Removed toolbar from Navigator in Design Editor and want it back
Hi,
this is more funny than actually serious stuff that it is usually discussed here. I accidentally dragged toolbar from Navigator in Design Editor so it was floating palette. I clicked close window button on palette and have never seen toolbar again. Tried close Navigator, close Design Editor, right click on various places no luck, my dear little toolbar is gone.
Please give me my toy back!!! =:>)

Use the View menu and you should see that the Toolbar option is missing a tick. Select Toolbar and all will
be well again...

I just looked into this as I was moving my iPad to a new computer for synching. With no thanks to Kobo for any really useful information on their help site (this discussion was the most useful info I found), I think the following may address your issue with respect to Kobo.
1. There is not easy or official way to back up Kobo books from your iPad.
2. Kobo keep track of your personal library. Go to the Kobo website (Kobo.com) and sign in to your account. On the very top line is "My Library". That contains (or at least Kobo says it does) everything you have ever bought from Kobo. Kobo say that you may download any of this content to other devices you own at no charge.
3. I synched my iPad to the new computer. According to Apple, that will delete all my data as the apps are re-installed from the new compute. While all my apps got moved around from the order I previously had (many thanks Apple), all my books are still there together with my bookmarks etc. Looks like this did nothing to change any Kobo data.
While I do not like the idea that I cannot create a backup on my main computer, it is probably safer in the long run that there is a backup at Kobo. After all, I could lose all my equipment in a fire or something, and then personal backups would be of little use. -

When I had a Windows OS based machine I had to dig deep into the Directory to find everything I wanted to remove as the delete function did not do so. I don't know if this "digging deeper" action is even necessary in Mac and if it is where I would go in Mac to do so. Is it? If so, how?I appreciate your clarification inquiry request. My goal was as initially stated, to "find everything I wanted to remove as the delete function did not do so.......if.....digging deeper.....is.....necessary.....and if it is where....go in Mac to do so....(and)...how?"

I have moved from the US to Norway, and want to change my apple ID to the Norwegian appstore. However, I am not allowed ot change from the US store before I use up my balance, which is 0.17 dollar. The problem is that nothing costs 0.17 dollar and I do no longer have an american visa card, only Norwegian. Is there any way I can erase the credit on my account so I can change the appstore country? Or osmething I can use this credit on? Thank you very much

Hi, I' ll be San Antonio from 8-10th of Oct and want to buy an iphone 5. According to forums there is no unlucked yet. Thus, can i get simlocked but not contracted phone from any store? and is that possible to use that phone in Turkey without any prob.
If you purchase the phone at the full contract price and have no term left on your carrier contract, the carrier will unlock it for you. That's what I am doing with AT&T. I'll pay the full purchase price for the phone and since I don't have a contract with them, they will unlock it for you. It can be difficult to get it done since most of their customer service is very ill informed but I have had many discussions with them on their chat that I have records of them stating they will unlock any phone if you do not have an existing contract. It's the law.

Should you upgrade is your decision. If you don't need the advanced features of Mavericks, then there is no reason to upgrade. If you don't use applications that require Mavericks to upgrade, then you don't need to upgrade.
Note that beyond Snow Leopard you won't be able to run PPC-only applications such as Office 2004. -

Either you need to contact the previous owner to release the phone from Find My iPhone, or if you cannot contact the previous owner, it is likely you received a stolen iPhone and it will be useless to you. -
My Iphone 4 just updated to the iOS6. I've connected it to my computer for the first time since then, and wanted to back up my photos in iPhoto. However, although Iphoto recognized my phone, it shows no photos to upload or backup. It lists my phone in the "devices" category on the left bar, but no longer shows any of my photos.
Does anyone have any suggestions?I've reread your question several times and am not sure I understand it.
Are you trying to basically start over, as if you just took your iPhone out of the box? If so, do:

I have a Mac Book Pro with 10.6.8 and want to back up my files using a flash drive. It says I did it but when I tried to check on my other Mac - an I Mac with 10.5.8, thedata does not seem to be there. I cant see photos, etc.. It shows the backup as a file and shows various system info. but there are no photos or other files shown.

MikeA PowerPC Mac, if that's what it is, won't be able to see an Intel Mac's formatted data. Also ExFat formatting is not supported by 10.6.3 or earlier. I would try viewing the backup on another Intel Mac with at least 10.6.4. If it isn't there, then the backup never really took place. I much profer a hard drive with Carbon Copy Cloner.

if i back up my itunes library to an external hard drive and then add subsequent music and want to back up the newly added music a few days later, can i do it without backing up the entire library again? or do i need to back up the entire library each and every time i back up to the external hard drive?Just copy Users/yourusername/Music/iTunes (containing your library-files) to your external drive as well as that (extaernal) folder that contains all your audio-tracks.

Backing up to DVDs is a time-wasting exercise and doesn't provide you with a bootable alternative. I suggest that you invest in an ext FWHD and use something like Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper! to put a bootable backup/clone onto it. BTW, don't let the recall notice scare you into getting it replaced immediately. If there's nothing wrong with the HD, prepare for getting it replaced, but only after you've followed all the steps outlined above. FWIW, if you're within 50 miles of an Apple repair station, they most likely will do an onsite repair since it's a desktop machine. -
Removing items from navigation menu
Why is it that I can remove almost any items from the navigator window in JDeveloper 9.0.3 and I can't remove any item from the navigator window in JDeveloper 10.1.2. Is really a problem because I have to delete the items in order to remove them from the navigator window.
Did you try pressing the red "X" at the top of the application navigator?
Can you give an example of something you can't remove from the navigator?
