Remove underline folders

Hi,
How could remove the default underline of the folders? imagine it as a link to the folder is displayed by default but I would not show the underline. can you help me?

Try to change the resource renderer settings for your layout and remove the contentLink addition.
In the system configuration>knowledge management> user interface> settings > resource renderer
example:
rnd:iconrnd:displayname(contentLink))rnd:action,rnd:description
I'm not sure it will still behave as a Link. Check for additions as Link if not.

Removing Public Folders after migration from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013

Recently we migrated from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013. We did not migrate Public Folders and are retiring them from Exchange altogether. I shut Exchange 2007 off for a couple of weeks to ensure 2013 functions properly and it does so we're
ready to decommission Exchange 2007. I was able to remove all the mailbox databases without a glitch. Using the EMC I click to remove the Public Folder database from Exchange 2007 and get the following message:
Error: The public folder database "server\storage group - Public Folders\ Public Folder Database" contains folder replicas. Before deleting the public folder database, remove the folders or move the replicas to another public folder database.
Any help appreciated.

If you run the following command does it come back with any public folders?
Get-PublicFolderStatistics -Server "SERVERNAME" | fl
If nothing comes back you can follow this guide to manually remove the public folder database (at your own risk) http://haythamalex.wordpress.com/2011/11/24/how-to-force-exchange-server-public-folder-removal/

How do I remove the "folders" attatched to the bookmark names in the bookmarks toolbar?

Hello -
Though I understand that Firefox is not Safari, a browser I have been using since its' introduction and now switching to Firefox with the ongoing issues I have with Safari, there is one thing that is bothersome for me with Firefox and the bookmarks bar.
On this bar, I am unable to find a way to remove the folders that are attached to the left of each bookmark on this bar - there is no option to delete (or have) this as an option. I have imported all of my bookmarks and bookmark folders from Safari and they all fit on the bar if these additional folders are not present. This goes along as well with the bookmarks bar addition to the Firefox browser that is at the right end of the bar, which I would prefer not be there as well - this information can be found in the "bookmarks" drop down at the top of the screen on the Mac.
Is there a way (I hope) to remove these folders that sit to the left of the bookmarks, in addition to removing the bookmarks information tab that is located to the end right of the bar (w/o me going into the code for the program and attempting to figure it out on my own)?

Can't Remove Underlines in PDF/ Alternating back and Forth!

Hello All,
I'm preparing a document that goes out to the entire Rogue Valley
in Southern Oregon, about 15 towns in the form of 4,000 printed
documents. I'm behind schedule and ran into a little problem when
editing.
1st, this file used to be an Excel file which no longer exists. All the
text in my PDF document, are contained in boxes.
I was just about finished and adding some details, (underlining addresses
to offset 1 meeting schedule from the next), when somehow all my text
got underlined.
I thought, ohhh a headache but, I'll highlight all text, click the underline
button to reverse the effect, and then start underlining individual parts
again. However, when I tried to do this Adobe Acrobat XI Pro would
alternate and underline some text while removing it from others, back
and forth with no absolute method of removing underlines.
It seems to me that there would be a command to remove all underlines
regardless of the circumstance?? What the heck, please help?????

All my mailboxes are over and the new server is working as I want it to. The problem has come when trying to un-install the 2007 server. I get the following error:

I've gone round google at least 3 times now reading posts about moving the mailboxes and force-able removing them but nothing works and the folders remain. Below is what I get when trying to follow the standard process of moving them.

If you can confirm the PF's have been replicated properly and rehomed to the Exchange 2010 Server then you can just manually remove the Ex2007 PF store, I have had to do this a few times so I could just get the Ex2007 uninstall to proceed.
In ADSIEdit, go to Configuration, Configuration, Services, Microsoft Exchange, FirstOrganization, Administrative Groups, Exchange Administrative Group, Servers, Servername, Information Store, First Storage Group. Then on the right hand pane, highlight

Ignore boilerplate.css and leave it as it is. You should create your own style like this:

Remove empty folders revisited

Hi,
A while back I did start using this to remove empty folders inside a download folder ( thanks tot Bob for the time delay )
/usr/bin/find $dlDir -depth -empty -type d -Bmin +2880 -exec rmdir {} ;
Now, I need to remove folders inside many projects folder, but this isn't working for folders where a .DS_Store file lives inside.
I could loop in each folder to check for a 1 file count ( or for more .xxx files ), but this will take time.
How can I do that in a faster way?
I dont want to remove any .DS_Store file from a folder that isn't empty with other files.

