Remove toolbar background color

There is a low opacity white color showing behind toolbar (extends behind URL, search and to the far right), how do I make it fully transparent so it does not show? .toolbarbutton-1 changes the color behind the buttons but does not affect the rest of the bar.

  • Removed rule, background color still there

I removed a message rule that set the background color of the messages to orange. Then I deleted the rule because it didn't filter the right messages but the background color is still there. I can't find any way to manually change the color of the messages. I don't know what else to do. Any ideas?

Open the color picker with "Show Colors" from Mail's "Format" menu. Select a message from the list. Click on the color you want it to be in the color picker, or drag a color from the picker to a message in Mail's list.

  • Removing the background color of composition while rendering to AVI format

    Hello,
I am wondering if some one could help. Appears to be a simple issue. However, I am not sure how to accomplish this.
I created a new composition withe black background. Then created a couple of layers in which I have a simple animation of globe spinning. I rendered that composition (with RGB+alpha channel) into an AVI (windows) file. But when I play that movie in the Media player the black background is still there. How to get rid of it. I want to use that video clip in presentation layered over something else. Hence I do not want the background color. Thanks in advance for the help.

    >But when I play that movie in the Media player the black background is
    >still there. How to get rid of it.
Alpha channels are merely transparency information or, more correctly, an information on how to copy and blend the background pixels with the foreground to get the illusion of transparency. It's still tied to the foreground pixels. There is no such thing as a pixel with no color consisting of thin air. Any program that does not interpret the Alpha channel will correctly show the foreground color, which is the composition background color if rendered from AE. MediaPlayer does not care about Alpha as do most other such tools. It's as simple as that. If you really need to use the transparency, you will have to load it into a program that actually accesses the Alpha channel info - such as AE.

  • Remove a background color for transparency

    Greetings,
I have an image with flattened layers and is a PNG image for the web.  I need to select only the white background and remove it for transparency.

Use the magic eraser tool if there is no white adjacent to the background .  You will want to choose contiguous.  If there is white in the main part of the photo adjacent to the background, use a selection tool to choose where to apply the magic eraser.

  • Stop Automatic Removal of Background Color for .mov files

Hi guys, I'm a rookie to Adobe Premier, but I have a 3.2 ghz processor and 14 GB of memory.  I am trying to edit together a project I am animating in Maya.  I am sequencing TARGA image files into .MOV files with Quicktime Pro and importing the .MOVs into Premier Elements.  The blue sky in the background of each clip is automatically replaced with black when I import and/or render it with Premier.  The sky is blue when I play individual clips in Quicktime or other players, but Premier (and Final Cut) always turns it black as though I enabled a chroma key, though I did not.  I have considered just putting in a blue background matte, but then I lose the smooth gradient of the sky.  Could it have something to do with the alpha channel?  Does anyone have any tips?  Thank you very much!

It sounds like you're indavertantly Videomerging your clips.
When you add your video to your project's timeline, you quite likely see either a pop-up window offering to Smart Fix your video and/or a pop-up window offering to apply Videomerge. Make sure you do not select the Videomerge option.
If you're not seeing this box, you may have turned on the option to Always Videomerge.
To turn this off, go to Edit/Preferences and check the option to Show All Do Not Show Messages. Then, next time you add a clip and you see the Videomerge option, select No and then click the Do Not Show option to permanently turn this automatic feature off.
Lots more information on stuff like this in my books as well as in my 8-part Basic Training tutorial series at Premiere Elements support site Muvipix.com.

  • How do I get rid of background color in shortdesc

Every time I remove the background color from the short.description paragraph tag, it comes back when I reopen FrameMaker. I don't want any background colors in my short descriptions.

