Remove UWL Action from just one item type

I would like to remove the "forward" action from only one item type in the UWL. There is the ability to remove an action from all items in a particular iView using "List of UWL Actions to exclude", however, I can not find out how, or if it is possible to exclude a UWL action in the XML configuration file for just one item type. We are on NWO4s sp 05. Does anyone know if this can be done and what the xml snippet would look like that would remove the "forward" action from a single item type?

The xml snippet you sent does remove the "forward" action from the UWL preview iView, but it does not remove the action from the list view. To the right of every item in the list view is the "properties" icon (unclear on the actual name of this icon - the one that has 3 small lines and a triangle). When this is clicked the "forward" option still appears. I am looking for a way to totally disable the forward option on the defaultView, but only for certain item types.

Thank you for your subscription. If you are Acrobat Plus subscriber then you can extract the pages from the PDF file using Tools> Pages> Extract pages.
You can find "Tools" at right top once you open your PDF file in Acroat.
If you are subscriber to PDF Pack then please download Acrobat XI Plus from www.adobe.com.
PDF Pack service offers "Convert to PDF", "Export from PDF"(to Word/PowerPoint/Excel/RTF formats so that you can edit the exported files) and "Combine Files" (combine your files into a single PDF file).
Please let me know if you have any quesitons.

WM: Transfer Requirements with just one item

Hi experts,
does anybody know if it is possible to customize WM in order to create just one item per transfer requirement.
My problem is that in material staging from PP, I have customized creation of transfer requirements on order release. If OF consist of three components, system create one transfer requirement with 3 items, nevertheless I need to create 3 transfer requirement.

How to stop just one item being reset when sumbit is pressed?

How can i keep the value of just one item when the submit button is pressed. This field will always be the user id of the user logged on so i dont want it to be reset. I have tired doing a simple query to select the id everytime the page loads but the value then appears null when i do an insert statement to create a particular record for the user in a table.
Anyone any ideas?

Right I could see how the APP_USER would work but it wouldn’t work in this situation.
To be more specific I want the id of the user which is called student id to stay the same all the way through the application as there id refers to them. What I have is that when a user logs on it takes them to their details and a menu part. One of the options is to enter some documents relevant to them. So when they click this option a new page opens showing a report of all the current documents as well as a form where you can update, insert new and delete documents.
When you load the page the report and form work fine with the correct student id being passed form the pervious page. If however you create a document all the fields in the form get reset. I therefore want a way of stopping the student id from being reset when you create or delete a document. Basically if the page refreshes.
I can run an sql query that gets the correct student id if the field is null and displays it correctly in the form but for some reasons (im guessing cos its a result of a query) when it tries to process this when I submit the field is null.
Any ideas as this one has got me

No received text messages from just one friend on Verizon

Hi - I can't receive texts from just one person. It started a few months ago but I can't pinpoint any Android upgrade that would have caused this. My friend is on Verizon and she receives my individual texts, group texts, MMS messages, etc. but when she responds to me individually or as a group I do not receive them. I have a Galaxy S4 running 5.0 Kit Kat and it is not rooted. My friend has Galaxy S6 with same Android version except 5.1.1 and she has not had any upgrades. I have searched many forums and can't find any solution so what can I do? I pulled my SIM out of my phone and put it into another old one and it works fine. I have done a reset, removed and installed contacts, etc. and nothing. Ideas?

Click on the arrow next to the number of emails in the conversation. That'll show you each separate email. You can create a new mailbox (call it what you want) and drag that email out of the conversation into that mailbox.

Transfer just one item from I-pod to computer

I have some movies on an I-pod that I seem to have lost from my computer hard drive after transferring my entire collection to a newer external hard drive (they were I-tunes purchases). I would like to move just one or two items from my I-Pod to the computer, not all my purchased items. When I do "transfer purchase items" it seems to begin moving everything. Is there a way to only upload one item at a time? It doesn't have to go my my libary if that makes a difference--I can always do that afterward.

