Remove the battery by myself?

Hi, my battery runs out for months and discover that the battery was inflate and is pressing the trackpad up. So I decided to remove the battery.  Question: Should work without the battery? It will affect something?.
I do this because I live in Peru and there is no apple support here, only resellers.
Srry for the bad english.

  • Updated to 4.4 and now my Bluetooth 'studders' when listening to music and a phone call. Yes I have reset the phone and removed the battery.

I just updated my Note 3 to 4.4.2. Since then when I listen to music or make a call on my Bluetooth my music and calls 'studders' and has some type of 'drop-outs' during the music and calls. This was not the case prior to the update.
Yes, I have power down the phone. Yes, I have removed the battery and restarted the phone. My Bluetooth headset is an LG 730. I tried listening to music on my other Bluetooth devices and they also 'studders' and has drop-outs during calls and music. I connected with a wired headset and the 'studdering' disappeared.
Is there a way to revert back to the previous 4.3 version of Android. I use my phone extensively for business and drive with it. The law for my state requires 'hands free' usage of my phone.

Unfortunately, I was forced to do a factory Reset. This wiped the device to a new state.
Afterwards all Blue-tooth, wi-fi and calls operated fine.
I would advise that you notify your customers that they would most likely have to do a Factory Reset once they update their device.
All contacts, pictures, data and applications were either lost or had to be reinstalled.

My MacBook Air 13' (2013) will occasionally start the fan at full blast, not connect to any wifi or detect any wifi, and will remove the battery icon from my menu bad as well as tell me there is no battery connected. How do I fix this? I have restarted my computer multiple times, **** it down, and ran a diagnostic test to tell me nothing is wrong and my computer is not running any applications. There is no reason for the fan to be on full blast! when I try to set the option to show my battery icon in the menu bar, it will automatically uncheck. How do I fix all of this?

Have you tried SMC and PRAM resets?

  • Small electric shocks, laptop refused to start until I remove the battery and put it back in.

    I own a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Series i7537T-5005sLV.
A short while ago I tried to power on my laptop but it didn't come on. I thought that the battery drained and I didn't notice however when I plugged in the power cord no lights came on. I decided to open up the laptop and remove the battery and put back the battery and try to power on the laptop. It came on after doing that and I saw lights again.
I also notice that after reseating the battery, the latency between pressing the power button and the laptop actually coming on is shorter. It is almost instantaneous. Before there was about a 1.5 seconds delay. (THIS COULD BE MY IMAGINATION THOUGH)
I also noticed that I got little "pinches" or small shocks when my skin comes in contact with the edge of the laptop, especially at the end of the palm rest area. The shocking sensation could be cause the hair on my hands as my skin brush along the edges of the laptop as I type. I say this because I've never experienced a shock touching anywhere else on the laptop and I never felt a shock while using the tips of my fingers to touch the edges.
One last thing I feel I should mention. Around the SD card slot area there is a small dent protruding outwards; barely noticeable. It was a brand new laptop and the seal on the box wasn't broken or tampered with so I am assuming that this was a manufacture's defect. One I was willing to overlook since the dent wasn't that bad and added some character to the laptop. However I am beginning to worry that the unit might be damaged and that is why I had the power issue.
The laptop is about two weeks old. I had to replace the first one because the display had horizontal waves running from top to bottom. Even in the BIOS. They were especially visible against gray backgrounds.
I don't want to have to return another one and I like the laptop but if it is unsafe to use then I'd rather send it back and keep my life.

    Hi Groudie,
I would suggest you to use the system in a work place or your friends place to check if issue reoccurs.

  • To switch the mac off i have to remove the battery...

My macbook is a 2007 model.
I unfortunately dropped sweet water on it. Of course i saw it hours later and it didn't work...
So i opened the machine, cleaned everything with clean water, then dried it with a hairdryer.
Once everything was dry, for sure, i reassembled the mac, but i have some problems now.
On the motherboard i pushed a black button, and it's impossible to unpush... i guess it's a kind of overcloaking ? Why can't it get unpushed ? So now the computer starts, but the keyboard doesn't work, and to switch the mac off i have to remove the battery...
Is it because of this button ? (couldn't get anything about it on the net...). Is it "just" because of the water ?
    Thanx in advance

i also have a safari issue outstanding for a couple of weeks and am now wondering if this is part of the issue?

  • Is it safe to always keep the PC plugged in after removing the battery pack?

As I'm not going to move my pc for some time, I have removed the battery pack and use the AC power instead.
But I would like to know whether its safe to keep it plugged into the AC 24/7? and does it consume energy or does it damage anything when the pc is switched off?

  • Is it true? Do I need to remove the battery?

