Removing default music from Nokia 5300 track list

Hi all. I have a really frustrating problem. I have a Mac and put loads of music onto my 5300 Xpress Music using Bluetooth, as I can't use Nokia's PC software. Anyways, the Micro SD card that came with the phone came preloaded with some short ring tones or tracks of some sort that I really have no use for. The phone won't let me delete them. I really would like to exclude them from my playlist as every so often one of these tracks will pop up and I have to manually skip them. Annoying! How do I get rid of them or remove them from my playlist? Thanks!
My the way, I haven't been even able to customize my own playlist. I am only able to add music to the memory card via the phones Bluetooth connectivity. Thanks again, in advance, for your help!

Connect the phone to the PC (as MSD), browse to the folder where the ringtones are and delete them Hope it helps.

Problem transfering photo from Nokia 5300 to Mac

I am unable to transfer photos from my new Nokia 5300 to my MacPro. As soon as i connected the data transfer via USB, iPhoto opened up and give the option of transfering, but when i click start, it does not transfer at all. And make my computer hang sometimes. I try draging the files to the desktop but that doesn't work too.
Anyone having this problem? Please help!

OK Here is how to transform Music to Nokia 5300 phone from MAC
1.Go to settings and open connectivity
2.Make sure USB is plugged in
3. Go to USB data cable
4. It should give you the options of Nokia Mode, Music sync, and Data storage.
5. Select Data storage
6.When you do this iphoto will pop up. Dont worry!! close the i photo.
7. Look on Desktop and you will see the phone labeled as untitled.
8. Click it and you will see the my music folder. Thats it!!!
9. Now Drag the music from your i tunes Library to the folder.
You can do the same with video and pictures

Ipod 5 wasn't updating new playlists. Removed all music from iPod and ended up with 34 GB of OTHER. How do I remove this without doing a full restore?

iPod 5 was not adding new playlists when synching (plenty of space remained in memory for it). This happened around the time of the new update. I removed all music from the iPod and when I went to resync the selected playlists, my OTHER portion of memory jumped up to 34GB and now there is not enough space on the iPod to put all my music back on.
I've checked the usage of all the apps and photos, etc, it is pretty clear this is because of the music portion only.
Is there anyway of removing this information? Without doing a restore? It is not jailbroken either.

An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

Next, usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

How do I remove floating music from my iMovie '11 project?

I created a new project using iMovie '11. When I started adding a 2nd song, for some reason, the whole project was updated with songs from my iTunes Library automatically, which is not what I desired to do.
I deleted the songs multiple times and it seems to add more songs from a queue or floating music. So, no matter how many time I delete the music, there was no end to it.
Can you please help me and tell me how to remove floating music from my project? I did spent quite a few hours on putting together a vacation movie and do not want to restart all over again.

Open up the Music settings pane for the slideshow,
uncheck the Play music during slideshow checkbox or select a different song and then click on the Choose button.

Can't figure out how to remove select music from my iPhone 4 with the new iTunes

My old PC with all my music on iTunes died, and I need to remove some music from my iPhone 4 to make room for the new OS update. I downloaded iTunes on a different computer and tried to sync the iPhone to it, to move all the music on my iPhone to iTunes so I could deselect what songs I wanted to remove to make the storage space. I can't figure out how to do this with the new (non-user-friendly) iTunes update. When I sync the phone, the only songs that show up are the ones I have purchased on iTunes, but non of the songs/albums that I transfered from CDs. I don't want to reset my phone to delete ALL my music, just select songs/albums. Can anyone please help me figure out the new iTunes to be able to do this? It is driving me nuts and I'm getting really mad at Apple for their constant updates making things less easy to use!

iTunes match won't automatically remove content from your computer, if you want to do that you will need to do it manually yourself.

On your phone: Settings>General>Usage>Music...tap the Edit button...then the red minus sign. This will delete all music on your phone.

I need to remove default value from table.
Example
CREATE TABLE MY_TABLE(
NAME VARCHAR2(50) DEFAULT 'NAME',
AGE NUMBER DEFAULT 0
Now even when I use MODIFY like
ALTER TABLE MY_TABLE MODIFY (NAME VARCHAR2(10) );
The default is still there:
SELECT DATA_DEFAULT FROM USER_TAB_COLUMNS WHERE TABLE_NAME = 'MY_TABLE';
Is there any way?

If you use iTunes, connect the device to the computer, select the iPhone, go to the Music tab, remove the checkmark from that and sync. You will see a warning about removing music and then click OK. I know that works very well, I just did it on my phone and then synced my music back, I was having a little problem with album artwork. One minute everything was gone, and a few minutes later, I synced everything back.

Remove default value from dropdown list

I am currently working with Acrobat XI Pro version. I want to know whether it is possible to remove the default value from a dropdown list.
When the list has less than 4 items, it is possible to deselect the default value by pressing the whitespace below. However, when there are more items, this is not possible anymore.
I have read that you should include a whitespace as item in the item list, however, then you will see an empty list item when people are working with the pdf which is not preferable.
So, does anyone know how to remove the default value from a dropdown list?

Ok, I found a perfect workaround for my problem using FormsCentral for Acrobat. Here is what you should do:
Step 1:
-   Open FormsCentral
-   Create New Form (Choose Blank Form)
-   Click on the dropdown icon to create a new dropdown
-   Fill in the list items by clicking on the edit (you also can add a label if you want)
-   Click: File > Save as PDF Form...
Step 2:
-   Open the saved PDF (you now see a blank pdf with a dropdown menu)
-   Click: Tools > Forms > Edit Form (when a popup shows that you should save a copy of the document in order to make changes, press "Save as a copy" and open the pdf copy file with Acrobat)
-   Select the dropdown, copy the dropdown and paste it in the desired document
Now you have a dropdown menu without a default choice. Keep in mind that you cannot edit the items in the dropdown, because a default choice will be chosen and you have to use the pdf copy file again. As long as you don't click on a list item, it doesn't choose a default choice.
It is not a perfect solution, but it works for me.

5300 track list problem

Hello. I have a 5300 phone that works fine, except that when I (try to) open a track list the screen goes blank for a few seconds then the phone closes the music player and returns to the homescreen.
At first I thought there was a problem with the track list I made (via Nokia PC Suite), but in fact this happens whenever I try to open any track list.
Without a track list the music player can be very annoying because it's impossible to determine the order of songs to be played.
Anyone have a clue on how to fix this?
Or am I doing something wrong?

what do you mean with

Do you mean the dynamic built-in track lists like "recent" and "most played"?
If those fail, I would suspect a problem with the phone... suggest you either try a phone firmware update (even if just to reinstall the same version) with Nokia Software Updater; or return to the shop and complain.
