Removing attachements, change and issues

Since this latest system update (Mail 8.2 (2098)), removing attachments suddenly NO LONGER puts the old copy in the trash. It doesn’t seem to go anywhere.
I need this capability as, often, when deleting attachments, the mail message turns to complete garbage. Now there is no way to get it back!!
[I would also love it if someone could address that problem, too, where you simple get a whole bunch of gobbledegook like "嗁鏉欕Z嗃iz��拽�<﹜�'甸��妆辐m歐!j��厢y≤潑�-蔠�聤萋订n窔� +t7毈…" right after selecting 'remove attahments' on a message (from the menu).

Actually, the initial problem still exists! [I thought it was solved but then realized it was on a computer where I had not updated the System software to 10.10.3. I simply can not see where it tosses the original message with the attachment -- maybe it just discards it. Again, I need to get these back as a LOT of the time, removing an attachment turns the message into hellish nonsense (as above).
I would still love a solution to both issues. [Or is the problem uniquely mine? -- doesn't seem like it given that it is a problem on all 4 of my computers, same mail, obviously.

If that code is inside the alert_mc object, then you can try...

Another way to do it would be to just have the alert_mc dispatch an event that you assign a listener for in the main, and have the main event handler function for that listener deal with removing the child and moving on its own timeline.

As soon as I saw it I recover the password and return the access to my iPad. But iPhone is not registered for my apple ID any longer. Can Apple help me somehow? I have all the documents and the iPhone box. Will they lock the iPhone and return me access to it. I'm sure it's been attached to another apple ID.
PS. the apple ID I'm using on the discussons is not the hacked one.

Disabling 'Change' and 'Delete' buttons in Attachment List in ME52N

Hi Friends,
The reuqirement is this:
A user attaches doucments ( using the Generic Object Services to attach document ) while creating/changing Purchase Requisition (ME51N / ME52N).
Now when any user goes to see the docuemnts attached to the PR, he selects the 'Attachement List' from the context menu, he should only be able to read it and should not be allowed to change or delete the document. For this we need to disable the 'change' and 'delete' buttons from the toolbar.

I have solved the issue Alhamdulillah by the foll. method:
1. Copied CL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST to ZCL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST
2. In ZCL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST there is a method called: CHECK_STATUS. I overwrote with my check;
on_mode_changed( 'D' ). --- For display
on_mode_changed( 'E' ). --- For edit mode.
3. In SGOS tcode, added VIEW_ATTA to point to ZCL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST

Have you tried turning off automatic transitions ? Choose file - project properties and follow the dialogue box to change duration with a slider. iMovie also doesn't allow a transition to be more than 50% duration of the clip its attached to. In other words if the clip is 4 seconds the transition cannot be more than 2 seconds and remember that relates to the first clip as the following clip (right side) is pulled back to overlay it.
Does this help. Perhaps you already know this ?

Im having ome issues with my attach movies and deleting them.
I can do it once, but then, if i use the function again they
pop up but cant make them delete again.
POP > DELETE > POP > DELETE(not deleting)

The problem is that people will do that create and remove

If you are hosting with Libsyn or most any other "Podcast" host you should be ok.

Again - this leter from Apple does not mean anything is wrong wth your show specifically - it is a generic letter going out to all podcasters.

Even it did not update in my user exit when I update from VBEP-WADAT. So, I did back calculation (considering route lead time) and updated Delivery date field VBEP-EDATU. It is simple. I have given the sample code as below.

Probably you have uncommented the call to super class when you reimplement the method on child class (z class)
I just implement the same thing now and it worked for me. Take a look:
1 - Modify the SGOSATTR table by SM30, just write a Z class (in my case CL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_CREATE) .
2 - Create/inheridt a subclass (not a copy) in SE24 of the standard class.
3 - Implement the method CHECK_STATUS in the z class. Note that the call to method on super class came commented. You only uncomment if you want to also execute a standard code in the super class.
Here is my code:

Mail attachment drag and drop issue

Been facing serious mail attachment drag-and-drop issue since 10.8 (if not from 10.7) and was disappointed to find the same behaviour still in 10.9.
When I drag and drop a picture file (from Finder for example) into a message window or onto the Mail.app Dock icon, the system's window management somehow gets confused: my next step is to click on the message window in order to start typing. However, the mouse click causes that very window to escape under all other open applications / windows. Further on, I dig under to find the escapee and click again: once more it escapes. This can go on for a few annoying rounds until gets solved in an unexplainable way. This behaviour in not consistent, but has happens in about 8 cases out of 10.
Apart from Mail.app I do not experience drag and drop issues of any kind.
Anyone else suffering from this?

I'm on OSX 10.8.2.

You have 10.6 on that machine, I suggest you stick with it for performance, third party hardware and software reasons as long as possible.
Consider 10.8 (not 10.7) when it's released, because 10.7 and 10.8 will require a new investment in software and newer third party hardware as it requires newer drivers the old machines won't have. (forced upgrade because of software, really nice of them)
