Removed app from D110, still printing

I removed the 7-day menu planner app from my Photosmart D110 over a month and a half ago, and it's still printing every week. It's not in my print apps menu, and I can't change the settings for it, because I removed it. When will it stop? It's wasting paper, and it's just printing the tables for it and not any actual menus. HALP!

Hello,
I found a document that address your issue. Here's a link to the document and here's the part that pertains to your question.
Remove a scheduled deliver print app:
NOTE:
Be sure to complete Step one before performing Step two. If you remove the Scheduled Delivery Print App without first cancelling the scheduled delivery, the product will continue to receive and print pages for the App. If this happens, follow the steps in the Setting up a Scheduled Delivery Print App section of this document to first add the App back. Then follow Steps one and two in this section.
Step one: Cancel the Scheduled Delivery Print App
Log into ePrintCenter .
Click the Apps tab.
Select the HP Photosmart D110 tab.
Click the App that you want to remove.
Click Setup .
Click Update Settings .
Click Cancel scheduled delivery .
Click the Cancel Subscription .
The Scheduled Delivery Print App’s icon is still listed on the product control panel display, but the scheduled deliveries are actually canceled. This allows you to access the Scheduled Delivery Print App at any time. To remove the Scheduled Delivery Print App completely, continue to the next step.
Step two: Remove the Scheduled Delivery Print App completelyAfter completing Step one, follow these steps to completely remove the Scheduled Delivery Print App completely, so that it does not display in ePrintCenter or on the product control panel.
Log into ePrintCenter .
Click the Apps tab.
Select the HP Photosmart D110 tab.
Click the App that you want to remove.
Click Remove .
The App is removed from the list of Apps in ePrintCenter and the product control panel display.

  • How do i prevent removed apps from syncing when connecting to iTunes

I've "removed" apps from my iPad to free up space but when I connect to my computer, the apps "appear" to still sync.
To the upper right of the screen, it will show there are 65 apps (I removed 20 apps).  These are active apps and that is correct  When I click on the status bar at the bottom of the screen (the Apps section), it shows there are 85 apps taking up space on my iPad.
Also, where the apps are listed, the apps that were "removed" from my iPad air have an option to "Install".   I don't understand why they're still syncing.  TIA for your help!

This does not help but it does offer some insight. I have NEVER noticed this before. Take a look at the dialog box in the is screenshot. Note that it says that even if the app is deleted from the iTunes library, it will not be removed for any iOS devices when you sync.
As an experiment, I deleted the AOL On app from my iTunes library and followed the prompts to put the app in the trash - not keep it in the mobile sync folder. I synced my iPad - and the app is still on the device even though it does NOT appear in my list of apps in iTunes when the iPad is connected and selected. I have never seen that happen before.
If the app is not in your library, I always assumed that it would be erased when you sync since it is no longer in iTunes. I deleted the app in iTunes and then deleted it on the iPad and then synced again and now it is gone everywhere.
    Bizarre....

  • HT201304 Can I remove apps from my purchase list

Can I remove apps from my purchase list..?

No. You can hide them from the Purchases section of the iTunes Store through iTunes on a computer (or your iPad if it's still running iOS 5):
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
but there's no way to remove apps permanently, nor can they be removed nor hidden in the Purchase History.
    Regards.

  • HT4211 With ios7 I can no longer remove apps from multitasking. How can I do this?

How do I remove apps from multitasking as I used to with earlier iOS?

You still double-click the home button to open the multitasking bar, but with iOS 7 you now swipe/drag an app from there up and off the top of the screen to close it :

  • Remove app from Profile Manager

    hello there,
Having set up my Lion Server with several users, I was testing the pushing of apps. It works just flawless.
But after playing I wanted to delete all the test apps I uploaded.
I can't find any option to delete them. Only a link on internet to delete it in the database.
Weird, one should be able to delete something?
Even, when I upload my first App, and then one day later the same App, but a newer file, still the old date of the first upload is in the App list.
    Do I miss something?
    Please helpme!

this will leave "null" entries but clear the rest
Apple needs to fix.  One of the reasons I stopped using Profile Manager and switched to Meraki.

  • Author removes app from store, removed also from phone!

App disappeared from phone. Checked "purchased" list (all), it was not there. Searched app store, not there. Author's web site down.
The logical conclusion is the author removed the app from the store and, consequently, it was removed from my phone. I don't pay much attention to updates, just hit "go", so I am not sure when it happened.
Fortunately, I still had it in the library on my computer, so I was able to restore it by syncing.
My question is if this is really how it is supposed to work. That would be a BIG problem.
    Thanks

After it's removed from the store, the app will simply stop updating. You'll be left with the currently installed version. I know this to be true, because I still have the VLC app on my iPhone, even though it was removed from the store.
It's entirely possible that Apple has the ability to remotely remove apps from iPhones. I wouldn't be shocked to hear that such a capability exists. I would be shocked if it was actually used, however.
Even if you remove the app from your iPhone by mistake, the synced/backed up copy should still remain in iTunes (assuming you synced your iPhone at some point prior to removing the app):

  • How do I remove apps from my app store history after I have deleted them from my iPad?

