Remove my Skype Name from the Skype directory

Hello, can you please help me. I want you (someone who does that) to remove my Skype Name from the Skype directory.
I removed all my personal information from my profile.
"If you want us to remove your Skype Name from the Skype directory, you need to contact our Skype Customer Service. It may take up to two weeks to remove your name from the directory."
I've read everything about this topic. So, please, can you just do that?

Please do contact Skype Customer Service to file your request to remove the account - remember, this is a one-time request, is permanent, and will disable your account from further use.

If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service, try again using a different web browser. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. Hi, I want to remove a username from the skype login screen on a Samsung Smart TV, but haven't found any way of doing it. I managed to remove a username on a laptop PC by looking up the Skype help but that method doesn't seem to work on the Smart TV - anyone got any suggestions? Thanks

There is a way of doing this, but it involves resetting ALL of the smarthub back it's default state - which would mean that you would have re-install any other apps that you have downloaded.
To do this, go to the SMART HUB menu and press the TOOLS button on the remote. WHen the menu appears, select the SETTINGS option and then RESET. You'll need to enter your PIN (if set) before you can reset the SMART HUB back to its factory default state. When it's completed, Smart Hub will update itself next time you go back to it, and you'll notice that all of the Skype Names are now removed from the sign in screen.

Guys this is absolute rubbish feature of the login application where people's login names get recorded in the dropdown menu. Is there any more permanent way of getting rid of this annoying privacy intrusive "feature"? I would like to have a profile with a username that is not going to appear at airports and my grandma's laptop after I log out of skype and no I do not want to go digging for app files to remove my entire history on each and every machine I use as suggested by your help files. Could you please advise if I'm missing something here?

How do you remove your FULL name from the SYSTEM COMPLETELY?!?!

I have added and removed the user thinking that would remove my full name from the system, but when I click on the "About this Mac" and then click on More info, My FULL NAME is still there as the owner of the computer. I am selling it and I do not want my name on the computer at all and do not wish to format the whole drive to do so. Is there another way of removing it? I appreciate anyone that has the correct answer.

System Preferences>Sharing>Computer Name.
BTW, unless you know and completely trust the person to whom you are selling, this is not the way to do things. Your sensitive data may still be recoverable.

does the time stamp with the ":" a part of your output file?
else use a replaceAll function in your mapping and replace the : with empty string then use the value in the variable substitution
Another option is use the normal BPM for 1: N message flow. The use a simple java mapping that will introduce a dynamic configuration and you can create the file name as you want. the java mapping will be used in the flow of messages from BPM to target system.

How can I remove old calendar names from the iTunes sync list?

I gave my calendars new names as part of reducing the total number of calendars in my iCal, and now iTunes still lists the old calendar names as well as the new ones in its "selected calendars" list, even though these names are no longer present in my iCal nor on my iPod Touch. How can I remove the old calendar names?

The "genius" folks at the Apple Store lived up to their names. The key was to reset the iSync history in the iSync Preferences.

I don't want to receive contact request from anyone who knows my name so I wanted to change my Skype Name and change my Display Name to stop people finding me with my full name on Skype.

So I start looking for how to delete my present Skype account before creating a new one. I tried to contact Skype Customer Service by Email but they're having some problems at the moment.

Delete of my account - skype name from skype direc...

Hello.
I am wish to delete my account (Skype Name from the Skype directory)
I have already taken all steps described in: 'Can I delete my Skype account?' ...deleted all personal information (name, e-mail, etc...)
I also tried to contact the customer support with my request ...tried all the steps there as well but it took me all around back here.
Is there any direct e-mail contact option? Can someone assist me?

I think that the instructions on how to contact customer service is clear enough and easy to follow. Yet, if that one is not working for you (though contacting via webform usually results to faster responses), you can also try to send an email to [email protected] .

Is there any way to remove my name from the profil...

Is there any way to remove or prevent my profile from appearing in the profile search directory? I'm so tired of ALL the unwanted contact requests. Yeah I know I don't have to add them but this shouldnt even be a problem in the first place. If I want to add someone to add me I'll give them my skype name.

You may certainly remove all profile data by leaving those settings as "blank" or "not specified." I find the easiest way to do this is to open the profile settings from within the Skype "client" software.

How To Remove A Specific Application Name From The "Open With" Dialog

When you right click on a file you are presented with the "Open With" menu item and you are also presented with a list of applications that could potentially be used to open that file.
In my case, when I click on a file of type .mov I am presented with the name of an application that I want to remove from the list, because that application ( Miro.app (2.5.2) ) no longer exists on my system.
What is the best way to remove that application name from the list?

Ok, but how does one remove some of the applications that are appear in the context menu for a given file type? Is there an asc file which can be edited?
For example, in my system a PDF can be opened with over 10 applications. I would like to see just the three ones I use: Acrobat, Skim and Preview.

The final step is to contact Skype Customer Service, as is mentioned above, to file your request. Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
You will need to proceed through each step, one at a time. Sign on to the Skype website as requested. Choose the subject and topic which most closely matches the item you need assistance with. Then, continue past Step 2 of the instruction where several articles from the FAQ library will appear for you to review, and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request (the blue "button" appears at the lower right corner of the website page). You may also skip through Step 4 where you will be referred back here to the Community; no need to do this as the Community is where you started. How do I remove myself from the Skype directory?

Basically, I only want people who I've given my skype handle to, to be able to initiate a connection request with me.
I am propositioned daily by numerous people overseas wanting to connect with me. I'm sure they don't have my skype handle. They are finding me in the directory. I'd like to be unlisted and only findable to those who know my exact Skype handle.
The lack of a way to inhibit this contact spam is really annoying, and is reflecting poorly on Microsoft, now that they ultimately own this. It's hard to feel this is a professional product when random people can message you right within skype like this.
