Hi,
In Query Designer, I have put the Characteristic Plant, Cost Centre, Person in the Row. In the Column, I entered Characteristic Period, then KF Amout under it.
When I run the report, on the Row, I always have Result being displayed after each Characteristic then follow-by Overall Result.
On the Column, I also have Overall Result.
On the Row, is there a way to u201Chideu201D the Result after each Characteristic? As well as Overall Result?

Right click on each characterstics in Row and Column one by one -> Click on Properties -> For Field Display of Results(Suppress Result) -> Select Always.

Is it possible to remove the value in the result row of a query for a particular keyfigure? I want the the values in the result row for all the keyfigures except one. This particular keyfigure should have nothing in the result row. Is it possible in BEx Query Designer? Because my current setup doesnt allow me to use any other BEx tool other than query designer. Would appreciate if someone can provide me a solution for this using query designer. Helpful replies will be rewarded full points.

u can do that...
enter into query designer
open ur query
go to columns / rows
select ur keyfigure
on right panel u will see properties for that particular keyfigure
go to the Result row option
Select CALCULATE RESULT AS
then select SUPRESS/HIDE OPTION..
that way u can suppress the result rows for ur keyfigure.

Remove results that found based on the portal host header

In case our portal named http://test,
When search the word "test" -user want to get only results with the text "test" and not results that their url's starts with http://test/*
How we can remove the non-relevant results? (maybe with a query rule? or make one of the managed properties related to the URL as non-searchable?)

Hi Keren,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to remove the results which were found based on the host header.
If the URL contains the searched keyword, then the results will include the content the URL referring to.
If you don’t want to display the content whose URL starts with the host header, then you can add property filter using SPSiteURL to exclude the results you don’t want:

Sim Card Removed, Result SD Card wiped

After having removed my Sim Card, then re-installing it, I found that all of the SD Card Memory had been wiped or was unreadable. It is still showing in properties that 15 out of 32 GB of memory has been used (specifically in my Video folder). Has anyone else had this happen?

How to remove a loaded image on the stage from a symbol containing a button?

1st the setup:
General map is loaded
2. On a click event, an larger image of the region is loaded with the following code (thanks to Joel's demo). On mouseover the name of the county appears and on click a popup (symbol) shows some info.

3. In the popup symbol, I want the large image map to be remove on the click event of the button: "View another region" . I have the following code which does not work (the image is not removed) resulting in what you see below:

So my question is how do I remove the image (large image of the region in purple here loaded as described on 2.)?

I got it. It should be:
$("#region1").remove();
// # was missing.
I actually added that to time 0 on the main timeline so when I got back there it removes the image.
It's not working from the symbol yet but I guess I should eventually get it working from there instead.

Result Area in workbook is selected

Hello Experts,
I am facing a problem with my workbook.
Upon opening the workbook and after query refresh, all the result area gets selected. [Like we select any cell with Shift Key] And when I click anywhere in the workbook, it goes away.
I tried -
To remove result area, remove query from the workbook, save workbook as new etc. options, but nothing works.
Please advice if anyone knows the solution for this Problem. Thanks.

I had the same problem. This problem raises generally if you change the query after hiding the sheet and then executing the query. Unhide all the sheets whatever you hide in a workbook and go to query designer save the query (one by one) and execute. Now hide all the sheets which u want to hide. Save the existing workbook.
To test it.Open the workbook and click on refresh.Say yes to refresh all the queries then it will execute fine. This is the case iam talking where you have a query result displayed with different colours or formats in seperate sheet which is linked to original sheet which is hide.

Problem modifying result list.

I want to achieve that a rerun teststep in a sequence overwrites the result of the previous execution.
So I created a SequenceFilePostResultEntry callback which does
- If there is a step in the resultlist which has the same StepID as the last Step copy the result list entry of the latest step over that step
-remove result list entry for latest step.
Unfortunately the statement for copying the result:
Runstate.Caller.Locals.Resultlist[Locals.Index] = Runstate.Caller.Locals.Resultlist[Locals.LastIndex]
creates a runtime error saying that subproperty TS being not of same type.
Indeed the TS structure of Runstate.Caller.Locals.Resultlist[Locals.LastIndex] is missing the fields
SequenceFilePostResultListEntry and ProcessmodelPostResultListEntry which are available for any older Resultlist entry.
Is there a workaround for that ?

I have to look at Parameters.Step.TS.StepFCSeqF
I set Step Fail Causes Seq Fail to false on my calling steps otherwise I always get a fail even retesting the step.

Clear unit test results

Hello,
How can I delete or clear unit test results.
I can't find any funcionality in SQL DEVELOPER.

Hi klenikk,
You can do this in 3.0 in several ways:
1. In the Unit Test navigator, right click a test and select "Purge Test Results".
2. In the menu bar, select Tools/Purge Run Results to remove results for ALL tests.
3. In the results tab of a test editor, right click a run node and select "Delete Result".

Do Vectors search and remove in log(n) time?

I'm working on an application using a Vector to store a sorted list of numbers. Since it's sorted, it would be advantageous to use a log(n) algorithm for searching and removing items. So I'm wondering if the Vector.contains(Object) and Vector.remove(Object) methods know to search for items in a divide-and-conquer manner when it's sorted. I'd use these methods if this is so. Otherwise, I'm wondering if it would make my program run faster if I were to create my own contains(Object) and remove(Object) methods for searching and removing. Does anyone know what kind of algorithms the Vector class uses for these tasks?

Both Vector and ArrayList use an array as an underlying store.
Thus a remove results in all the subsequent objects being moved up one.

