Removing disc error message

An error message keeps coming up when I insert a disk: "the disk was not properly ejected...."
The disc was properly ejected!!! But the message keeps popping up and interferes with work and saving to disc.
How can I remove or prevent this message from continuing to appear"

Can you be more specific about what is happening and what you
want to happen? UIComponents have built-in behavior to show a red
border and display an error tooltip on a mouse rollOver when
errorString is set to a non-empty string. I don't fully understand
when you want the error tooltip to disappear. You can control the
appearance/behavior of the error tooltip by adding a .errorTooltip
style declaration (look at defaults.css for the defaults). One
thing you can customize is the display duration of the error tip.
If you want to customize the behavior of your component when the
errorString is set, then you can subclass your component and
override the errorString setter.

Windows XP installation "Disc error" message

I am trying to install Windows XP Pro w/SP2 on my Macbook Pro, running 10.5.6. After partitioning my disc through Boot Camp, I restart with my Windows disc and reach the screen where I have to select the correct partition. After selecting partition 3, I reach a black screen that says, "Disc error. Press any key to restart." None of the keys respond, and I'm forced to hold down the power key. When I try and reboot off the XP disc, the same error message appears. Apple tech support was of no help. Anyone???

Restoring Library from Backup Discs Error Message (69)

I Backed Up my entire purchased library onto 4 CD-R Discs.
I had to reboot my system due to hard drive crash, I downloaded iTunes again and put in the first Backup Disc. It gives me an unknown error message (69) and cannot read the discs.
How do I get my songs back?

Strange disc error message- OS 10.4.3 upgrade attempt

In attempting to upgrade from OS10.2.8 to 10.4.3, I get the following error message when running the Disc Utility- Repair Disc from the installation CD-ROM: "Incorrect number of thread records" The disc repair fails and so does the OS installation. This error did not show up when I ran Disc Utility from my original OS Installation Disc.
I have an aftermarket RAM chip installed. Is that the problem? If not, any ideas?

Actually I have just checked my problem and as soon as I start Disc Utility I get a message: ' Disc Utility started, but a background process needed in disc utility didnt start properly' so I may have to ask a Disc Utility question.

I cannot reinstall itunes. One version cannot be removed and error message Need new data entry to include itunes.msi

Need a little help. I have had itunes forevere but can get it to reinstall.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

I am running?

I see this error messages in the client browser. I see them when the ISAPI plugin
can't see the backend server temporarily or if there is an Internal Server Failure,
ISAPI plugin. I believe this is in the WebLogic IIS Bridge.

Unable to read or write to disc error message

Just received Ipod 5G 30G as a gift. I have had no problem transferring music, and have converted several tv shows to itunes using tivo software. When I try to transfer a show to ipod, it gets about 3/4 of the way finished and then gives me the cannot write or read to disc error. Have tried reloading everything, different USB ports and looking for conflicting software. No luck. Very frustrating. Can anyone please help make Christmas a little better....

Macbook Pro Startup Disc Error Message

I keep getting the "Your Mac OS X startup disk has no more space available for applications memory" error statement, but, even after deleting around 60% of my files, it still keeps giving me that, and some of my applications won't open. I don't really know much about computers, but I've done everything I can think of + some online suggestions, but nothing has worked so far. What should I do?
In case it helps, it is a 13 inch screen, and I bought it in early 2010.

It says I have 0 KB for Audio, Movies, Photos, Apps, and Backups (which is definitely not true for any of these), and Other has 249.11 GB.
I have tried scanning for viruses, restarting my computer, and a few other vague things that didn't really seem to apply to my situation but were the best I could find. I also tried updating my computer but it said there wasn't enough space. And sometimes something about virtual memory comes up, but I assume it's just part of the same issue? And what is this "Other" stuff?

Laptop reboot failure, reboot disc error message found

My MacBookPro failed to restart after I just installed new software. It black screens & provides the following MSG: No bootable device -- insert boot disc and press any key
How do I get my laptop to restart? I have no bootable disc or portable DVD drive. Can someone please advise?

It's trying to boot from a damaged Boot Camp volume. Hold down the option key at the startup chime and select the OS X boot volume. Then select it again the Startup Disk preference pane.

How to stop receiving "AdobePremiereElements.exe - No Disk" error message at start-up

I upgraded from Premiere Elements 9 to 13 at Adobe. Install went without error, but each time I call up the program a window pops up entitled "AdobePremiereElements.exe - No Disk" with the following text within the window: "There is no disk in the device. Please insert a disk into drive \Drive\Harddisk1\DR1." I can eventually get this window to remove after repeated attempts, and the program seems to be running fine. Would appreciate knowing how to stop such nonsense and remove the annoyance. Thanks.

Thanks for the good news that the OldFilm.AEX file is gone and no more No Disc error message.
To update 13 to 13.1, you need to use an opened project's Help Menu/Updates.
Have you done that, and the message was that you were up to date already?
To check what version you have
Premiere Elements Editor. Help Menu/About Adobe Premiere Elements. The screen that then displays should show 13.1 if updated from 13 to 13.1.
That Help Menu/Updates location should let you take are of the Elements Organizer updating from 13 to 13.1.
Nonetheless, you can check on Elements Organizer Help Menu/Adobe Elements Organizer to assure that the screen that displays shows 13.1 instead of 13.

Error Message - Moving a Folder

Please help! I just tried to move a folder from my portable hard drive to my MacBook Pro desktop. Therefore, I used the following key combination: "Command + C" and "Option + Command + V". For some reason an error message appears, and I am not able to continue the moving process. I attached the error message as a photo to this question. The Trash actually seems to be completely empty. Nothing seems to be in the trash, and I am not able to remove the error message. When I click "OK" nothing happens. Additional I still can not move the actual file to my MacBook Pro desktop.
Please let me know what to do. Thank you very much for your help.

You can try and find the locked items and unlock them.
Get info (CMD+i), under "General", there's a "locked" checkbox.
Copy and paste is an odd way to move files, but if it works. I'd still rather drag and drop. But maybe that's showing my age (that was not an option until recently).

Service Battery error message for a battery that looks ok

I have a 13 inch Macbook Pro with model number 5,5 and after upgrading my hard drive to a WD scorpio black 750GB and also adding 8 GB of Kingston memory I get a Service Battery error message. My OS is 10.6.8. The strange is that my battery is in a fairly good condition. I did check with coconut battery and it looks ok. I also add a print screen.
Does anyone knows how can I remove this error message ?
Do I have to replace my battery ?

Service battery means replace battery as soon as possible.
Reset SMC and see whether it changes the notification.

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)