I thought about using rm -rf, but I worry about accidentally getting a wrong path, and deleting too much. Years ago, I wrote a script (similar concept to what you are trying to do), that was suppose to clean up a scratch area. I made a mistake in my script and cleaned out /etc/. The system was essentially hosed and I had to restore from backups.
While I do use rm -rf, I am very careful about when I use it. It is also why I just 'echo'ed out the rm commands, rather than execute them during testing.
If I have the wrong directory somehow, rm -f .DS_Store and rmdir "$dir" will do the minimum amount of damage, as the rmdir will not delete a directory unless it is empty, so my only loss would be the .DS_Store.
Also I could replace
'! -iname .DS_Store' with '! -iname ".*"' for searching and keeping out of the $files var any 'just hidden files' in the folder, right?
Yes that should work, but I think you want to understand what dot files are there any why.
as each directory found will be searched for files besides .DS_Store, but I could not figure out a way to do this all within the single 'find' command that was not messy.
This was my fear, so I ask the pro's! , but I see there is not a real choice without looping.
There may be a way, I just could not think of a cool trick that would do it.

Loop Browser - Removing files/folders not indexed in the Apple Loops Index

I experimented with dragging in a SFX folder to the Logic Pro Loop Browser window. It asked me if I wanted to copy files to the Apple Loops folder or reference the original files, and I selected reference the originasl files.
The SFX files were then listed under the OTHER area of the View menu.
Question... HOW do I remove these SFX files/folder from the OTHER view menu?
I have tried deleting all of the Apple Loop Index files and that did not work.
I have tried deleting the actual SFX files/folders, and after they disappear, but when I restore the SFX files/folders to their source location they reappear in the logic browser view menu.
Is there some where else Logic stores Loop Browser reference data which can be deleted to remove these OTHER files/folders from the Loop Browser view menu?

Success...
OK I found the solution.
1) I deleted the SFX audio files from the referenced HDD source location.
2) I opened Logic and re-index the Loop Browser.
3) I quit Logic and copied the SFX files back to the HDD.
When I opened Logic this time, the SFX files/folders referenced under the OTHER menu were gone.
Because I have a huge production music & SFX library, the best way to audition these sources for use in a Logic project, is to audition in iTunes and then just drag whatever I need right from within itunes into the Logic project.
That keeps my Logic loop browser more manageable and focused on composing.

How do i remove underlines from email addresses?

I have a book where the text came in from a word file. Is there any way with InDesign to automatically remove all underlines from them?

Be sure you uncheck the "preserve formatting" box if you go that route and replace it with "none." You could also just edit the style to look the same as the regular text if you think having a hyperlink style might be useful, like in find/change.

I would love any help. I've spent about 6 hours yesterday looking for a solution for this project...
PROBLEM:
I'm trying to organize a 6GB file library of sheet music documents.
After using Gemini to find and delete duplicate files, I'm left with hundreds of empty folders and files spread across the folders in odd locations.
How do I find and delete all the empty folders?
My hope is to remove all the empty folders and then manually reorganize the files.
This will probably take quite a few hours.
Here is an example of the mess. The folders currently look something like this:
Music Library 1 > Kids Songs > Easy > Empty Folder
Music Library 2 > Kids Songs > Easy > "Ode To Joy.mus" and other files are here
Music Library 3 > Kids Songs > Intermediate > Intermediate songs files are here
A better / larger question might be - What is the best way to organize this mess?
Is there a good file manager for organizing these documents? We run a music school and are trying to set it up for multiple teachers to organize their files and sort by a few different tags like: Difficulty, Genre, Teacher Name, Composer name etc.