Automatic Freight Service PO just one item

When I create a new Freight the item gets added in a PO (our setting is one PO per week per vendor).
My problem is although all the items show in the PO History tab, in the item overview there is just one line: the first item created.
If anybody has an idea how can I fix this I will appreciate it.

How do I remove Safari from just one account on a multi-account computer?

I'm not new to macs, but I am new to multiple accounts on one computer, so forgive me if this is a real obvious question:
I have two accounts, A & B. I want to have Safari on account A, but not on account B. However, when I trash Safari on account B, it is also removed from account A. So the question: How to I get rid of Safari on account B and keep it on account A?

If you just have the two accounts, you can move Safari into the account you want to have access. Of course, if the other account has administrator access, there isn't much you can do to prevent them from making a copy or moving it back. Any user with administrator access can get root permissions to do just about anything, so trying to implement some kind of restrictions isn't really going to work - what exactly is it you are you trying to do?

One of the user is unable to remove obsolete Tags from new work items and search query

Hi I am new to TFS Administration, User has some obsolete Tags in TFS site which is removed on the Backlogs but user can see those tags when he is creating new work items and while querying the Work Items but he is not able to see any obsolete tags in Backlogs.
TFS version: TFS 2013 SP2
Steps followed:
we queried each tags, we see 0 work items associated with the tags
As per MSDN, we have to remove associated tags which automatically removes the Tags after 3 days
The user is facing the same from past week
Am i missing something? or will the list of Tags be available in new work items and querying WITs? Please help

Features to isolate OSB services from just one slow business service.

Here is a OSB question around a quick business service that suddenly turn to be a slow one and the impact on the overall OSB performance.
Suppose you have a critical OSB cluster in production with many proxy and business services.
Because of requirements, you have a specific sync http business service (web service) that has an acceptable response time around 1 secs. But suddenly the response time goes to 30 secs or even more due to some problem, generating a great impact on thread and resource consumption on OSB side.
Suppose a http time out configuration of 2 secs on the business service is just not enough. OSB continues to crash.
You can use OSB throttling feature but doing that you have to fix a maximum concurrency.
If the service implementation is down, OSB can handle that using "Offline Endpoint URIs" in the operational settings of sbconsole. But in this situation the service is online accepting requests. It's just slow to respond.
This is a hypothetical situation just to stress the problem.
Besides business service time-out configuration and throttling and dispatch-policies on proxy/business services are there any other features that can be used ?

Ok, once the business service request is sent, the thread is freed. When the response comes, a new thread is picked up to handle the business service response. So in the mean time there's no blocking thread. Yes. It is correct.
Just to make sure, what about the waiting synchronous http client calling the proxy service ?
I mean, this fire-and-forget feature works only on the business service side or entirely for the proxy/business service (That separation would not make sense I suppose) ? The same case with http proxy. The request thread will be used till the BS is invoked in the route node or end-of the request pipeline. After this thread is released. Once the response comes from the http bs on a different thread, that thread will be used till the end of the responsepipeline
eg
Client---->Http Proxy---->Thread1{Request Pipeline--->Routenode---->End of Request actions in the Routenode--->Call BS Request} ----->Thread2{BS gets response--->Response Pipeline --->send response back to the client}

In that case you can change QOS=Exactly once. BS request and response will be on the same thread , but proxy response thread will be always different from that of proxy request thread no matter what the QOS is set

If you have a picture in two different albums, it is not possible to delete from just one album, you got to delete from all albums

I cant delete singel/multiple pictures from my albums, without deleting the same picures from another album.
When you press delete on a picture you get a question wich says "delete from all albums", and thats it?
You cant choose to select yes or no.

When you 'copy' photos into new albums you are only creating a pointer to the photo, you are not creating a separate copy of it - if you delete the original photo you will be deleting all pointers to it and it will be removed from any album that you've 'copied' it into.
The Collections/Photos and Albums views are just different ways of viewing the same photos.
