Remove the Iwatch app

I have no plans on getting an I watch   I can't remove the app from my phone screen when I can remove other apps. How do I do this

..ok..
video I first saw and followed the steps - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSyX_0hVA_Y
this video has a second method - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qko-OSXzrbc
If it's not deleted or removed, where is it; or is just the icon gone?
Also doesn't show up in Apple Store app.. anywhere?

  • How do I remove the watch app from iOS

I just updated my iOS and now have a watch app icon I can not remove.
I don't want it there. I don't want an apple watch. I will not be buying an apple watch. It's a waste of memory on my device.
My phone is not an advertisement space for the marketing of apple's products. I feel it's crossing a line now with the watch app.
How do I remove this app from my iphone?

You cannot remove the Watch app. It is a core app like Health, Weather, Compass, etc. Move it to the last page of your Home screens, or put it in a folder if you don't want to see it.

  • How do i delete or remove the Tips app and the health app that apple added to my phone on the last update 8.0.2?

How do i remove the Tips app and the Health app that apple added to my iphone on the last update? Update 8.0.2? I didn't want these added to my phone. I have to remove apps every time there is an update. After the phone is updated I reinstall the apps I removed. After 8.0,2 there was not enough room for me to reinstall my apps because they added the Tips app and the health app. How do I remove them? When you hold your figure on the apps they added, X's pop up on all of the apps i've installed, but not on the ones that come on the iPhone and the ones that they added on this last update. Please help.

They force you to buy health insurance these days and now apple forces you to keep spyware apps on your phone.
Oh, knock off the fearmongering. None of those apps are spyware. Health stores all of its data on the phone. It will only back it up to your computer if you do an encrypted back up. The only data it collects on its own are steps, stairs and distance traveled. Anything else in it is information you've explicity authorized it to collect from anothr app you've installed. You're not required to put anything in Passbook, Podcasts, iBooks or Newstand.

  • Removing the social app 1.5 from N8 Belle

How can I remove the Social app version 1.5 from my N8 Belle. Is there a component catalogue with descriptions what to delete in program manager?
I don't need Social/Twitter/Facebook on my business phone especially when these apps are modifying my addressbook.
    Michael

You can go into Settings -> Installations -> Already installed and remove everything Social as I did
But if you do this then you will always be "warned" that you have an update waiting for you!

  • Can I remove the compass app?

The golfing powers that be have determined we can no longer use our Golf GPS apps in competition because Apple have a pre-installed compass on the phone. Hopefully if the golfers generate enough fuss about this then Apple will release a software update that allows its removal. Its not rocket science Apple... but it is already causing a major talking point.

Removing the compass app would not stop the compass working in Golf GPS apps. The compass is a hardware feature with software to view its output. The phone needs to know which way it is pointing to provide an accurate GPS view.

My problem started after installing "smartsync app" which is supposed to sync my phone with the profilepage photos of my friends in facebook. All my apps crashed after using them for awhile. While using my apps, they will black out after a little while and the phone returns to the starting page. I have removed the smartsync app but my phone still behaves the same way. At the same time the dates that accompany my messages changed to another language. How can these be rectified?

Eek.  Sounds like something in the app caused some serious software issues.  You can try a hard reset, but I'd imagine you're probably going to have to do an iTunes restore to get it running right again.

  • Completely disable or remove the Mac App Store

    Hello,
I have several Macintosh computers which are on an unmanaged network, however I need to control what applications are installed on these machines without having to dig through Parental Controls on each machine. My question is simple: *how do I go about disabling or removing the Mac App Store from these machines after updating to 10.6.6 properly ?* -- avoiding the update itself isn't a solution as all future updates are likely to have it bundled in as well.
Here's what I've tried so far:
    1. Restricting access to App Store.app via CHMOD in the Terminal - messy and would prefer not to have to go this route.
    2. Trashing App Store.app entirely - seems to reset the "App Store" link in the Apple menu back to "Mac OS X Downloads..." and does almost what I want except when opening unknown file types, the dialog asks you if you want to search the App Store at which point you hit the button and it does nothing. Seems a bit hacky/messy.
I was hoping there would be some sort of toggle for this via a PLIST or something of the sort instead of resorting to deleting system files etc.
    Cheers,
    John

If you have a computer lab or some similar environment where this app is inappropriate, just delete it. That's all you have to do. Yes, that means that the Search App Store button won't work when opening an unknown file type, but that's a minor issue that can be explained away easily by just telling people who encounter that issue that the App Store is disabled.
As to everyone else (not John S.A.) who does not have a good reason to disable it and has some kind of aesthetic or ethical gripe about it... quit the baby-whining! Geez, if you don't like it, you don't have to use it! Delete it or don't, but quit crying about it! You can still purchase and install applications the same way you did before the App Store. Apple is not forcing you to use it, they are not forcing you to enter any personal information.
I really don't get the whole "you get what the manufacturer wants you to have" nonsense. It is an option. Let's keep some perspective here, folks.

