Removing Directories in Connection Explorer

Under Locations->Databases->Oracle->'Schema Name'->Directories I have a directory that I want to remove. When I right click on it there isn't a delete option. I went into the schema itself in SQL Developer and deleted the physical directory yet it still shows up in Connection Explorer. How does one go about removing a directory that is no longer needed in Connection Explorer?

I've actually tried to unregister the location previously; as a matter of fact the location doesn't even exist anymore. I still don't have a delete option upon right click.
I tried unregistering a current location and then went to Connection Explorer to see if I could then delete this Directory and I can't do that either.

Put it in DFU and do an update. This will not only update it, but it will remove all settings. DFU = hold menu+play while plugging it in.

Can't remove locked VPN Connections installed by HotSpot Shield

How can I remove locked VPN connections under Network? (OS 10.9.5)
HotSpot Shield installed three VPN connections under Network settings. I no longer subscribe to the service and have removed the application, but I'm unable to remove the network connections.
Three VPN connections were created:
"US Server"   utahmaps.us
"GB Server"   jacketmagazine.us
"JP Server"    brainphotos.us
However, all these connections have the padlocked icon beside them, and I don't have the permissions to delete them.
I'm including a screen capture of one of the settings, for reference.
I can set them to inactive, but would like to remove them altogether.
Can anyone offer any assistance?

I have been looking for this answer also... I found it yesterday. if you go to profiles in system preferences, you will be able to delete those completely.

Connection explorer is not visible

I installed OWB 10g R2. First time when I opened Design Center and connected to design repository, the connection explorer window was visible.
But yesterday after login, I am not able to see connection explorer window.
I tried checking/uncheck connection explorer under Window menu option,but no luck.
Pls help.

On key-exeqry you have to program. Delete all other trigger codings for checking your condition.
It dint work on key-exeqry.
I tried key-exeqry on form trigger, block (enqacmdtl) and also on field(:enqacmdtl.enqno) , but none of them worked.
It did not display the message.
I have a 'PUSH-BUTTON:EXEC_QUERY.
For EXEC_QUERY, Trigger : WHEN_BUTTON_PRESSED;
I added the following code:

On the field :enqacmdtl.enqno, when i enter the '2013%' and press 'EXEC_QUERY', it works fine.
but when i enter '2006%' and press 'EXEC_QUERY', it shows the following error
FRM-50016: Legal characters are 0-9 - +E. It does not display the message also.
but when i enter the complete number, '2006580002', then it works fine , that is it displays the message (The Rating is not present for the present year and the previous year).
The problem is because of '%', only when i put in the restricted data (which does not satisfy where condition).
How do i solve this?

[SOLVED] Removing "auto eth0" connection in networkmanager.

Is there a possibility to remove "auto eth0" connection in nm? When I try to remove this connection I get this output:
"Usuwanie połączenia nie powiodło się: nm-settings.c.333 - Read-only connections may not be deleted.."

Just add a new connection, configure it as you wish and make it your default. It's been discussed here aswell: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=64996.
But if anyone is able to remove it completely, I'd be glad to find out how.

How to remove unused datasource connections in Report Builder 3

Removing a Wlan connection

Can anybody tell me how to remove a wlan connection from my E51 phone?
I accidentally tried to connect to a neighbours wifi network instead of mine. Now, when I browse for an available network at home, the phone tries to connect to the neighbours network (that doesn't work) in preference to mine. In the phone's list of available connections, both our wifi and the neighbours wifi have the clover leaf symbol next to them.

Just go to tools->settings-.access points & delete what you think your neigbor's SSID.

I was reading the tomcat DBCP and happened to see that it offers a property called "removeAbandoned" which removes abandoned db connections.
Does Sun java webserver have something similar to this? I could not see anything similar to this property in the docs

Hello there, Martine288! Are you referring to devices connected into the USB ports of your Sony VAIO? If so, kindly follow these steps: Open up File Explorer (the Folder icon). Once you've opened up File Explorer, you will see all the USB connected devices under Computer. Right click on the device that you'd like to safely remove. Once you've right clicked on the device that you would like to safely remove, you'll get options of what you would like to do with the connected USB Device. There should be an option named Eject. Once you've clicked on Eject, you should get a message on your screen that says "Safe To Remove Hardware: The device can now be safely removed from the computer." In addition to what TheSonyFanGirl1 taught you, let me show you the other way on how to eject the USB device from your computer.
That icon is located on the lower right side of the taskbar, when you click the triangular icon (with the arrow to the right) the USB icon will show up just like on the image. Left click on the USB icon then it will show you the options to eject the USB device, like what TheSonyFanGirl1 told you on the other post.
Now, you were asking if it's safe not to safely remove it?
If you remove the device when it’s in use (reading or writing), there is a possibility that the file will be corrupted.
If you just plug it in, view some files and closes everything, i guess you can pull it out without ejecting it.
Ejecting it properly is simply an extra level of security preventing you from destroying your own files.
Doing so causes the files to close gracefully preserving your data.
Again, it may or may not harm your files but it's better to be sure that it will NOT harm.

How to remove directories under Loops Search Setup?

Hi, I want to move my sound effects loops to an external firewire drive to free up 20+ GB. In Soundtrack Pro when I go into Loops Search Setup, where the list of Directories being indexed is displayed, the "-" icon at the top for "remove directory" is greyed out--no matter which directory I select. How do I get this to work?

I am working on a stand alone SNC system , and I am testing it .
We have not installed Live cache in this system
We are creating master data directly in SNC system
never faced issue while creating location , Business partner
But while creating Product and location product as master go following warning message " CONNECTION TO LIVE CACHE FAILED"
once I click on CREATE , but if I press enter instead it takes me to following screens for master creation
We have even deactivate the live CACHe but still get this warning message,
H0w can i remove this warning mesaage and get in the following master creation screens directly

IN the above issue i mentioned , forgot to tell you that once i try to save product or location product it again give me the same error and doent have the master
but once SNC is a stand alone system should save it even with out the live cache
there should be some setting to make this system not depended on live cache and still save all the data

Export to Excel: Row Auto Height Removed on Data Connection Refresh

Hi all,
When I perform a Data Connection Refresh on an Excel workbook exported from SharePoint it removes the row auto height I had in place, hiding valuable information. This is an additional column I added to perform some calculations.

Hi Kelly,
As I understand, you have a SharePoint list and click export to Excel under List tab. Then the list is exported to Excel spreadsheet.
Generally speaking, all field column width and height keep in the same size when the list is exported to Excel. In Excel, under PAGE LAYOUT tab > Scale to Fit, make Width and Height to be Automatic and Scale to 100%.
Then the cell should be good. If there is some column still exceed the width of Excel cell, please right click the cell > Format cells > Alignment > Text control, click Wrap text to increase the cell size to fit the text, or click Shrink to fit
to shrink the text.
