Removing default tool bar and menus

How do you prevent the default menus (Action, Edit, Query, Block, Record, Field, Window, Help) and default toolbar (print, enter query, execute query, next record, previous record etc.) from being displayed in Oracle Forms Runtime in Forms 6?
Thanks for any help!

In addition, you can attach your own toolbar vertical or horizontal from forms property pallette. Of course you must have designed your application toolbar prior to attaching it. For more information on how you can make your own toolbar, check out the forms help files, there is a good info there. If you need more help I'll be glad to assist.

  • I want to get rid of Yahoo as my default tool bar, and everything it came with.

I was asked some time ago if I wanted to choose Yahoo as my toolbar, and I accidentally said yes. I want the original toolbar back, with the Google search box, no animated weather, facebook ebay tabs, etc. Going to Customize and choosing default settings didn't do it. Help!

Okay here it is. I accidentally downloaded Babylon onto my computer. It overrode the Fire Fox search on Mozilla and it for some reason will not allow me to Google anything. I now get a 404 NOT FOUND if I try to get to the Google site.

  • I hate firefox 4 they took the good stuff out and put in crazy stuff. Like removing the tool bars and there are other bugs. why change a good thing. If it ain't broke don't fix it

I'm going to leave firefox if these issues aren't fixed

You can make Firefox 4.0.1 look like Firefox 3.6.17, see numbered items 1-10 in the following be sure to start at #fx4interface in the last 1/3 of the page, see [http://dmcritchie.mvps.org/firefox/firefox-problems.htm#fx4interface Fix Firefox 4.0 toolbar user interface, problems (Make Firefox 4.0 look like 3.6)]

  • Adobe Reader display page and text in tool bar and options too large.  How can this be reduced?

My Adobe Reader (ver. XI) page for viewing and manipulating docs and the text in tool bar and menus is too large and I cannot reduce its size.   I cannot add but a few functions on the tool bar without them reverting to the drop down.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe XI and that has not helped.  Do not have this problem with other software so I know its not the resolution settings of computer.
Any way to reduce the size of the "viewing page" and its text?  I can change the size of the doc I am viewing but not the items of the page that displays the doc.
    Thanks.

Sounds that you installed a Persona.
You can uninstall your current Persona and revert to the Default theme (Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • I lost my bottom tool bar and the apps I was running down there. I need to have it back but your update removed something that I use.

I have run a Hebrew calendar that sits in the bottom tool bar. I have used this calendar and rely on it, but your Firefox 5 update has removed the bottom tool bar and I want my Hebrew calendar restored. What good is updating a piece of software that works by creating something that does not work? I will stop using and stop recommending my end users to switch to Firefox if you keep removing parts that are needed.
I am help desk support for a large federal government agency and until you broke Firefox with this latest update, I would suggest that my users switch to Firefox, but unless this bug is fixed I will stop doing that.

In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
To open your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.
do shell script "/usr/bin/defaults write com.apple.iWeb iWebDefaultsDocumentPath -boolean no"delay 1

You can download an already compiled version with this link: iWeb Switch Domain.
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

  • How do i remove extra tool bars that i've added?

I've added two tool bars, and one of them changed the google search engine to a yahoo, and it just wastes space. I'd like to remove both of them but i can't find on the website how. I just need to know if there's somewhere i can click and it just goes away or if it's a long process, and if it is a long process it'd be great to know the steps.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
