Removed everything to do with itunes..reinstalled now ipod wont work
Well from the new itunes and it having difficulty recognising the itouch i decided to uninstall it and install 7.5 again. So i then removed everything to do with itunes on my computer, then i installed 7.5, now it claims i dont have the required software to use an ipod?
So how do i fix this, i have tried multiple things?

Okay. If possible, check to see if your mother can launch iTunes in her account on the PC. If she can, focus on the "User-Specific Troubleshooting" section of the following document. If she gets the same error, focus on the "System-wide Troubleshooting" section of the document:

... depending on how your account has been set up on the PC, you might not have sufficient privileges to carry out some of the procedures described in that document. I bought a ipod 5th gen 32gig off a road side peddler for $175. It was working when I bought it. I wonted to remove his music and stuff off of it so I restored it with itunes and now it wont let me activate it. I do not have his info and I do not know how to get in touch with him I have had third gen ipods and never had any problums like this before Help!!!
Either get the Apple ID and password from him to activate the iPod

Updated windowsn, now Ipod wont work
I recently upgraded from Windows ME to Widows XP. I did this in order to be able to update my Ipod. My Ipod is relatively old, and ran under the MusicMatch Jukebox before. Now with an upgraded music match, and a new download of itunes with windows XP, my Ipod wont sync-up. It doesnt start in Itunes or musicmatch, and it keeps all music as music match. Also, I can't add new music. Any suggestions?
Get rid of Musicmatch. iTunes does not work well if it is used along with Musicmatch.

Problem with IOS 6 download and now ipod wont work
i got a notification about the new IOS 6 version to download and so i accepted and downloaded it...the download completed but then my iPod went black and never came back on. i gave it time to turn on by itself but nothing happened. i went home and plugged it in to itunes and it states my ipod is in recovery mode and that in order to pursue further action i need to restore i have restored it multiple times and nothing happens. it just verifies restore with itunes and says its waqiting on ipod but nothing ever happens. what do i do now? i need my iPod up and running soon!
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iphone cut off while using itunes and now it wont work. it cuts on and off and it wont restore.
while putting music on my iphone from itunes my iphone suddenly cut off. it wouldnt come back on unless hooked up to charger and even then it turns on and off.. i have tried restoring it but it wont work. it actually restored once but it just started doing the same thing within an hour. every other time it errors out. what can i do?

If you have already tried restoring the iPhone, then the next troubleshooting step to address this issue would be to try putting the phone into recovery mode and attempting a restore from there. I have an article for you that can help you perform these steps:

i was trying to delete some songs from my ipod. so i plugged it into itunes and it froze. i help the home and menu button to reset it and now its stuck on the apple logo. i plugged it back into itunes, it updated the software i dont know if it restored the ipod. but now its stuck on the logo and it keeps going to the white screen and then back to the logo. what do i do?
Try restoring. Make sure you have a backup first.

I restored my ipod touch 2g and now when i turn it on it goes to the apple logo and turns off and thats as far as i get.
It means the device is in recovery mode. You'll need to reconnect it to iTunes and restore it again.
You may need to connect it in recovery mode manually using the instructions in this Apple support document.

Downloaded updated software and now ipod wont work... help please

I downloaded the software and now my ipod touch will not work. It has the itunes logo and the usb cable on the screen and nothing works. I have held down the top right button and the center button and the apple logo comes up, screen goes black and then the itunes and cable pictures are back on the screen
Has this happened to anyone and if so how in the world did you fix it! Please help

My profile on Windows 7 home is set to Administrator and always has been i.e. before iTunes was originally installed. I haven't backed my phone up in a while but found my 3GS stating that it needed to be updated before I could make any more calls. I've got home to find that my iTunes won't run due to a missing .dll file and the suggested solution is to remove everything to do with iTunes and reinstall "with sufficient privelidge". If I'm already an administor then why is it still broke and if i remove everything am I going to loose all my dearly loved playlists etc??
Your playlists are saved as part of your library, and it should not be lost at all as a result of the program uninstall/reinstall.

I have updated to version 11 of itunes and now it wont open comes up with comment saying it is not installed correctly or corrupt. Help

You could be right that the response to clicking on help is a symptom of an entirely separate issue, but nevertheless the secure link to itunes is definitely failed, and I am unable to log into Itunes on either PC.
I also noticed that even if I click on the link to create a whole new Apple ID, I cannot do that either, presumably because the secure link is not working.
After I noticed that there were weird things happening this morning, I did change my Apple ID password in the hope that this might resolve it, but it seemed to make it worse. Now, all of my apple devices keep constantly prompting me for the apple ID password, and randomly either accepting it, or telling me it is wrong. I know the password is correct because I can log onto the apple Manage My Apple ID screens in a web browser with it.
I was starting to think that this is an ISP issue (BT Broadband), but I have not seen anyone else posting with the same issue. Does Apple use a different security protocol to everyone else? I'm asking because all other secure services seem to be working fine, but anything related to apple that requires a secure connection or authentication is having issues.
I have also seen reference to making sure that Itunes is listed as an allowed program in Windows Firewall. I cannot seem to do this because it says that my Windows firewall is being managed by McCafee. I have checked the settings in McCafee, and it appears to me that Itunes, Bonjour, and many other apple programs have been granted "Full" access. As said before in any case I have tried temporarily disabling the firewall and even this did not solve the problem. -