    Ah .. FM10 and DITA 1.2 .. too bad, you're in for a bit of a chore.
    The 1.2 apps are here .. AdobeFrameMaker10\Structure\xml\DITA_1.2\
Unfortunately, there are lots of them, and it's not immediately clear how to approach things. Opening an XML file in Frame requires a structured application in order to define the valid document model and to apply the proper formatting. The formatting is applied by an EDD, which defines the mapping from elements and associated styles which live in the template (the EDD itself is embedded in the template as well). The structured applications are defined in the structapps.fm file (of which there are two). One of these can be seen when you choose the Structure Tools > Edit Application Definitions file (this lives in the user's "app data" area), but another is at AdobeFrameMaker10\Structure\structapps.fm (this is the "core" structapps file). The two files define the available structure applications, any definitions in the user's file override those in the other file (I'm pretty sure).
So .. when you open an XML file, Frame scans the structapps files for matching doctypes, if only one is found, that app is used. If multiple matching doctypes are found, you are presented with a dialog that lets you choose from the available apps. If you didn't select an app when opening the file, you'll need to look in the structapp files to see which one was used for your file. The root element in your file defines the doctype (as well as the Public ID). If this is a "task" topic, you'd look in the structapp files for matching apps that support the "task" doctype (if you're using DITA 1.2 you'll be looking for a DITA 1.2 task .. I'm not totally clear on how FM differentiates between the two). In my installation the DITA 1.2 definitions are in the core structapps file, but it could be in either place (or both).
Once you locate the structure app definition, it will have nodes that define the Template, the DTD, the ReadWriteRules, and other things. You're just looking for the template though. If you're using a "task", for DITA 1.2 that's likely to  be the DITA_1.2_task structure application .. the template is located at ..
         $STRUCTDIR\xml\DITA_1.2\app\technicalContent\template\task.template.fm
where "$STRUCTDIR" is the location of the FrameMaker\Structure folder (or possibly defined differently in the maker.ini .. but that's a different issue).
Editing this one file will affect the formatting of future task topics you open. You'll have to do the same thing in the other corresponding topic type templates to affect all of the topics.
In previous versions of Frame, it used the "ditabase" model for authoring and publishing. This encapsulates all of the models in one file making it much easier to maintain. This model is more parallel to the DITA model, but will be a real nightmare for people to customize. I'm not going to begin to try and explain how you'd clone these apps to make your own, although you can read a document written for DITA-FMx and DITA 1.1 that gives you the fundamental process ..
         http://docs.leximation.com/dita-fmx/1.1/?ditafmx_cloningtapps.html
I'm hoping that I've explained this correctly .. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it myself.
    Cheers?

  • Email background color selection - can't locate the option!

    Hi all,
I have a BB 8830 running OS 4.2.2.148 on Verizon. I use the application BES Mailbox so I have my work BES email seperated from my personal Roadrunner email. Some time ago, I found a way to change the background color of email messages (one color for BES, a different color for the Roadrunner). Well, I'm sick of that now but I can't for the life of me figure out how to change/remove the background colors! Can any of you expert BB users help me out?
    Thanks,

  • The toolbar displays File, Edit, View, etc. print too small & barely able to read. How to enlarge print. Also background color of toolbars hard to read. It is black. make larger?

The Menu Bar, Roboform Bar in general all toolbars the print is too small and barely able to read. Please tell me how to enlarge the print. Also, the background color is black and hard to read. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Use this extension to adjust the font size for the user interface:
*Theme Font & Size Changer: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer/
Increase the String pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx from 1.0 to 2.0 in 0.1 or 0.05 steps to adjust the size of all fonts and other elements in Firefox.<br />
In current Firefox versions this pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements (user interface and web pages) more precisely.
You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages if the above steps made the text too large.
    *Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/

  • Strange background color of an external toolbar

I use Windows (7) Classic look.
    - When tabs are in title bar, Roboform toolbar has a strange blueish background color. How can I fix it? (background: -moz-dialog; doesn't help).
    Thank you.

Hi, does this issue only appear in Firefox or also in other applications? Did this issue appear after an Firefox update? Probably it's related to your video/graphics driver.

  • How to remove background color behind submit button?

    Hey there...
I have customised my submit button using CSS and for some reason a grey background color is still showing up... I have used PNG files with a transparency which is how I can see the background color... I have been looking every where to figure out how to take the grey out from under the images... can some one please help...?
The images are placed using "backgroud-image" in the class "cat_button"
Link to an example is here... http://svx0.businesscatalyst.com/pages/contact
    Thanks...
    Sean

    Hi Liam...
Thanks for the response ... but I am aware that the images I placed are grey...
I mean that their is a darker grey color under the images...!!
..the images have rounded corners with an alpha transparency and in each corner there shouldn't be any color other than the main background... body, container background...?
If you look at the image I have attached... you can see that the corners ... and even all around the button there is a darker grey which I can't find where it is coming from...?
    Thanks...

  • Footer now floating in middle of page and no background color

    Hello all,
Been working on this for days with no luck. I hope someone can spot the silly mistake, because I know it has to be something silly but it's driving me round the bend! The page has always been just fine until I recoded part of the body (the four columns with titles, photos, and text) to help with 508 compliance. Since then, the orange footer that was firmly at the bottom has started floating half way up the page and the background orange color has disappeared.
I've gone through my code line by line, marking off each beginning and ending div tag and everything is fine there. Below, is a screenshot of the lower half of the page showing how the footer should look.
Here is a screenshot of how it looks offline right now:
as you can hopefully see, the footer has lost it's orange background and is sitting halfway up the page.

What I found after taking out the heights from the text areas is that I was left with uneven text column lengths (alternating beige areas). So I created a repeatable jpg with the same alternating beiges and put it as the background of the bodyArea tag. Again, if there is a better way, please let me know!
A repeating background image to 'fake' equal height columns is perfectly ok.
    It won't work IF your page is responsive but it isn't so no problem. If it were responsive a better solution would be to take advantage of the css property display: table; and display: table-cell;
In reference to your footer background color not showing I would assume you have floated items within the footer container. If so then you need to clear those floated items which allows the footer container to wrap itself around the floated items inside it.
You would do this by using css - overflow: hidden; - on the parent container which has the floats inside it.
