Remove orhpaned master references?

Hello all,
A while back i deleted a folder from Finder containing multiple images and the referenced masters in Aperture became orphaned. I then opened aperture and deleted the orphaned masters (i deleted the folder after importing the images into the Aperture library).
For some consistency reasons a few days ago, i performed a library rebuilt and to my surprise, all the orphaned references reappeared. Not the images but the shortcuts pointing to the master. So i am now stuck with referenced masters that show nothing, being duplicates of some other image in the library (aperture does NOT recognize them as duplicates).
I can delete them but if for any reason i need to do a library rebuilt again, they will reappear.
Is there any way i can wipe them out once and for all and prevent them reappearing with every library rebuilt?

to remove the master password go to /Library/Keychains (that's the Library at the top level of the drive) and delete the files FileVaultMaster.cer and
FileVaultMaster.keychain. that's it. note that this change will not effect any existing filevault accounts. meaning that if you create a new master password after that it will not work on already existing filevault accounts.

You can drag the None master and drop it right on top of the pages you want it applied to, or right click or use the panel menu and "Apply Master to pages."

May be I was not clear enough.
Scenario 1: We use the master-detail form as is with the default oolbar. In this case, the user can insert the detail records one by one without needing the primary-foreign key value since this is handled by default.
Once we save the form (commit_form), I use the pre-insert trigger to get the master block primary key generated from the sequence and since the detail block key is copied from this value, both are saved correctly and it is the end of the story.
Scenario 2: As explained in the initial post, the user will populate the detail records one by one by clicking on the -INSERT DETAIL- button and hence has a window where he can insert the detail info and then be brought back to the master-detail form every time he enters a new detail record.
The problem here is that I can't generate the primary key for the master block since the client has the following requirement:
The user can always change his mind and not complete, meaning save the form, his process
As such, the key should be generated in the last step before Commit.

I cannot remove my master password - the remove button is gray

I enabled the Firefox master password but FF kept asking for it every 20 seconds while I was using gmail, so I wanted to disable and remove the master password.
When I uncheck the master password box, a popup screen asks for the master password but entering it in the field, the "remove" button is and remains unclickable. So now how do I get rid of the master password?

You can check the value of the security.password_lifetime pref on the <b>about:config</b> page.
You can set the MP to an empty string to disable it.

Remove the 'Master Password'

I've searched to see if this topic has been raised in the forums, but I am unable to locate a similar question - which I find amazing.
Once the Master Password has been set, the only option via the 'File Vault' area is to change the password. I am keen to find out if it is possible to 'Remove the Master Password' once it has been set. And by remove I mean to have it set to 'No Password'
File Vault is not active/set, but Master Password is.
Can anyone help?

Remove bad dll reference after content data migration sharepoint 2007 - sharepoint 2010

I have 400 subsites under one root site and we need to remove one DLL reference from default.aspx Home page of each sub site.

Hi,
If are sure that this is the only customization in the default.aspx page, then you can safely go into Site Settings -> Site Actions -> Reset to site definition -> Select Reset specific page to site definition version and enter the default.aspx
page url. This will replace the customized page with the original site definition page. The process can be automated using PowerShell/C# Code. Here is an example:

The main part here is to get hold of the default.aspx file and use RevertContentStream() to reset it to site definition page.
However, if there are other customizations as well, then you will need to get hold of the Project or WSP file and remove the reference there and then run update-spsolution powershell command to update to new WSP.

How do I remove network printer references in Advanced Type?

Maybe somebody else can help me figure this out.
I installed Canon network printer drives, first "UFRII" Drivers, but then PS (which I believe is PostScript), those are the ones I actually needed for the network I am on.
The first one was a 98mb install, the second was only 21mb. I have a solid state drive and don't feel like wasting 100mb, so I tried to delete the drivers. Both were installed from .pkg files downloaded from the Canon website - they're legit and all. I found no uninstall option, and after some research, found out in fact none exists. WTH? But that's an aside.
I followed the various online directions and deleted the CANON folder in Library/Printers, as well as the stuff in /Resouces, and even the Color Profiles and LaunchAgents.
Yet, when I went to reinstall the printers with the new drivers, I still see the old "Types" listed in Settings > Print & Scan > Advanced (found the tab with the customize trick) and after it does a quick "searching...," I see them listed under "Type:"
If there are references to the printers then it is clear I did not catch everything, please let me know how to wipe these out.
I have time machine backups, short of doing a full restore (not even sure how), what are my options? I tried restoring just the Library/Printers folder, no luck on that alone.

