Remove underline from hyperlink in Mail.

How can I remove the underline from hyperlinks in Mail?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks Roam.
I actually used to be able to do this, six months ago at least. Now I cannot. It is odd.  I see my older signatures and they are without the underline and I do remember being able to remove them. The simple text edit no longer works for links now....
Apple, please fix this!
Thanks again.

  • Remove underline from Hyperlinks

    I have made a presentation in Keynote on my MacPro.
    I have copied it via itunes onto my iPad.
    Each URL link is underlined on the iPad.
    It is not underlined (selected as hyperlink) in the original file on my MacPro.
    How do I remove the automatically added underline from the links on the iPad?
    Thanks,
    Toby

    I've tried to solve this without any success BUT I do have an alternative that seems to work good for me. Simply remove the "www." from the link and it un-underlines. So if you have "www.companyx.com"... just change it to "companyx.com".

  • How do i remove underlines from email addresses?

    I have a book where the text came in from a word file. Is there any way with InDesign to automatically remove all underlines from them?

    Be sure you uncheck the "preserve formatting" box if you go that route and replace it with "none." You could also just edit the style to look the same as the regular text if you think having a hyperlink style might be useful, like in find/change.

  • I have an iPhone 4 and I am wondering how I remove emails from the "All Mail" .  I have over 8,000 emails and want to free up storage but it will take forever to delete them 1 at a time!  Help!

    Is there a way to remove emails from the Exchange Account "All Mail"?  I have over 8 thousand emails and want to clear them out.  It looks as though I have to delete them one by one!

    Since it's an Exchange account, it sounds like the way to do this would be to remove them using a computer.

  • Remove Underline From Link Text

    I use GoLive 5.0 - still works great and suits my capabilities.
    However, I cannot figure out how to remove the underline from the text of a link (as one of my clients has requested) - and have the text continue to function as a link.
    Can anyone suggest how to accomplish this?

    Thanks for the tip.  It took some canoodling, but I got it to work. You can see the results at www.freeblues4u.com
    For your reference, here is the method to eliminate underlines on link text for an entire page in GoLive 5.0:
    In Layout click the CSS icon at the right of the header - on the resultant Style Sheet, right click and select "Add Selector" - Choose "a" - In the CSS Selector Inspector window, select the "F" Tab and select "none" in the Decoration menu - Preview and save the Page.

  • Removing underlines from text links

    hi there!
    i have a few text links on my site and i would like to remove
    the 'underlines' for aesthetics,
    does anybody know how this can be done (i am aware that there
    is a piece of code that can be placed into the 'head' of the html
    but am at a loss as to where to find it?)
    any help would be much appreciated, thank you!

    Pseudo-classes and container styles are what you need - here

  • Removing underline from links

    I've searched the backposts which suggest editing the CSS files. That seems easy enough; however, when I open the CSS file for my "home.html" site, which has an underlined link, I don't see any text decoration tags. In fact, there's hardly anything there at all:
    .graphicgeneric_title_textbox_styledefault {
    background: transparent;
    float: none;
    margin: 0px;
    opacity: 1.00;
    div {
    overflow: visible;
    img {
    border: none;
    .InlineBlock {display: inline; }
    .InlineBlock {display: inline-block; }
    .tinyText {
    font-size: 1px;
    I don't see any place to change the underline function. What's happening here?
    Thanks,
    Chris

    Well, I think what you have done actually is made the link into a rollover link, and these are converted to graphics by iWeb. Unlike regular text hyperlinks, there is no CSS associated with rollover links. Just separate images depending on the rollover state. Here are the two images for your "portfolio" rollover link...
    http://www.chriskresser.com/test/ckphoto/homefiles/shapeimage_1_link0.png
    http://www.chriskresser.com/test/ckphoto/homefiles/shapeimage_1_rollover0.png
    You won't see anything against a white background for the first link because the text is white as well....but this is the normal state of your link. The second image is the grey colored rollover state image. You can basically use an image editing program to edit these images, then copy them back to the directory. But then you will have to do this everytime your page is published.
    I'm not sure what governs whether a text link becomes a rollover link or not in iWeb. It may have to do with whether you hyperlink the actual "portfolio" text vs. hyperlinking the TEXT BOX that contains the word "portfolio". I believe that separating out each word into separate text boxes and then hyperlinking the TEXT BOX for "portfolio" might alleviate your problem.
    Try this and let me know how it goes!

