Removing AIA integration in Order To Activate Catridges

Hi,
I want to use Oracle Order To Activate(O2A) cartridges in following stack.
Seibel --->TIBCO(instead of AIA)--->OSM
According to requirement Provisioning COM cartridge order will be created directly by salesCOM cartridge instead O2A existing implementation in which Provisioning COM order is created via AIA (TIBCO in my case) .
So my question is:
Modifying O2A catridges for this scenario will be a good approach or not ?

From your question I understand/assume the following:
1.     Siebel will send a raw or an order of some other defined format (i.e. SiebelTibcoOrderX )
2.     The SalesOrderEBM will not be created or generated by AIA.
3.     Siebel will transport this order via Tibco.
4.     Not sure if the term “Provisioning COM” as this is little ambiguous; I assume that it means Siebel Sales Order via AIA and not the SOM order?
If the aforementioned understanding and assumptions are correct, following are my assertions:
1.     O2A’s OOTB SalesOrder cartridge will not be able to process SiebelTibcoOrderX.
2.     Modifying core O2A cartridge is not a good idea. (Requires design knowledge, etc.) May have upgrade implications.
3.     Creating a new cartridge to translate from SiebelTibcoOrderX to AIA SalesOrderEBM and then processing as before would probably be the best option.
To summarize, we provide OSM O2A cartridges to seamlessly integrate with Siebel, BRM and PH4C with the help of the integration layer AIA. This is an OOB solution. If you are using Tibco as the middleware, I would suggest you to create your own cartridges, based on your functional requirements.

Undestanding the OSM-AIA integration with SAF agent for RODOD 11gr2.

As we don't yet manage the sending of sales orders from AIA 11.1 to OSM 7.2, I looking for some information about the way AIA and OSM may be integrated with SAF agents.
During the installation of the O2A cartridges in Design Studio, the SAF agent has been choosed against the JMS bridge approach.
So in OSM's WebLogic domain,
- a SAF agent is created
- JMS resources are created in the oms module:
-      a Remote SAF Context describing the way to be connected to the AIA's weblogic instance
- the remote imported destintations i.e.:
AIA_CRTBO_OUT_JMSQ
     AIA_CRTCUST_OUT_JMSQ
     AIA_CRTFO_OUT_JMSQ
     AIA_CRTTTREQ_JMSQ
     AIA_FOPROV_OUT_JMSQ
     AIA_LFERROR_JMSQ
     AIA_UPDSO_OUT_JMSQ
     AIA_UPDTTREQ_JMSQ
Sending an order from Siebel to AIA fills an AIA_FOPROV_IN_JMSQ on the AIA database which seems to be not consumed because on the OSM side, no order is ssen in the oms_ws_requests queue.
So, we are wondering if the Order to cash PIP in AIA is incomplete or not. Should be a SAF-agent in AIA to send orders to OSM? Should we complete the current SAF-Agent in OSM to receive and send messages to AIA?
To integrate ASAP or UIM to OSM, it is recommended to define a SAF-Agent in OSM to send messages and a SAF-Agent in ASAP/UIM to reply to OSM. It lets me think that our AIA installation is incomplete.
On the other side, when JMS bridges are used in OSM in 7.0.2, a bridge called created AIA_2_CFS_CreateOrder_is defined to locate and consume the remote JMS queue AIA_CRTFO_IN.
In conclusion, we'd like some explanations on the way to integrate as well as possible AIA and OSM in a SAF context. It will help use quite a lot.

On OSM side should exist SAF agent for sending messages to AIA queue's and same on AIA side for sending to OSM queue's. You can even combine SAF agaent on one direction and bridge's in another direction but you'll have to do it manually in that case.
If you see message in AIA queue and not forwarding to OSM I would first check SAF agent on AIA side ( usr/pass + remote destination (OSM) )

Planned release of Order to Activate PIP

What is planned release date for AIA 2.5.1 for Comms or Order to Activate PIP for Comms? Is it planned with AIA 3.0? or AIA 2.5.1. AIA 2.5 does not include O2A PIP for Comms.

Hi Harman,
The fulfillment topology refers to the fulfillment systems that you need to perform orchestration against. Fulfillment flow here refers to the functions, and their dependencies, that is necessary to fulfill per classification of products. The decoupling principle is the goal when we design OSM, to allow fulfillment systems in your IT ecosystem, which is ever-changing over time, be decoupled away from the arrangement of functions.
Consider business process flows defined in a typical BPM technology. Whenever a topology change happens (e.g. provisioning stacks of different services are merged, or billing system instances are consolidated based on geographical regions), all the process flows of all products and bundle offerings would need to be changed, which is a huge ripple-effect problem.
But with OSM orchestration capabilities, system topology is taken care of as an orchestration stage in the decomposition. The beauty of the design, is that equivalent changes is simply a few changes in fulfillment system decomposition rules. These changes are products/bundles agnostic and flow-agnostic -- orchestration plan generation simply applies such changes when decomposing to all applicable fulfillment flows.
From an implementation point of view, as long as you are using orchestration stages with fulfillment system decomposition specified in cartridges such as the O2A, you inherit this great OSM design benefit.

Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether.

