I've never seen an app were every update get progressivley worse. The latest one has obnoxious ads on it that look like an android with a virus. It's complete trash now.
Nokia, consider removing it from the collection! It tarneshes Nokia's image to be associated with such an ameture app.

My device is a Lumia 1520. I did consider uninstalling it but not reinstalling it It's a problem with the app, not my installation of it.
After what Weather Channel did to the app I just didn't think it was up to Nokia's standards. Just check the app reviews for the past month.

Remove RDSH from the collection

Hi,
Deployment:RDS 2012 R2 provides RemoteApp...
HA is not configured but round robin is created for the FARM_name of 2 brokers
Currently only one RDSH provides Remote App.
Yesterday, I added CALs to Licensing server. AND added second RDSH into collection for providing CALs from License server.
This morning I got a trouble call... Clients could not connect to Remote App.
1. first thing I checked licensing server. I found issued Licenses.
2. then I connected to RDSH1 (that currently has all roles) by RDP and received the Message (didn't save a message)t: but it was like this: connections are redirected to RDSH2 ... for connection use the FARM NAME.
To remind : HA was not touched yet.
As a QUICK solution I shut down RDSH2 and everything works. Couldn't think that adding second RDSH to collection will create this kind of problem...
My question:
would you recommend to remove RDSH2 from the collection until starting HA configuration ?
Could it create some problems when I will need to add it to collection?

As per my research, if simply you would add the RDSH server then it would face this issue as redirection of server take place and it would find for user\App on other server. So now after adding RDSH server, you need to point the RD License server to RDSH server
(Specify a License Server for an RD Session Host Server to Use) so that it can identify the License and user and can provide access to the server by your users.
You can do this thing by following below group policy setting.
Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Licensing
Use the specified Remote Desktop license servers:
Enable it and add the FQDN name of server.
You can also configure through deployment properties and below powershell command.
To configure the license server on RDSH/RDVH:
$obj = gwmi -namespace "Root/CIMV2/TerminalServices" Win32_TerminalServiceSetting
$obj.SetSpecifiedLicenseServerList("License.contoso.com")

Remove Applications from Nokia account

Hi
I would like to remove unwanted applications from my nokia account as I either found better ones or just don't want to use them again. I delete them from my phone but they stay on my nokia account, I understand why it does that but surely there must be a way to remove it from my actual Nokia account? Please can anyone help me. I'm using a Nokia N8 (Belle)

Removing Items From Array Collection

Hi. I have an array collection which is made up of items
defined in class PlayListEntry. I want to remove all the items that
have the value of property select set to false. This is what i have
come up with, it works fine, but only removes half the items at a
time. I think this is because when you remove and item with
removeitemat() it shifts the index of the items. How can i get
around this?

Cannot remove "Widsets" from Nokia N81

Hallo,
I want to remove an application "Widsets". But it doesnt look like it can be removed. I installed Widsets, and when
I opened the application it said there is a newer version available. So, I downloaded the newer version. Now, I have the old version and the new one. But, when I tried going into the new one, it doesnt open. I then downloaded it again and the same. So I tried once again. And the same. Now I have 4 Widsets applications on my phone.
How do I remove it. I tried through the "Nokia Installer" but the stupid program doesnt show what I have installed - it says "The content of the currently selected Nokia device model cannot beshown by this application". I am using "Nokia NSeries PC Suite". I also just tried to select "remove" when I clicked on "Options". It does nothing. Not even an error. But still, its stays there. I have 4 of them... its kind of irritating.

Try to download the latest Pcsuite( not the N series) & uninstall the one you have & install it & check. If it does not work(some poorly writen applications does not conformed to uninstaller program of phone) you have to do it manualy by a 3rd party browser e.g. Y-browser.

Why can't I delete an Image in lightroom 5, but can remove it from a collection?

Just recently I have been experiencing difficulties in deleting images in Lightroom 5. In the develop module, I select the image I would like to delete, I choose delete from disk, and choose permanently delete them, and nothing happens. I try flagging it with an X, and under photo menu delete all rejected photos, but that does not work either. What may I be doing wrong? Thanks for all your help.

