? Remove Smart Tags from Multiple photos in PSE 8

I need to remove the Smart Tags assigned to about 1,000 photos without removing the other tags (People, Places, etc) assigned to the photos (each photo has 2-3 tags). Is there a way to do this as a group or batch? I can't believe that PSE would make you do this one-by-one. Thanks.

Hmm, I just tried it again and it removed all the Smart Tags from the selected photos. Most likely, you left-clicked at some point, causing the selection to move to just the photo being clicked. So try exactly this:
1. Edit > Select All.
2. Right-click one of the selected thumbnails.
3. Choose Remove Keyword Tag.

How can I remove people tags from MULTIPLE images in Organizer 13? The strategy for removing keyword tags does not work. It appears that keyword tags and People tags are considered something completely different in 13. I highlight multiple images, right click, and under keyword tags it says there are no keyword tags. There does not appear to be an option for people or other tags. Can anyone help? It is going to take literally hundreds of hours for me to do this one photo one tag at a time. ??

That CSS is complete nonsense. The correct way to remove borders from around links is here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/417110.
If you want to get rid of dotted lines, they are almost certainly caused by the outline property. However, outlines around links are there for a reason: it provides a visual "you are here" clue to people who navigate the web with the keyboard, either through preference or because of disability. You shouldn't remove the dotted outline without providing a different visual clue.

Remove geo-tag from iPhone photos when sending via Mail

I sometimes send companies/people photos I've taken with my iPhone. It is convenient to take them, and send them.
However, I've noticed that the geo-tag is not stripped from the photos when sent via Mail.app
Technically, one could figure out where I live with it — not comfortable with that. I like the feature for my collection in iPhoto, but nowhere else. Facebook strips it out (smartly).
Any suggestions apart from using 3rd party apps?

Thanks guys, but I know I can disable it for future pictures — but I want to keep it for most pictures, but also feel safe that when I'm sharing them, that this information is stripped out.

Removing an object from a photo in PSE 10

I have a photo where there is a bucket sitting on the sidewalk. I cant seem to get rid of the bucket in this picture. I have looked for a tutorial but theyare either from a different version of PSE or they are for taking an object out of one picture and inserting in another, which is not what I want to do!
Can someone please help me? (see photo below)

First I added a Levels adjustment layer to temporarily lighten the picture so I could see what I was doing.
Here I indicate the 3 distinct sections of the sidewalk.
Used the Rectangular Marquee tool to select this portion of the red section.
Copied/pasted the selection to a new layer and used the Move tool to reposition it over the bucket.
Further resized the repositioned to get this result:
Did the same for the yellow and blue portions (new layer for each).
Went back into the adjustment layer and darkened the picture. I thought it looked better a bit lighter than the original. Here I show the various layers.
If you want I can post the final version for you to download.

Removing one adjustment from multiple photos

There's got to be a betta way! This is in v1.5....
I've cropped over 100 photos and applied the basic monochrome adjustment to them. Now I want to undo the monochrome adjustment. Puleeze tell me I don't have to go and undo the monochrome adjustment on each photo separately!
The Remove Adjustments command undoes ALL adjustments including cropping. Am I really going to have unclick the damned monochrome box for each photo (and if so, is this silliness fixed in v2.0?

Don't feel too bad, it could be worse, 100 images is not that many. And with most image editors you would have to redo all the edits.

Creating tags to organize photos in PSE 12

I just got a new computer and installed PSE 12. I want to organize my photos with my own tags, and can't find a way to do that with the new program.
Also, I don't want to send my photos to the cloud.
HELP!!!

You need to spend some time with Help> Getting Started. You can create many categories and sub-categories in your tags, the Organizer fixes you refer to are still there - click Instant Fix at bottom right, and if you convert your existing catalog then all those existing tags will come across with them (although People, Places & Events are handled differently from 8 & 9. And you don't have to store anything in the cloud if you don't want to.

Remove XML tags from XML element in Oracle

I have a requirement where I have to remove all the xml tags from xml element with banks, currently I'm using replace 4 times to replace all different types of xml tags, performance is really bad. is there any better option to remove xml tags from xml data leaving the actual data. please find the example data below.

How to remove html tags from a column

Hi
Problem is this: I get a column with a comma separated list of id's and I can successfully parse these id's and use them elsewhere. BUT, occasionally there are html tags within that id list like this:
1082471,1237423<br xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" />
Is there a way to just automatically remove all tags from a column? Could do this with regex, but since there is no support, I don't know what to do.

If the HTML can be detected by a starting symbol like „<“, then you could use the following:

Here's some code I cooked up. I have created an object that processes code so that it can be incorporated directly into a project. There is some redundancy so that the it can be used in more than one way. Depending on your situation you might have to make the condition statement a little more sophisticated to catch stray ">" tags.
I have also included a Tester application.

I'm also having this problem. I'm using Flash Builder 4.6, AIR 3.4 and I've made a DLL (e.g. ExtensionDll.dll) which needs to call functions in another DLL (e.g. DllUsedByExtensionDll.dll) . I've made sure my ANE is working with the ExtensionDll.dll already, so there are no issues with my actionscript code or my ANE packaging or my DLL compilation. However, once I start calling functions from the other DLL, it starts throwing me Error #3500. Even if I call this function (e.g. abc()) in ExtensionDll.dll, but I never actually use the function from actionscript, and I call another function (e.g. def()) from actionscript, the Error #3500 still appears, so it does not seem to depened on the whether the code is used or not.

Why do you want to remove a t-code from all the roles. Are you no longer going to use the t-code. If this is the case then you can lock the transaction code in T-code SM01 so that no one can use it. But this would effect other users as well, it should only be locked if no one should use the particular T-code.
Another alternative is to write a program to remove the particular T-Code from the table AGR_TCODES where the relation ship between the role and t-code is stored.

You need an external editor for that kind of work.
In order of price here are some suggestions:
Seashore (free)
Graphic Coverter ($45 approx)
Acorn ($50 approx)
Photoshop Elements ($75 approx)
There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate.
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.

Remove HTML tags from a text area

Hi, here is my problem:
I have a form with a text area item; this item is “Display as Editor HTML standard”. So it is possible to enter formatted text with tags HTML. Then I save the text in a table. In the column the text maintain the HTML tags. Afterwards I can put the text in a report, and I can see the formatted text with the tags HTML interpreted.
But I need also to use that text for other aims, (i.e. sending it in a mail) with the html tags removed.
Is there any way to remove HTML tags from a text item?

Way to remove HTML tags from a page-scoped attribute using JSTL?

I'm using JSTL 1.2 with Tomcat 6.0.26. Does anyone know of a way to remove HTML tags from a page attribute, "${myExpr}". I would prefer a solution that uses JSTL only, but ultimately whatever gets the job done is fine with me.

I'm sorry, I don't understand your requirement. What do you mean by "remove HTML tags from a page attribute"?
If you are dealing with a value of an attribute, it is most likely a String, and should be treated as such. The best approach would probably be java coding.

How do you remove a person from a photo and repalce her with another person.

There are many tool and "tricks" to accomplish this manipulation. However, depending on the image one technique might be more appropriate than an other. And then there is the question of how to do it "skillfully". For example, the shadows in the person that is being substituted might be different than in the original image creating the obviously "photoshopped" look.
Doing an Internet search on your posting title brings up lots of examples.