I'm afraid the ability to find empty folders is a wee bit complicated, and quite simply is completely broken in Mavericks. Just because a folder appears to be empty, doesn't mean that it is--if it was ever opened it will have an invisible .DS-Store file inside. For instance, in Snow Leopard if I do a search on the Desktop folder for Kind is Folder, plus Number of Items is less than two, I get two folders, both are empty but one I just created and never opened, and the other I created some time ago and later tossed the contents, which means that it has a .DS-Store file. Both show "No Items" in Icon view. If I modify the Number of Items to "equals 0" only the newly created and unopened folder "empty" shows up. If I try the same thing in Mavericks I get no sensible results at all in any set of search parameters.
The moderator at Houdah Software reports: "Spotlight on Mavericks reports a value of 1 for "Number of Items" (kMDItemFSNodeCount) for all folders." He says he has reported it as a bug. Evidently it is not yet fixed.

How to remove underlining on text links in Muse...

Hi,
Anyone know how to remove the annoying underlining of text links in Muse. I have of course, styled my link to have no underline - which in Muse works, but doesn't once online.
Even better - does anyone know how to create a hover style via Muse? I used to do it via Dreamweaver no problem - but haven't had any luck with Muse so far.
And is it possible to style 2 text links within a sentence? It only seems to be able to style the whole sentence rather than the just the links

Problem removing underlined headings

I am sorry if this is an obvious question, I did a little search but not really satisfied with the answers.
My problem is this. I have a ID document from a colleague that is intended as a future template but I cannot remove the constant underlined headings. They do not appear when typing, pasting text but only when editing existing headings. I have checked all the dialog boxes but yet to find out where it is generated from.

OK there are several possibilities for what's going on. The blue lines LOOK like paragraph rules, but they might not be actually. I should ahve asked you to select the text frame too, but we can work with what you've shown us.
I see that the lines end at a guide onthe right end, but below the "f" is crossing the guide, so it makes it seem more likely that the lines are actually just drawn. Are you able to select them individually? That would be confirmation.
If you can't select them, then they pretty much have to be rules, but it isn't certain which paragraphs they have been applied to. the upper line could be a Rule Below applied to the Happy Christmas paragraph, or a Rule Above to Letter from the Editor. The lower line could be a Rule Below applied to Joe Bloggs, or a Rule Above applied to the empty paragraph just above the main text. The only way to find out is to put your cursor in each of those paragraphs and open the context menu in the Paragraph panel (not Paragraph Styles) or on the end of the Control Panel and choose Paragraph Rules... In the dialog you'll need to check the dropdown for rule above or below as appropriate, and loo for the checkmark inthe box next to the dropdown.
If you find a rule enabled, you can turn it off by unchecking the box, but you should really also make a not of the paragraph style that is applied and edit the style to be sure it isn't included inthe style definition.

Remove Public Folders

I have two mailbox sever in our environment, a virtual EX2010 and physical EX2010. We had migrated from EX2003 to Virtual EX2010 including
Public folders. All the clients are using Outlook 2010 so we don’t need the public folders. All the mailbox have been moved to physical EX2010.
When I try to delete the system and default public folders, I get below error msg. I want to delete all the public and system folders and uninstall

folder database from a Mailbox server. According to the article it says “you must first move the data within the public folder database to a public folder
database on another server and then remove the public folder database.”
I don't won’t to the public folder on a mailbox server so can i skip
this step?

Removing Photo Folders from "Photo Browser"?

Per the instructions in Mail Help, I dragged some photo folders into the Photo Browser window to use with Mail stationery templates. Now I want to remove the photo folders from the Photo Browser window and can't figure out how. I've tried dragging them to the trash, etc., but nothing seems to work.

Right click (control click for one button mice) on the folder (or the main folders heading if you want to remove all of your folders) and click Remove Folder. Not sure why dragging out of the window doesn't work, but this does!

I actually used to be able to do this, six months ago at least. Now I cannot. It is odd. I see my older signatures and they are without the underline and I do remember being able to remove them. The simple text edit no longer works for links now....
