Remove show/hide group tree at inforview for cystal report

Hi there!
I have 2 copies of Inforview install on 2 computers.
The first one, is my local comp. The display of cyrstal report at dynamic viewer is ok.
However on my second comp. The viewer will default to show the group tree stucture. I have tried to set the configuration at web.config. But it is still displaying the group tree structure.
Anyone could assist me?
Thanks and Regards,
Joni

I have tried disabling the option "Show Preview Panel" (according to a screenshot I found, this option replaced the old "Create Group Tree" option) in Report Options, and that effectively eliminates the content of the group tree, however, the group tree panel still comes up and shows empty until it is hidden using the toolbar.
This is really annoying and I can't find any solution for it on the web. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks,
Joerg.

  • How to hide Group Tree in Crystal Report Server.

    Hi all visitors
    i have created one crystal report and my report use group to summary the amount of each day.
    after i use group to summary, i used text box cover the group. so my group can't click anything.
    After that i upload my report to crystal report server, when i viewed my report and when i click on Group Tree, it will show the list of group (group date in crystal report) and it also can click. I don't want to show the Group Tree in Crystal Report Server.
    Anybody know how to hide group tree in crystal report server?
    Best Regards,

    Are you talking custom application, or infoview?  If it is custom app, you would have to look at the setToolPanelViewType method.  if its infoview, no direct way to change this that i know of.

  • In Address Book, any way to Show/Hide groups from view in the "ALL" view?

    I have groups of contacts in Address Book (v4.0.4) that I plan to use in the future, but right now having to wade through and past all of their individual entries when I am scanning my contact list in the "All" group view. Is there any way to Show/Hide these sub-groups with a visibility check-box? The sub-group name would still be there in the group list (to remind me that it exists and make it visible if desired), but I would have a lot less clutter and scrolling the rest of the time.
    I know I can export groups in vCard format and re-import later, but a lot of my original custom fields for the contacts are lost in the process. Is there a 3rd-party plug-in? (Apple, are you working on something like this?)

    Hi Mike, My Address Book app is behaving correctly (maybe I'm not).
    I'm just saying there are times when I want to see "most" of my total collection of contacts, maybe just for the purpose of creating new groups at particular time and want to see at one time the pool of contacts I have to choose from. There are groups that I very seldom need to use, so it would be a way of putting those groups (and their contacts) into "cold storage."
    I also may want to do searches from among most of my contacts, but also I may want to eliminate certain other particular groups from that search pool. That is the reason for wanting to do the "Show/Hide" thing. It is a way of displaying a logical "ALL" minus "SOME", which is the basically same thing as displaying the logical "UNION" of more than one group of contacts at one time. Can this be done?
    Is there a way to open alternate address books, from within the same Address Book app (and logged in as the same user)? That would allow me to truly isolate my work list from my home list.
    One answer to this occurs to me: I could create different log-ins on my PowerBook, and build the different variants of the Address Book I might want into each login and use Fast User Switching to get into each list of contacts. That seems like a lot of extra work . . . and logging in. Any suggestions?

  • Hide Group tree

    When I run the report I could see the Group tree window as well as parameter window. By default it is selecting the Group tree window. Is there any option in crystal reports 2008 to make the parameter window as default instead of Group tree window ? Also, Is there any option to just hide the Group tree window ?  I appreciate your help.
    Thanks,
    Sukumar Reddy

    If you want the "Parameters" section to show up by default in the preview panel then you will have to make at least one parameter visible and editable in the "Viewer".  The setting is the first setting on each parameter "Show on (Viewer) Panel" which is by default Do not Show when creating new parameters.  The Group tree section will still be available though.
    In Crystal 2008 you can hide the preview panel by unchecking the "Show Preview Panel" under File - Report Options.  I don't know how to turn off individual sections in the preview panel.

  • CRVS2010 - Hide Group Tree and Parameter Panel

    When I load a report into the CrystalReportsViewer:
    crViewer.ViewerCore.ReportSource = document;
    the viewer show by default the Group Tree and the Parameter Panel.
    I don't want this, I want by default these panels not shown.
    Is it possible?
    I tried with:
    crViewer.ViewerCore.ToggleGroupTree = false;
    crViewer.ViewerCore.ToggleParameterPanel = false;
    crViewer.ViewerCore.ToggleSidePanel = false;
    but it doesn't work. And I don't want to use the ToggleSidePanelButton.
    Thanks.