After trying an app and deciding that is isn't what I want and deleting it, I see that it still shows up when I look at my "purchased" apps in the App Store.  I'd like to purge them from my device's history.  I don't want them saved or backed up by iTunes, if that could even happen.
Also, App Store on my iPad always shows on its icon that I have more updates than I can find when I  go into App Store.  For example it may show 2 updates available, but when I go into App Store it says all apps are updated, yet the icon still shows 2 when I return to the home screen.  Is this related to the issue above?
    Thanks,
    Bill

There is no way to remove apps from your purchase history. It simply cannot be done. You can HIDE apps from the purchased tab, but you can NEVER delete them.
iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases - Support - Apple
As for the updates not clearing, try closing the App Store app and reboot your iPad,
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • How can I remove apps from my iPad

How can I remove apps from my iPad? It does not have the little "x" option on the iPad like the iPhones.

It works just the same as an iPhone. A long hold on an icon will cause them all to start wobbling, drag to move around or tap the X to remove. You can't remove any of the built-in apps so these won't get an X to tap.

How can I remove apps from my iPhone 5 home page?

Tap and hold an app until they all start to wiggle, then tap the black "x" on the apps you want to delete from your phone, or drag them to the edge of the screen if you want to move them to another screen rather than deleting them.  Finish by tapping the home button.

  • Few problems with the dock. Creating App stack, and removing apps from dock

OK.. I am running leopard 10.5.4, and decided I wanted to use the app folder as a stack. I made my new folder with the alias' inside. However, when I went to move it into the dock, 9on the right side of the sizing bar), the other stacks failed to shift out of the way, so I couldn't add it in.
Another problem is that I can't see to remove apps from the dock. I have admin rights, and they are not active, hence the desire to get rid.
    Anyone have an idea??

Erm... Doh! had dock 'locked' in Onyx...

How do I remove apps from my app purchased list on my iphone?

How do you remove 1) products from the "purchased" list; and 2) "the device" whether iPhone or iPad.
I just had to restore my iPad because the latest security update didn't install correctly; and all the old apps that I purchased re-appeared.

  • Removing apps from devices in itunes

Hi all, first time and hopefully last time blogger but if IT’S BROKEN I’ll be back. I have 3 IOS devices (iphone 5, ipads 2 & 3) all have been updated to the
latest IOS software. These devices are synced with a PC which has the latest itunes software. I can’t remove any apps through itunes for any of the devices
(e.g. sync with itunes then highlight the apps in the app screen but it won’t change to “will remove”).
Does anyone know why apple breaks (it’s broken) these interfacing software issues. Why change things to be difficult , aren’t these software
updates meant to be improvements not hassles

Until a couple of days ago, I had never seen this in iTunes. This is not exactly what you are talking about but it is somewhat related. I found this to be very odd. The long and short of it is that I could delete apps from my iTunes library, then sync my iPad with iTunes - and even though the apps were no longer in the apps list when the iPad was connected to my Mac, with iTunes running and with the iPad selected under devices - they were not removed when I synced.
    Take a look.

  • Removing Apps From iPhone App Store

    Hello,
I have been searching all over but I can't find a post on how to remove apps from the iPhone App Store purchased list. I have been able to do it in the past by swiping the app in the purchase list and selecting hide but it appears this function is disabled... Does anyone have any clue on how to do this now. Thank you

  • Removing Apps from iPhone using iTunes Apps Sync Apps doesn't work

Im trying to manage the space on my iPhone 4 16GB, so when I go on hiloday I have enough space for photos and vacation movies.
When plugged in, iTunes shows my apps in the Apps tab. (it actually shows an extra page of apps which are not installed on my phone)
In iTunes I used to hover over an app, click the x to remove, confirm the prompt to delete and finally, sync. The app was gone from my phone.
    Now this doesnt work.
The other way was to uncheck the app from my list of apps (in iTunes Apps tab), and then sync.
    This doesnt work either.
I'm sure I used to use this method previously.
This is especially handy because itunes lists the applications by size, so I can easily see the ones that will free up the most space.
Is there any way to remove apps from the iPhone WITHOUT DOING IT ON THE PHONE?
Note: I have 'Sync Apps' ticked & 'automatically sync new apps' unticked.
    Im running:
    Macbook Air 2012
    OS X 10.8.1 64 Bit
    Itunes 10.7(21) 64 Bit
    iPhone 4 iOS 6.0 (10A403)

Are the apps in your iTunes library using the same AppleID as the one signed into on your phone?