  • TIP: Remove underline from HTML CFGRIDCOLUMN HREF

    It took me almost all of yesterday to find the solution on
    how the remove the underline in HTML CFGRID / CFGRIDCOLUMN with an
    HREF
    Before the CFGRID definition add this new style for each
    column where you don't want the underline appearing
    <STYLE>
    <!--
    .x-grid-col-3 {text-decoration:none !important;}
    .x-grid-col-4 {text-decoration:none !important;}
    -->
    </STYLE>

    Thank you so much, Scott for putting me on the right lines here.
    I've been putting up with underlined href links in my cfgrids for years now and finally snapped today. After much hunting on the Web and coming across many, many people who are frustrated by this issue, I found your solution in the rather obvious place to check first.
    Based on your solution, I tried
    .x-grid-col div {text-decoration:none !important;}
    in a separate CSS stylesheet, and that worked just great for all columns in the grid.
    Hussah!

  • Removing underlines from a link

    OK, here is a link to my site. I want the text that currently

    NOT to be underlined.
    How do I change this in a simple way, without having to
    create a style sheet or anything of that nature?
    I struggle with fundamentals.
    Thank you.

  • Removing email from server issue

    I have a new iMac and I am having problems with email (settings).
    I have the iMac and macbook both running yosemite and both have/share the main email account. the macbook email has the setting to remove email from server, but the iMac doesn't. When I use the remove now on the macbook to clear it off the server, it deletes them from my iMac (just inbox not junk)? I though once they are on the iMac they would be here, and the remove would just remove them from the host mail server?
    I'd like to be able to control the removal from the iMac (not macbook). Anybody else had this issue, and how can I get the settings to appear on my iMac mail pref window to control it there?

    See my reply to the message:
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2557520?start=15&tstart=0
    The problem is that the POP3 client does not issue a DELE command to remove the email from the server.

  • In Mail I have checked Remove copy from server but they do not delete how can I get it to sync correctly?

    In Mail I have checked Remove copy from server but they do not delete, In Mail when I have checked Remove copy from server but they do not delete.
    I have a hotmail accout.  When the emails have downloaded and I "Get Account Info" in Messages on server it shows all the messages I have just downloaded if I switch to That have been downloaded to my Mac the display it is blank.  Also if I delete the downloaded messages and then get new info.  All the messages are downloaded again and the count of new messages increases (this increases every time I Get New Messaages) .

  • Remove Attachments from Leopard Mail does not remove attachment from .emix

    Every day I back up my mail (and other items) to an external hard drive using an Automator workflow, in order that I can synchronize mail on my work and home Macs. In order to make this process as quick as possible, I routinely remove attachments from all mail messages once I have saved them to where they need to go on my hard drive.
    I have noticed that since upgrading to Leopard (archive and install), the size of the mail folder which I back up (user>library>mail) is getting significantly bigger every day, despite removing all attachments. Upon investigation it seems that although the attachment has been removed from the mail message, the attachment is still in it's associated .emix file (e.g. user>library>mail>POP???mailaccountfolder>INBOX.mbox>messages>?????.emix - if this email contained a 5mb attachment which was removed using mail>message>remove attachments, the .emix file will still be 5mb).
    Anyone else experiencing this problem? know a workaround? It didn't happen with mail in 10.4!

    I am not sure when I will get the chance to test this -- maybe this afternoon. But I had not understood that what you called original continued to have the attachments. If so, this strongly suggests to me that it indeed may be the way Gmail maintains the All Mail folder that is causing this. See:
    http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=6581
    If there is a setting to help this, it will have to be one that is selected in the Settings webpage of Gmail, I suspect.