  • Dynamically show/hide pages in a workset for special users at runtime

    Hi all,
    I want to create a workset that contains pages for different countries. The portal users should only be able to see the countries where they do business. I also would like masterdata from R/3 to drive the display of content on the portal.
    - Is there a way how I could dynamically show/hide certain pages of the workset for the specific users?
    - Would this showing/hiding of pages affect the workset for all users or only the instance for the specific user?
    - Would there be a difference when I want to dynamically show/hide iviews in a page instead of showing/hiding pages in a workset?
    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi Timo,
    Check out the article located at:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/ep/portal_content/filtering role and workset content.htm
    It talks to exactly what you're trying to do.  I'd imagine you could extend this simplistic example to have the service pull the users country from his/her master record in R/3 and set their filtering expression accordingly.
    Hope this helps,
    Marty

  • Show Purchasing group Field in UI for Create Limit Item

    Hello All,
                  Do you if there is a way without modifying the templates to show Purchasing Group in UI for Create Limit Items in SRM 4.0 ( Classic Scenario)?
    -thanks in advance
    Shilpa

    Hi
    <b>Yes. Without modifying the HTML Templates of the Internet Service - BBPSC01,
    This is possible by adding a custom field at the Shopping cart item level in the structure. There is no such limitation on the number of customer fields added.</b>
    <u>Refer to the following SAP OSS notes</u>
    <b>Note 458591 - User-defined fields: Preparation and use
    Note 672960 - User-defined fields 2</b>
    Refer this link for details ->
    <b>Add custom field in SC -Item Level
    Which SRM version are you using ? What's your Business requirement ?
    <u>Incase you want to transfer some data from catalog to Shopping cart.. you can get this done by using BADI.
    Try <b>BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI
    BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI</b>
    using SE18 Transaction.</u>
    Do let me know.

  • Show Group Tree always enabled when a report opens in CrystalReportsViewer

    <p>I&#39;m not sure if this is a "feature" of the crystalreportsviewer11 stuff, or if I did something wrong in my jsp/report, but whenever I open a report the Group Tree is open, and it&#39;s rather annoying that I have to close it every time I open a report. From CR 2008 Developer Help file:
    The new parameter panel in Crystal Reports 2008 lets users set static and dynamic parameters and refresh the report. Users can also interactively format and filter report data. The parameter panel is available from the tool panel. You can access the parameter panel by clicking the Toggle Interactive Parameters button on the toolbar or programmatically by using the following code:
    Visual Basic Copy Code
    myCrystalReportViewer.ToolPanelView = ToolPanelViewType.ParameterPanel
    C# Copy Code
    crystalReportViewer.ToolPanelView = ToolPanelViewType.ParameterPanel;
    You can hide the Toggle Interactive Parameters button programmatically by using the following code:
    Visual Basic Copy Code
    myCrystalReportViewer.ShowParameterPanelButton = False
    C# Copy Code
    crystalReportViewer.ShowParameterPanelButton = false;
    The panel displays all parameters that have been set to Editable or Read only. If a parameter is set to Editable, you can add, delete or modify parameter values by clicking the Show the Advanced dialog box button. If the parameter values are modified but not applied, an asterisk will appear beside the parameter field to indicate that the values were not applied to the report.
    Note
    If the parameter accepts custom values, you can directly edit the parameter value in the text box on the parameter panel.
    A database icon will appear adjacent to data parameters. When you modify the value of a data parameter, the report refreshes and accesses the database to make the corresponding changes. When you modify the value of a non-data parameter, the report is formatted or filtered based on saved data within the report. The report does not access the database.