There is a call to arraycopy to move all the Object down one.

How can i get also the files in the root directory and how can i for testing add items of IEnumerable FTPListDetail to List string ?

What i get is only the directories and files that in other nodes. But i have also files on the root directory and i never

You can see two directories from the root but no files on the root it self. And in my ftp server host i have files in the root direcory.

Now the main problem is that when i list the files and directories and display them in the treeView it dosen't get/display
the files in the root directory. Only in the sub nodes.
I will see the files inside hello and stats but i need also to see the files in the root directory.
1. How can i get and list/display the files of the root directory ?
2. For the test i tried to add to a List<string> the items in var files to see if i get the root files at all.
This is what i tried in the CreateDirectoryNode before it i added:

Then after var files i did:
testfiles.Add(files.ToList()
But this is wrong. I just wanted to see in testfiles what items i'm getting in var files in the end of the process.
Both var files and directoryListing are IEnumerable<FTPListDetail> type.

What i mean is this. This is a screenshot of my ftp server at my host(ipage.com).
Now this is a screenshot of my program and you can see that in my program i have only the directories hello stats test but i don't have the files in the root: htaccess.config swp txt 1.txt 2.png....all this files i don't have it on my treeView.
What i want it to be is that on my program on the treeView i will also display the files like in my ftp server.
I see in my program only the directories and the files in the directories but i don't see the files on the root directory/node.
I need it to be like in my ftp server i need to see in my program the htaccess 1.txt 2.png and so on.
So what i wrote in my main question is that in the var files i see this files of the root directory i just don't know to add and display them in my treeView(my treeView is treeViewMS1).
I know i checked in my program in the method CreateDirectoryNode i see in the first iteration of the recursive that var files contain this root files i just dont know how to add and display them in my treeView.
On the next iterations when it does the recursive it's adding the directories hello stats test and the files in this directories but i need it to first add the root files.

DELL web site is not working?

Trying to buy a laptop through the web site, trying to go to check out I keep getting "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET". No matter what computer, browser, or ISP I try from...I get this error. Also noticed that I cannot remove items from my shopping cart, same problem. Checkout or item remove results in a 30-60 second period where the browser sits and spins, then I get ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. First time I've ever had this problem. DELL, you have an odd way of getting people to buy your products.

New to java: how to replace an image extending a JComponent?

Hi,
I'm new to Java and I have a question about Swing:
I have a class called ActiveImage (entends JComponent, implements     MouseMotionListener, MouseWheelListener) which takes an Image and displays it. It also receives some mouse events for zooming and moving it around. I display it in a JFrame using:
content = getContentPane();
content.setLayout(new BorderLayout());
image = toolkit.getImage (filename);
ActiveImage activeImage = new ActiveImage(image);
content.add(activeImage, BorderLayout.CENTER);
(This code is in a class extending JFrame.)
This works fine. However, this JFrame also contains a JToolbar with two buttons. Now when I click one of them, I want to replace the image with another one. I've tried removing it and creating a new ActiveImage to add that to content, but that didn't work very well. remove() resulted in a NullPointerException.
My question: what would be the best way to go about this?

"Network-related or instance specific error", Works OK for Administrator

I've been handed a legacy .Net Windows application that was previously used on Windows XP, and asked to debug a few problems encountered on Windows 7 clients. The original developers are all gone. I'm down to only a single
error -- a seemingly common one:
"A network related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing
a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not
accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server
is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes
Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)"
Curiously, this error only occurs for ordinary users. When the application is started using "Run as Administrator" it connects to the database immediately. We believe we can configure the app to always start as an administrator,
but obviously we'd like to run it without that if we can. However, I haven't seen any good suggestions why the database connection would only fail this one way.
Any ideas? I've seen at least one troubleshooting guide that suggested trying with Run as Administrator, but it didn't say how to proceed if that fixes it. Am I just supposed to stop at this point? If I was having a UI problem I might understand
that some old apps just aren't going to work in Windows 7, but this is just connecting to the database. Seems like we should be able to do this. I just don't know what to check.

I have looked more closely at this, and perhaps there are more clues. I use the same user account to log on to two Win7 machines. One is a developer workstation with VS10 installed. The other is representative of a client workstation the app will
run on. My user account is actually an administrator on both machines.
At runtime we invoke advapi32.dll logonuser impersonation to logon to SQL server with a dedicated account.
What we're seeing is that I can run the app freely on the developer workstation. Even with UAC on, and even if I am not using "run as administrator". This may point to something about how the SQL drivers/provider are installed
on that machine.
When I run on the regular user workstation, even though I am an administrator myself, I must "run as administrator" to launch it. And when I do, I get a UAC prompt. When we turn UAC off, of course, the app runs fine.

By default SSIS always uses the low privileged token resulting in a failure when connecting to a SQL Destination. Full administrator access token is required in your case.
Unlike earlier versions of Windows, when an administrator logs on to a computer running Windows 7 or Windows Vista, the user’s full administrator access token is split into two access tokens:
a full administrator access token and a standard user access token.
During the logon process, authorization and access control components that identify an administrator are removed, resulting in a standard user access token. The standard user access token is then used to start the desktop, the Explorer.exe process. Because
all applications inherit their access control data from the initial launch of the desktop, they all run as a standard user.
After an administrator logs on, the full administrator access token is not invoked until the user attempts to perform an administrative task. When a standard user logs on, only a standard user access token is created. This standard user access token is then
used to start the desktop.
To get around this, you may configure an application to always run elevated.