Remove facebook integration

Hi --
Is there a way to remove FaceBook integration from OSX ML either from a GUI service or from an environmenal setting at the shell prompt?
It really bugs me that after using Safari to visit financial / banking sites (after ALL cookies / history are deleted and empty), there is a Facebook cookie that seems to grow and grow.
When I try to remove this cookie, clear cache, etc, it is still there. There always seem to be 4 or so of these stubborn cookies that -- even after clearing history and cookies / cache -- seem to still hang around.
I have had some luck completely clearing "Top Sites" but these sites continue to populate with sites I do not visit -- ie, Facebook.
So here are my questions :-D
1. Is there a way to "opt out" of Facebook integration
2. Is there a way to turn off "Top Sites"
PS: I understand (?) doing Private Browsing might not put encrypted cookies on my system (which I have no idea what they are storing) -- It would be great to be able to say "accept cookies only from these SITES" etc. Private browsing frequently visited sites sort of defeats the purpose of storing settings for those sites as they are blown away once the browser is closed. I understand there is a value in tracking my online behavior ONCE I VISIT A SITE (like facebook, which I don't) ... but I see something completely different storing behavior when I have not specifically ENABLED tracking cookies or ever VISITED a site -- even after I have supposedly cleared them from Safari.
Seriously -- This really bugs me.

One option as suggested is giving credit memo. But I understand that you are facing a limitation for the same.
The alternative solution could be to pass an FI JV (This will be dobe by FI person).
Normally such cases will be very few. In that case FI JV is the best solution. If this is repetitive at short intervals, then it is recommended that you configure a separate Credit Memo Type for the same & have a separate pricing procedure in which all condition are manual condition, so that the pricing procedure can be used flexibily. Ofcourse all related configuration for same will be required, which is assumed to be known.

Error While Removing an CommerceItem from Order - ATG 10.0.3

I am not able to remove the commerce item from the order. I have used removeItemFromOrder method of CartModifierFormHandler and passed the id of commerceItem.
I am getting the below error.

When you remove and checkout, it basically updates the commerce items in the cache and since you did not synchronize, its possible that ur cache with order got messed up.
Your order might have already got messed in the database. Try deleting the order and try again after you synchronized and added transaction around it.

New iPad, can't install iTunes on Windows 7 in order to activate it (?!)

64 bit Windows, HP laptop. I have tried this several times and have done System Restore to before the first failed iTunes installation. No joy.
Alternate question; is there a way to use my new iPad without bothering with iTunes?

Before iOS 5, you need iTunes to activate your iPad. Did you install the right iTunes? There are 32 and 64 bit versions.
I would try completely removing all the Apple software and then reinstall using the following:

Firefox gave me a warning about a site and I set an exception. The site that was warned against has asked me for a screenshot, but I can't find how to remove the exception in order to replicate the warning message. How do I remove the exception?

The site was JustCloud.com, and it wasn't every page that triggered the warning. I've looked through Options: Security, Advanced, etc., and can't find access to the stored exception in order to remove it. Below is the URL of one page that triggered it:

Was the a pop-up on a sliding bar at the top of the browser page or a message on the web page?
Do you remember any content of that message?
Was it about a certificate (secure connection)?
Rename the file "permissions.sqlite" to permissions.sqlite.sav in the Firefox Profile Folder to remove all exceptions (cookies, images, pop-ups, software).
If renaming didn't help then you can undo and rename the file permissions.sqlite.sav to permissions.sqlite to get back the old exceptions.

Would the integration also propagate and sync/create relevant details such as Account, QuotItem, and Opportunity etc. in the Target application (CC&B)? This could be a case for EBF (Enterprise Business Flow).
EBS are entity based and by definition, do not span across entities (Account, Quote etc).

You simply need to correct your birth date? Don't create a new account.
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/
Sign in with your Apple ID and password. Choose "Password and Security" from the left column, answer your security questions, and fix your birth date under Select your birth date.

Changing Participating Application Details of AIA 2.4 Order to Bill PIP

we have installed AIA 2.4 with Order to Bill PIP. Now BRM and Siebel instance details are changed . Is there any way to change these details in AIA and make AIA communicate with new Instance Details w/o re installing the PIP .
Any pointers on this would be very helpfull.

1) For Siebel, you need to change the URL in the AIAConfigurationProperties.xml file for all occurences of SEBL_01.EndPointURI.
2) Also, the enterpriseServerName has to be entered in the InternalID column in the Systems tab under Setup in AIAUI
3) Change the Internal ID for BRM as well in the same UI.
4) Change the Connection pool details for the BRM JCA Adapter deployed from the EM Console
5) For the product sync and AQ information, change the datasources.xml file (OracleHome/j2ee/config) to point to the new BRM DB
6) The Consumers for the product sync should be redeployed after correcting the AQ Name(if the AQ name has changed)

Had to remove my battery in order to boot my Satellite A200

My Toshiba Satellite A200 laptop after allmost 4 years of usage at shutdown remained with the
"Power on led" lit on the systray and refused to boot when I hold pressed the Power Button.
When the Batttery was removed and I tried to boot with AC Power Adapter Cable it started up as usually
without any problem.
The model is A200-1M4
Model No: PSAEOE - 04E029GE
DC19V 3.4 A
Made in China CE.
Up to now my battery was recharging efficiently
and was holding the charge when unused for at least 5 days . When I
was pluging in the AC/DC Adapter the led was turning blue within a few
minutes, anyway it was never flashing amber.
Until recently with the AC/DC Adapter cable unplugged with my recharged
battery I could keep up working for at least one and a half hours.
Can I check the Battery condition before I replace it??
Should I be looking for some other defect to repair or does my battery needs replacement.
Can someone try to assist.

Finally I took the initiative to place again the old Battery into its nest and then power my laptop
with the AC/DC Adapter Power cable plugged in.
Then both the Battery and Power leds were lit in Blue color on the systray and when I pressed the Power
button rebooted and started as usually without any problem.
Still I dont know what caused this irregularity at shut down that blocked my system and obliged me
to work around in order to restore, luckily without having to replace with a new Battery, as mine is still
running strong with Battery icon on the systray indicating "fully charged".
Please consider this case closed and resolved.
