Removing an Extension

Question

Hi - I mistakenly downloaded and installed this extension to
close down a brower and now Dreamweaver 8.0 will not even open - an
error message comes up and then it shuts back down - how do I
uninstall this extension? Please help, I can even open the program
- I have reinstalled Dreamweaver 8.0 "fix files" and completely
uninstalled and reinstalled the entire program and is doing the
same thing. I think if I can uninstall it, that should fix the
problem??

If Dreamweaver is crashing on launch, you might have been
caught by a
very rare bug triggered by a file that's exactly 8192 bytes
or a
multiple thereof. Use Windows Explorer to locate the site
that you were
last working on, and move the files to a temporary location.
Try
launching Dreamweaver. If it starts up without problems, you
need to
locate the file that's causing the problem. If it's a text
file, such as
a web page or style sheet, just adding a few spaces to the
file in
Notepad, and resaving it, will eliminate the problem.
Of course, this might not be the cause of your crashes, but
it's worth
trying.
