Removing default applications from my new iTouch

How do I remove some of the applications that came with my new iTouch? For instance, I would like to get the Voice Memos and You Tube off of my main screen. Preferably, I would like to uninstall them, but will settle for making them "hidden". Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If the applications were originally drag and drop installations you can simply drag them to the trash and empty. If they were installed by an installer there should be an uninstaller included. If you're not sure you should check with the software developer for instructions. In this case Google can be your friend.

how can I remove the application from your iPad at the same time and with the clouds?
I know you press the app icon until it starts shaking, then press the black cross in the upper left corner. This will remove it.
But still I will come in to the store as a bookmark Purchated I see it with the symbol of a cloud. And I would like to remove it for good. Under iOS 5.1.1 somehow I managed to do that (at least hide it). In iOS 6 I can not do that.

The only transition you can add this way is default cross dissolve. If the images are in the timeline, move the playhead to the beginning of the images, select them all, and drag from the timeline to the canvas to overwrite with transition.

How can I remove the applications from the Content Administrator

I had undeployed the applications from Content Administrator in two ways:
A:
1. Start the tool using the go.bat located in \usr\sap\<SID>\<Instance Name>\j2ee\admin folder
2. Log in with an Administrator user.
3. Under the Server node click Services-> Deploy.
4. In the runtime tab, on the right hand side screen click on the Applications checkbox. The list of all deployed applications appears.
5. Select the application and click on the Remove button.

How to use about:config to REMOVE Delta Search from my new tab

I am desperate to remove Delta Search from my new tab page. What do I do after I open about:config? I have done at least a dozen resets, have removed DS via add/remove, am running a virus scan at present...this is TERRIBLE, and there HAS to be a way to get rid of it. When I do a reset, the new tab page is what I WANT...my previously saved pages. However, when I CLOSE FF and reopen, the new page is, once again, Delta. Can you hear me SCREAM? Can you see my TEARS? Press and hold any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. You cannot delete any of the Apple built-in apps e.g. iPod, App Store, Game entre etc. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'
If the app is on your computer's iTunes then you should probably also either delete it from there as well, or un-tick it from your iPad's sync list when you next connect it, otherwise it might get put back on the iPad. As long as the app remains in the app store you can always re-download it for free in the future (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519).

Following problem :
I need to remove default value from table.
Example
CREATE TABLE MY_TABLE(
NAME VARCHAR2(50) DEFAULT 'NAME',
AGE NUMBER DEFAULT 0
Now even when I use MODIFY like
ALTER TABLE MY_TABLE MODIFY (NAME VARCHAR2(10) );
The default is still there:
SELECT DATA_DEFAULT FROM USER_TAB_COLUMNS WHERE TABLE_NAME = 'MY_TABLE';
Is there any way?

If a column has a default value, then you can use the DEFAULT clause to change the default to NULL, but you cannot remove the default value completely. That is, if a column has ever had a default value assigned to it, then the DATA_DEFAULT column of the USER_TAB_COLUMNS data dictionary view will always display either a default value or NULL

How to Remove Default Application

Can anyone tell me how to remove a default application that opens a certain file? I'd like OS X to prompt me to choose which application to use each time a certain new file is opened. It seems once you've set a default application it does not allow you to revert to the old setting. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

There doesn't seem to be a way to set "none" as the default application. OS X works very hard to assign an app to every file it can, but sometimes, as Jim has discovered, it gets it wrong. This seems to be most often because apps tell the OS what they can open & some older ones don't do it quite right, causing OS X to guess about some file types & incorrectly assigning them to the app.
Fixing this would be tricky. Individual files don't tell the OS what app to use unless you change the opening app for that file alone. If you use "Change All" that info is removed from the file (if it was there) & instead recorded in a preference file. But generally, the defaults are stored in the Launch Services database, which the OS maintains automatically.
It is possible to get the OS to rebuild that database, but doing so just fixes any corruption by once again checking the apps, so the same wrong guesses come back to bug you.
A few of us have been discussing Launch Services, the .plist, & how it works in another topic (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=258306) but as yet, it offers no answers that would help here.

Remove default value from dropdown list

I am currently working with Acrobat XI Pro version. I want to know whether it is possible to remove the default value from a dropdown list.
When the list has less than 4 items, it is possible to deselect the default value by pressing the whitespace below. However, when there are more items, this is not possible anymore.
I have read that you should include a whitespace as item in the item list, however, then you will see an empty list item when people are working with the pdf which is not preferable.
So, does anyone know how to remove the default value from a dropdown list?

Ok, I found a perfect workaround for my problem using FormsCentral for Acrobat. Here is what you should do:
Step 1:
-   Open FormsCentral
-   Create New Form (Choose Blank Form)
-   Click on the dropdown icon to create a new dropdown
-   Fill in the list items by clicking on the edit (you also can add a label if you want)
-   Click: File > Save as PDF Form...
Step 2:
-   Open the saved PDF (you now see a blank pdf with a dropdown menu)
-   Click: Tools > Forms > Edit Form (when a popup shows that you should save a copy of the document in order to make changes, press "Save as a copy" and open the pdf copy file with Acrobat)
-   Select the dropdown, copy the dropdown and paste it in the desired document
Now you have a dropdown menu without a default choice. Keep in mind that you cannot edit the items in the dropdown, because a default choice will be chosen and you have to use the pdf copy file again. As long as you don't click on a list item, it doesn't choose a default choice.
It is not a perfect solution, but it works for me.

Removing default applications

The title basically says it all...
I'm setting up this iPod Touch for my grandparents, and am trying to make it as simple as possible, so I'd like to remove applications they won't use like calculator, stocks, and maps... I tried holding down on an app icon until they "shake" but it doesn't appear that I can remove these apps using that. I also looked through the iPod settings, and in iTunes, but I can't seem to find a way to remove these apps from the home screen. Is there a way to remove these default apps?
Also, is there any way to increase the font size on the screen? I'd like to make sure it's large enough for aging eyes...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot delete the apps that come with iphone/ipod touch.
You can move them to another home page.
You can use the zoom feature:

Removing Software Applications from Leopard?

I am a new Mac convert so excuse my stupid question, but I want to remove a software application from my Mac. How do I uninstall it properly? Here is what I have done so far, I deleted the icon from the Applications folder. I am thinking it cannot be that simple. What else do I need to do or go to find other traces of the program stored within Leopard or my HD?

1. Normally, just dragging it to the trash is all that is needed.
2. Some apps have their own uninstaller utility. If so, use it.

How to remove Java Applications from "Add and Remove Programs" list?

I have deployed my Java applications (both JWS and Applet) via JNLP with allow-offline option enabled and without installer-desc option specified.
My questions are:
1. An entry is added to the Add and Remove Programs list after launching the application via JNLP. Is it due to the specification of JNLP or JWS? Is there anyway to prevent this behavior?
2. I removed my application by clearing the cache via Java Control Panel but the entry for the application is still listed in Add and Remove Programs. How can I remove the entry in the Add and Remove Programs?
I have tried following methods but neither works:
1.Go to Add and Remove Programs, and click [remove] button to the right of my application.
*Warning message like 'Application cannot be uninstalled completely' is thrown.
2.Follow instructions listed @ [Microsoft Online Support site|http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314481/en-us] to remove my application manually via Windows registry.
*Couldn't find appropriate registry entry to delete.

Can't remove default repository from EM