Unable to remove mailbox from Nokia E52

I configured 2 mailboxes in my E52 which was working fine until I configured 1 more account. After I created that another account all the 3 mailboxes got disconnected. Now when I try to connect any of the mailboxes it prompts for password, which is not accepting after many attempts. So it remains in the disconnected state. Now when I try to remove/delete the mailbox, it gives me an error: You must be connected to remove the mailbox. Try again later. Neither I am able to connect to any of the mailboxes nor I am able to remove/delete any of the mailboxes. I am in a fix now. Pls help

Menu > Email > Settings > Highlight the mailbox but don't open it > Options > "Remove Mailbox"
I had the same problem. Make sure the mailbox is disconnected when you do it. It will work

One-to-many relationship - remove item from collection problem

The ArrayCollection keeps folders tree - subtree of folder is kept in children property and is also ArrayCollection. This collection is fed by 'folders' custom assembler defined like this:
Assembler works with adding and deleting top level objects of collection.
Also, when I add new object to children property LCDS issues createItem for new object and then updateItem for children property of parent so everything is fine - new object is persisted and relationship is correct.
When I remove item from children collection ONLY updateItem on assembler is issued, so object is not deleted from repository. Why this managed reletionship works for adding new object to children collection but doesnt work for deleting?

How to delete photos from a collection

Hi,
The fact that I can't delete a photo when I'm browsing a collection is now one of the few things that really hampering my LR experience. The issue occurs even more often than it needs to because I often need to open several photos in Photoshop from which to create a final composite image. The quickest way to do this is to select them all and choose "Edit in Photoshop". However this create TIFFs for each file that I won't want to keep, so I then need to delete all but one of them.
I'm hoping that I've just missed something obvious...
At the moment I have to select the photo(s) that I want to delete, right click, choose to view them in the library, press the delete key, confirm the fact that I really would like to remove the files from the disk, then press the "back" button to get back to my collection view. Hardly quick.
If the photos aren't all in the same folder then this doesn't work at all since there is no common folder. From the collection view there's simply no way of knowing if this is the case.
I've tried using the Quick collection to group all the photos that I want to delete, however you can't delete them from there either.
I've tried using the reject flag to flag all the ones that I want to delete, but that doesn't help either. All you can do with the rejected photos is to remove them from the collection; the reject flag isn't sticky across collection and the folder view.
I really need an efficient way to delete multiple files from a collection view. Is there one?

Recommended practice for adding and deleting from a Collection

Are there any suggestions for updating a Collection in a OneToMany ( privateOwned ) Collection? Here is our use case:
1. Retrieve a Source object from the database
2. Remove 1 or more SourceLinks from the sourceLinks Set
3. Add 1 or more new SourceLinks to the sourceLinks Set
4. Update the Source object
The SourceLink object has isPrivateOwned(true).
Adding and Removing things from a Collection seems like a fairly common use case. Are there recommended ways of handeling the above case? I've tried doing the add/remove operation in one transaction as well as removing, then re-fetching, and then adding in separate transactions and haven't had any luck.
Here is the code an test case.

Delete element from a collection (JDev 10.1.2)

I have a bean which has a collection "testCollection" and accessors for it. This has been populated with some elements (similar to the LDAPDataControls example). I have created the data control for it and dragged the collection onto a JSP as a read only form. This displays the current element of the collection depending on the iterator position.
I then have a forward on the page using a button to a Data Action called RemoveAction. I have overwritten invokeCustomMethod and I'm trying to remove the element in the collection at the current iteraotr position.
I can access the iterator using actionContext.getBindingContainer().findIterator("testCollectionIterator");
From this I can get the current row but both row.remove() and row.removeFromCollection throw UnsupportedMethod exceptions.
I can access the collection using actionBinding.getBindingContainer().getDataControl().getDataProvider(), but I have no way of removing the object from the collection without having a reference to the object itself.
Please can someone explain how to remove elements from the collection?
Also can someone explain in the LDAPDataControls example why its also necessary to have a class called LDAPDataControl (type of DCGenericDataControl) and a LDAPDataControlFactory (type of DataControlFactoryImpl)?
Just having the classes LDAPSearch, the bean class LDAPEntry, and a class to hold the collection LDAPCollection works fine. Create the data control for LDAPCollection and drag the collection onto the JSP.

Or you can filter them out using where:
