line item after doing GR/IR.
We are using Account Assignment Category-N, Item Category-S.
Please let me know if you have the solution for this requirement.

Standard SAP will not allowed the PO to be deleted once it was GR done. The controlled is on the attributes of message to set as "E"

Why is Photostream so flakey? I got it to work after days of prodding and cursing and now it has frozen up again. Grrrrr!

And this was just between an iPhone 4S and an iPad.
Then, feeling brave I decided to add my PC. Big mistake! I downloaded and installed the iCloud software and configured the control panel.
I waited and waited and waited but nothing. When I restarted the computer and looked at the Photostream directory it said that it was not running and I needed to go to the control panel. I did this and tried to turn it on again. Nothing worked. After a lot of prodding I got a warning about permissions.
I de-installed iCloud, removed all directories and re-installed it. I reset iCloud on the website. A day later it has started to work but now it is ignoring all photos on my iPhone, even those that are only a day or so old and that I actually want.
In total frustration I Google and someone recommends using Dropbox. I install this on iPad, iPhone and PC and I can't believe it; it all works and all photos are now synchronised on all devices. How easy was that?
Why can't iCloud and Photostream work like that? I have no confidence in this software and I suspect that even if it works now it will stop working in a week or so.
I am absolutely thrilled with my iPhone and iPad but I am totally turned off by this awful photo sharing software. It doesn't work properly and it is not robust. The slightest thing prevents it from working and a change of winds stops it working. My take is that it is basically unusable, but maybe I didn't persevere enough.
My pc by the way is a very recent Dell workstation running Windows 7.

Curiously, after days of trying to coax Photostream into life with no success, after setting up Dropbox and watching it upload the photos I looked at the Photostream directory and lo and behold some photos were also appearing. It was like Photostream had got over its sulk period and had decided to start working. It wasn't going to be upstaged by Dropbox maybe?
But you are right, when you reset Photostream it then ignores all photos on all devices before that time. I find this frustrating as I want to get all the photos out of my iPhone and iPad and backed up on my PC. Photostream doesn't seem to support this. It would be great if there was a once-off sync function in Photostream.
if Photostream worked seamlessly this wouldn't be an issue but it clearly doesn't.
I've noticed Dropbox also has an annoying feature that it won't automatically update the photos without going into the Dropbox app whereas Photostream does do this automatically - when it is having a good day that is.
I guess there are other ways of getting stuff out of my iPhone and iPad but I am a newbie to Apple and need to explore this more. All suggestions welcome.

Requirement: To remove line items from invoice which have 0 qty.
For this I wrote the code in RV60AFZZ. It is very well happening, but when last line item comes it is failing.
What I have written is " DELETE XVBRP WHERE FKIMG = '0' ." . This code is deleting all the line items with 0 qty except last line item.
Actually, this exit works line item wise. Once the line item is appended, the code what I have written is working. For the last line item, record is not appended when this exit is triggerred, thats why last record is not deleted.
The include where all line items are getting appended in XVBRP is LV60AB03. I modified this also. Same code I have written here to delete the records once it is appended. But after doing this the problem is - invoice is not getting created.
Please help me in doing this so as to delete this last record also. I tried with other logics also, not able to track the last record.
Please help me to resolve this problem.

Check user exit RV60AFZC.
RV_INVOICE_DOCUMENT_ADD is the FM which is called to generate number for the invoice after all the line items have been added to vbrp structure. Add a break-point here and check.