  • Show/Hide Group in SSRS 2012 Chart

    Hi,
    How can i hide/show chart category group in SSRS 2012?
    Thanks in advance
    Paramesh G

    Hi Paramesh G,
    According to your description, you want to know how to control visibility of horizontal axis labels, right?
    When we create a chart, tick marks and labels are displayed by default on axes. You can adjust the way that they are displayed by using major and minor tick marks and labels. To eliminate clutter in a chart, you can display fewer axis labels or tick marks
    on the horizontal (category) axis by specifying the intervals at which you want categories to be labeled, or by specifying the number of categories that we want to display between tick marks. We can also set labels to be hidden. To achieve your goal, please
    refer to the following steps:
    In design surface, right-click x-axis and open Horizontal Axis Properties dialog box.
    Click Labels in left pane, check Hide axis labels check box.
    Click OK to save the settings.
    The screenshot is for your reference:
    If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.
    Thanks,

  • Remove Show/Hide Filters link in UWL

    Hello,
    In the standard delivered UWL iview there is a link in the upper right hand corner that toggles the filters on and off. We want to remove this link. Does anyone know how to do it? We have checked iview properties and the UWL XML config file and can't find anything relevant.
    Thanks in advance....

    Hi All,
    I just tested the Allow Filters on the UWL iview parameter and this works fine.  Have you managed to do this?  Be sure too that you checking no for allowed filters on the correct iview.

  • Query on Grouping Tax Base Balances for Italian Report Customer/Vendor List

    Hello Experts,
    We are implementing the new italian report for customer/vendor List as per Note : 1090857 - Customer/Vendor List for Italy:New Legal Requirement (2007)
    This requires a customizing in Table/View V_T007K(Group Tax Base Balances) where we need to group the tax codes.
    Based on what logic is this table required to be maintained and what considerations need to be taken care of when mainting the tax codes for each column.
    Anyone who has maintained this table or who is ware of the procedure and logic of maintainance , could kindly advise on the same.
    Points would be awarded for any helpful answer.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rajeshwari

    Hello,
    Thanks for your answer,
    On what basis should the grouping be done.
    Is it only based on the tax codes types?
    or is there any specific rule.
    has anyone maintained this grouping for a Italian company code before?
    Points would be awarded immediately for any help in this.

  • How to remove logo, refresh, export buttons on InfoView for Crystal Report

    Hi Experts.
    I uploaded a CR on the infoview.
    When I open it on infoview, I'd like to remove SAP logo, export and refresh buttons on the top control panel of Crystal Report Viewer.
    I know we can setup Security on this Crystal Report. However, we have thousands reports, I can't setup one by one.
    Is there a easy method to achieve this requirement like update default.css or delete logo file.

    Still need this question answered and then I'll be in Crystal Reports utopia!
    So, here's my report from the field so far:
    Edited toolbar.js files (every single one I could find) -- nothing changed
    Edited web.config files (every one that had appSettings that should have had an effect) -- nothing changed.
    So... what's the point of all of these web.config files with code like this:
        <!-- "true" or "false" value determining whether a refresh button will be shown. -->
        <add key="viewrpt.refresh" value="false"/>
    ...when changing that value to false has no effect on anything?!?!  It appears that everything has been encapsulated into: CrystalDecisions.Web.UrlReporting.ViewRptPage with an httpHander so you basically have no control over anything any more!  Am I right about this?  Is there any way to override the defaults and remove the buttons you don't want from the viewer?!  Help!
    Thanks, I'll update if I find a hack or something around this.

  • Hide the 'group tree' in crystal reports 2008

    Hey Guys,
    Please help me out.
    I need to hide the group tree which automatically shoots on the crystal report after execution.
    This is what i need to see. Only the report data (After report execution) i do not need to see the group tree under the tab 'main report' which appears on the left had side of the report.
    I know that in the previous version there was an option which would hide the group tree option under File>Report Option> uncheck Group tree.
    But there is no option here in CR 2008.
    Is there a code i need to insert somewhere in the report??
    Regards,
    Harvino

    Hi Chinmay,
    Thanks for your quick reply, I was late on the reply because I had a load of other things to do. Sorry for that....
    I am aware that we can click the toggle panel to remove the group tree.
    But a user wants to hide the group tree on 1st run,,,, that is causing the problem.....
    I cant seem to find an option we can disable group tree for the user, so that he may not view the group tree..