Another post mentions the need to remove the battery when the laptop is on AC power  I hadn't heard this before.  Should I be removing the battery when I have it plugged in?  (Which is most of the time)

    Hi
When computer is connected to wall outlet it will charge the battery until 100%. Is it harmful to battery if it is kept at 100% charged for     long time.
This is now becoming an urban myth   Once upon a time it might have some basis in fact however with lithium-ion batteries it doesn't matter.  For a start, they are not constantly charged, as this would cause an explosion, so they charge to full and then the charging stops.
Some articles state it is best to keep battery at 40-50% when it is not to be used for long time. How to achieve when it is always     attached to the computer?
That's only required for long term storage when the battery isn't being used to help prevent it aging.
Lithium-ion batteries whether being used or not slowly degrade from the very first day they leave the factory, you might as well have it in the laptop even if you use the mains 99% of the time to get some benefit of an un-interruptible power supply rather than leave it in the box where it will age anyway.

  • Nokia E55 - How to remove the battery ?

Hello, I find it very difficult to remove the battery on my Nokia E55.
Am I missing something ? has somebody found a simple way to remove the battery in this kind of phone just with hands ?
    Thank you very much
    A.

I was searching for a method and while reading this I suddenly found a easier way.
While removing the back panel, go all the way after unlocking the latch almost flipping the whole back panel. This nudges the top left corner of the battery out of its slot.
    Hope it helps.

  • Want to reduce your MacBook temperature, remove the battery.

    From http://xlr8yourmac.com/
Want to reduce your MacBook temperature, remove the battery.
When we were testing V0.5 of SpeedIt we discover a strange behavior, if we remove the battery of our MacBook the temperature drop because the maximum operational frequency of the CPU become reduce to 1.0 Ghz.
We were investigating more on this, and we found why this happen, the SMC subsystem when battery is not detected, activate the Thermal Trip indicator and the CPU get into Thermal Throttle, reducing the frequency to 1.0 Ghz and minimum voltage.
You will find this and other "hidden features" with the documentation of the upcomming version of SpeedIt.
We decided to published this in advance because a user "no-one" write about this matter on the forums. He is a good tester we'll liek to take him in account . More information on the forums.
Apple Mac Intel SMC Firmware Update
We have been testing the lasted firmware update and the conclusions are:
    * The fans run at more revolutions always.
    * The Temperature drop more or less between 5 to 10 ºC
    * The voltage values of the CPU change.
    * The MacBook is cooler but more noise.
    * To get into sleep need a minimum of 5 seconds, after
    you close your lid.
    * Don't put in your bag until you hear that the fan
stop, some times the MacBook don't get into sleep.
More detailed report and data soon.

yeah its pretty ridiculous that an individual pays all that money for a machine that Apple continually trumpet to be better than a PC machine and then it falls down at these niggly little turns.
Other machines, can run at full speed with battery of, no ?
    Why is it ridiculous ?
If I use my unit for some hardcore music / video editing sessions, I will take it off the battery so Im not constantly charging / recharging the battery - is that ridiculous ?
Am I going to be pis%£% when my expensive machine, I paid mad dough for is going to perform like a snail as opposed to what it can really - YOU BET !

  • Will removing the battery format the drive?

    Hi,
My girlfriend has a Macbook unibody A1342. It was working fine until I updated it to mavericks. Noe the USB's don't work. So after trying everything (reset pram nvram etc etc) the only other option I can find is to remove the battery for about 60 seconds...then plug it back in again.
Will this mess her drive up? Will it mean I have to reinstall OSX?
I know it probably won't but I really wanted to double check first as I can't save anything from it to USB or external.
    Thanks!!!

Well none of the above has worked so far. I ordred a powered usb hub that still doesn't get recognised. The hub itself is fine as it works on my macbook pro and also a windows pc I tried it on.
The hub will light up without the external power (usb cable only) when plugging it into either usb port on the macbook a1432. So this tells me there's definitely power getting in there. The macbook just doesn't show anything or detect anything plugged into it even with external power.
    The iPhone doesn't charge either.
This is driving me crazy. All my girlfriend want's to do is be able to sync her new iPhone to her itunes so she can put music on it and back it up. Wifi option isn't optional at the moment as the iPhone has never been synced to this particular computer.
    Thanks

  • CAMILEO P10 - How to remove the battery ?

    Hello,
How can i remove the battery from my CAMILEO P10 ?
I wanna use two batterys, but can't remove the first :(
    PLS HELP !
    Thanks in advance !

    Hi
The battery is placed at the bottom of the camera near the SD card slot.
It should not be very tricky to remove the battery.
You need to push out the cover which secures the battery bay in order to get access to the battery. Then press the battery inwards to release it.