The file(s) you are looking for are most likely in /usr/libexec/cups/backend/. Use extreme caution when removing files from that directdory. You could really mess up your entire system.
I would strongly urge you to contact Canon for a proper removal tool. Without a proper uninstaller, you almost certianly will not remove all that the installer left behind. A proper uninstaller will remove the files and the receipts for the installers that normally get placed in /private/var/db/receipts. Again, use extreme caution in messing with file in that directory unless you know what you are doing.

Win 8.1 Metro apps re-installing after being removed from the reference image

After deployment all Metro apps are reinstalled or reinstalling.
Notes: Setting Copyprofile True is ignored and have tried various methods and it is always ignored.
If I use the wim from sources\install.wim and I either dism /remove-appx... or powershell in win PE get-appx -path | Remove-appx...
If that wim is modified and used then it deploys without the Metro apps but it doesnt have any windows updates. If I use that wim to build the reference image it will have no metro apps but after capture and deploy through sccm the metro apps start
to re-install.

Yes as I've removed it both via get-appxpackages | Remove-appxpackages and via the dism commands.
I have found also that wasn't getting a good sysprep. Problems with copy profile lead me to try doing a manual sysprep where I found I was getting failures in my sysprep. The problem was that I was disabling the windows store service in my reference
image.
I was very hopeful that was going to be the resolution but it appears that is not the case.

We have used a Framemaker book template that was created about 15 years ago to create technical manuals. We've modified this template many times. It's pretty complex, but the main purpose is to keep the appearance, structure, etc., consistent among mulitiple writers. It works well.
We originally used Times and Helvetica as the primary fonts. Now we're using other fonts. It was a tedious job to replace all the instances of Times and Helvetica in the Paragraph and Character designers.
Here's the problem:
Theoretically, these fonts should be gone.
But if I open the template files, even with no content, I get this message in the Frame Console:
xxx Font is not available. (where xxx is Helvetica or Times or variants)
zzz will be used in this session.
I didn't see this problem until today, because my computer was just reimaged by IT and so I no longer have these (Postscript) fonts installed. Frame thinks these fonts are still used in the various .fm chapters. But, it should not need them.
I got to thinking about how old our template is and so I "examined" one of the template files, chapter.fm. I renamed the file chapter.txt and was able to open in with Notepad. I found about 40 references to Helvetica buried in Frame's code (some of it "machine language"). This was certainly revealing. My real question is, is there anyway to purge the files of these font references? The file structure is totally complex and I would not think of editing these files. I'm sure this would not work, and Adobe would probably arrest me if I did.
Is there a MIF editor or similar that could do this?
I could reinstall these fonts as a workaround, but they're really not used and so I would rather purge the font references if I can.
Someone may say: Create a new template. If we did, we would want it to be the same as the one we have. It is complex enough that we just cannot take the time to do this. It would take days and days.

Many years ago I had a similar problem. I solved it by saving the file to mif and then opening the mif file with NotePad or WordPad, then searching for instances of the old font. These usually appeared as a toggle on and a toggle off without any text between them. So, I deleted them and opened the mif file and saved back to fm. I did not take the opportunity to determine exactly where these instances were in the file. They can be anywhere..body pages, reference pages, master pages, etc.
NOTE that if you take the above route and then import your template into existing files, the instances in existing files will still be there because it cannot copy in something that does not exist.
When you say, "This will blow away the old references," do you think it would get rid of the numerous references that are unseen in the .fm file (unless you look at it in Notepad)?
No, the references are still there, but you have changed them to a different font, one that is on your system. Arnis' point is that this is a simple way to get rid of the console messages because the assumption is that such font references do not display in your document so are likely inocuous.

i have a problem with master detail ,i made application module that contains in his data model 2 view object , the master is 'typeVO' and under this is the detail "productVO" ,when i run the application module and create new product under some type every thing is work well until now but press button remove at the detial "product"l and i commit ,i got the following error

what's the problem and how can i fix it please help

What code does your button remove have ?
I would assume it already has a commit in it since you get this error when you are trying to access a row which no longer exists !!