  • Can i remove the an app once placed in newstand?

can i remove the an app once placed in newstand?

Tap and hold the app until all apps begin to wiggle. you should see an X in teh upper left corner of the app. Tap that.
If you appear to be unable to delete any apps, it may be that restrictions have been set on the iPad preventing app deletion. Open the Settings app > General > Restrictions to check that.

  • Permanently remove the installed app

    HI,
      i) Even though I removed some of the downloaded APPs I am still receiving their updates even though I had disabled mostly. How can I permanently remove them from my Phone.
    Thanking you
    Prasad

When you have deleted them, does it come up with 'Do you still want this APP to be in Notification / Game Centre', if so you should have clicked no.
If it didnt, install it again, then un-intall it again REMOVING everything.
    Good Luck

  • Remove the Good App

I downloaded the Good for Enterprise app on to my iPhone 5 to receive work emails. Doing so disabled my capability to take screen shots.  I want to remove the app entirely.  But I can't figure out how to remove it from my profile.  When I go to settings>general>profile, it is still showing up.  How do I get it removed from settings?

On your iPhone tap and hold on the app until it comes up with a an X in a circle on it. Tap the app again to remove it and click on the button at the bottom to exit that mode.
Or, connect your iPhone to your Mac and launch iTunes.  In the App section for the iPhone select and delete the app and sync with your iPhone.

  • Remove the Tips app

OK, I got rid of the Podcasts app, but how do I get rid of the Tips app from the main screen? I don't want it; don't need it...it's just useless clutter.

hold it till I wiggles than drag it onto another app you never use name the folder something like 'Not Used' and drag that to the last page out of you way.

  • How do I remove the photos app ?

I have recently installed the photos app , instant dislike ... iPhoto was poor , this is worse , how can I delete it ?

Yes, you can also hide iPhoto. In the past, moving it would have stopped it being updated, but now there is no more support for it (further updates) it really does not matter where you hide it if you don't want it.

  • Can Apple technical guys help me removing the "waiting" app icon?

    My IPhone4's system is ios4.1.
    My scenario (WIFI enabled):
    1. open app store and select an app to install.
    2. the wifi disconnected, so I open my computer to download this same app from itunes
    3. connect IPhone to computer and sync, successed
    4. open my IPhone, the app icon still displayed "waiting..."
After searching the solutions on google, got that most of the users will remove such icon by hard shut down IPhone and power on again.
But for me, this solution does not work. And everytime I open app store on the IPhone, this app will be displayed "INSTALLED" already.
How can I remove this stupid icon? Can I delete some files on IPhone directly to remove this icon?
    Any suggestion is appreciate, thanks!

If you know what this app is this is what has worked for me:
Uninstall the app and Sync your phone. Then add the app back again.
For example: This happened when I downloaded Scrabble. So I unchecked Scrabble and synced my phone. Then I checked it again and synced again. Once I did that the Waiting box disappeared.
This seems to be happening every time I try to download an app directly to my phone now, though. Even if the Wi-Fi connection is good. It's getting frustrating.

  • This may be more of an OS issue than a Curve issue but here goes. How do you remove the installed apps list on my 8530's AppWorld?

I have never purchased any apps yet but I have tried quite a few and now I'm stuck with this list of more than 20 apps listed in the Uninstalled section of my 8530's Blackberry App World.
As they are ALL free apps that I tried and DON'T installed on my phone for one reason or another, I would like to remove any existence of these apps from my phone and/or my App World Account.
    Any suggestions would be welcome.

What Part of 'Evil' do you not understand?

    Hello,
What you ask cannot be done. The AppWorld servers forever remember every app you download to your BB, free or not. Consider the alternative...if those were paid apps and RIM did not retain the purchase record, then when you want the app back later, you'd have to pay again...not a good situation I'd think.
And, before you say it...I agree...I think that they should be able to differentiate between free and fee-based apps. But, they don't. That's just the way it works.
    Good luck!
