• Remove Photo Stream System Folder Without Uninstalling iCloud

Hello!
I do not want to uninstall iCloud. But I do not want to use Photo Stream and I do not want to have it in my Computer Folder. How do I do? This folder is an annoyance. Can I at least hide it?
Thanks in advance!

Remove photo stream photos from iCloud

If this is a question open the Photo app on an iOS device to the Photo Stream with the photos you wish to delete. Tap the Select button then once you have selected the photos to delete tap the Trash can at the top to delete them. They will be removed from the photo stream as well as all the devices syncing this stream.

My preferences say no pop-ups, why the constant photo stream request to download my photo files?

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
* https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
* [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]]
In Firefox 4 you can use one of these to start in [[Safe mode]]:
* Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Hold down the Shift key while double clicking the Firefox desktop shortcut (Windows)

• HT201317 How do i remove photo stream from my windows 7 pc? I have not given permission for it to be enabled, but the icon and text still exists in 'computer'.

Please how?
Ps i object to posting this in a forum, i apologise to other forum users. This is what apple support requires me to do.poor job apple

I had already done that before giving him the phone. I left iTunes Match on it because in my mind, he would have access to his music and more. I guess he did not like the clutter form having the entire music to have to browse through.
In any case, I fixed the problem by doing a factory reset and restore from backup.
I should not need to do that .. but that got rid of the iTunes Match from the device.

• How come when you delete a photo in photo stream folder (PC), it is not deleted in the photo stream (iPhone)?

If you upload a photo in the 'Photo Stream Uploads' folder (PC), it is automatically imported to iPhone (via Wi-Fi). How come when you delete a photo from the Photo Stream folder (PC), it is not deleted in the Photo Stream (iPhone)?? I mean doesn't iCloud automatically update the changes? thanks.

You cannot delete photos from the photo stream. You can only log into icloud and in your account, you can delete photo stream and start fresh. It is rumored that the next upgrade to iOS will allow deletions of single photos from the stream, but not yet.

• How to deleted photos in Photo stream?

Can anyone help me to delete photos in Photo Stream!!
Parshwanath

From http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486 :
How do I delete photos from my Photo Stream in iCloud?
Individual photos cannot be deleted from your Photo Stream. You can, however, delete all the photos in your Photo Stream by clicking the Reset Photo Stream button in your account at icloud.com. The Reset Photo Stream button will instantly delete all Photo Stream photos stored in iCloud, but it will not remove any Photo Stream photos that have already been pushed to your devices.
How do I delete photos from my Photo Stream on my devices?
After deleting the photos from your Photo Stream in iCloud, you can remove the Photo Stream photos from your devices as follows:
On your iOS devices, go to Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream and turn Photo Stream off. This will delete all the photos from your Photo Stream album. If there are any photos you want to keep on your device, make sure to add them to an album or save them to your Camera Roll first.
On your Mac, go to iPhoto or Aperture preferences and turn off Photo Stream. This will delete all the photos from the Photo Stream view. If you had Automatic Import enabled in Photo Stream settings, your photos were also imported to your iPhoto or Aperture Library and will remain after you disable Photo Stream. If you want to delete any of these photos from your Library, you can do so manually any time you like.
On your PC, you can remove Photo Stream photos by deleting them from your designated Photo Stream download folder. By default, this folder is located at C:\Users\Apple\Pictures\Photo Stream\My Photo Stream.

• Pictures in photo stream

So.. lets say I take 100 photos on my iphone in one day. They will appear in both my photo stream and my camera roll. But after 30 days the 100 photos I took 30 days ago will be deleted from my photo stream automatically.
Will they still appear in my camera roll after 30 days when they are automatically deleted from the photo stream?
If I have iCloud set up on my Windows computer and turn photo stream on so that it pushes the photos to the default Photo Stream pictures folder in My Pictures, will those 100 pictures that i took 30 days ago be deleted from my computer when they are deleted from photo stream?
In other words.. do I need to do anything extra to make sure the pictures i take on my iphone are not automatically deleted from my camera roll or my windows pictures folder (i.e. copy the pics out of photo stream folder, or save them to my camera roll or pictures folder)?

i have the same problem. photostream not showing up on my ipad. i tried the above solution and it didn't work. anybody have nay other ideas?
much thanks

• Photo Stream is not updating

i am having issues with my photo stream not updating. when i first set it up it was working fine and now is not working. the pictures on my ipad are going in to the photo stram album but they are not updating on my computer. i have the ipad 3rd generation and am running windows 7 (64-bit)

Try copying the photos in your photo stream download folder on your PC to another folder, then go the to iCloud control panel for windows (Start>Control Panel>search for "iCloud" and double-click the icon), uncheck Photo Stream, wait a minute or so, then re-check it. Then take a new photo on your iPad and see if it streams to your computer now.
