Removing facetime login

I'm trying to migrate my face time id from one mac book pro to another how do I get rid of the first login so I can sign up with the other machine.

Go to Settings/FaceTime.  Tap "Account" (it should be displaying the current logged in account which in my case is my email address).  Select "Sign Out" from the menu that appears.  You will be sent to the Sign In screen.  If you already have another account set up, tap the line that has the name of the account you just signed out of and enter the name of the account you want to sign into.  Enter the password and tap "Sign In".  On the next screen tap "Next" and that should do it.

    Signing In.. stays for ever.
No problem signing in with my Apple ID in iTunes or any Web Browser.
By the way I didn't mistype anything in case you wanted to ask.
It seems every time Apple tries to merge an iPhone app with OS X it creates problems.

An additional note... I realized later that the iCloud id with which I was signed into the MacBook was now different ([email protected]), when I got errors trying to sign into FaceTime with [email protected]  However, when I sign into FaceTime using [email protected] (same as the iCloud login), FaceTime works fine.

  • I accidently removed facetime on my IPad, how do I recover this

    Hey all.
So, in the settings, I made a mistake, I removed FaceTime and everything related to this has vanished. From the camera options on my contacts, to the actually facetime button, and I want to get it back. How would I do this?

    Check: Settings - General - Restrictions - FaceTime = ???

    (1) Look at *Chapter 26* here -> http://manuals.info.apple.com/enUS/iPhone_iOS4_UserGuide.pdf
According to the info on page 213, if you have a "unified" contact, you can "Edit - Unlink" the one you want to eliminate. Then you can delete the contact you do not want without losing the one you want to keep.
Not a unified/linked contact; no link at the bottom of the contact info.
    (2) If a "Unified" contact is not causing your difficulty, we will need more information.
How you remove FaceTime contact information depends on the kind of contact you have and whether the contact is for an iPod touch or another iPhone.
As explained in the "Additional Information" here -> http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4319 :
     • If the FaceTime contact is for an iPod touch, it will be an email address.
     • If the FaceTime contact is for another iPhone, it will be the iPhone's cell number.
Is the FaceTime contact info you are trying to remove an email address or a iPhone number?
Not an iPhone or iPod (it's an HTC Wildfire with Android). He has a normal cellphone number and an email addressat hotmail.co.uk
Note: the double listing is in favourites for the phone app, and the contact is not doubled-up in the Contacs app (just noticed now).
Neither of those articles were relevant to removing the "double listing" in favourites.

  • Fix for iMessage/Facetime login error following iOS 7 update

Go into Settings. Correct your Date/Time settings because the update threw them off. This is common with apple updates. It will fix your iMessage/Facetime login errors.

This won't work for the iphone 5...

Could you somebody to help me to removing the login password?
    thanks.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
If you don't want to put your password every time you start the computer, first of all, look at the bottom left corner of that window. Here, press the padlock and type your user password. You need that because it's a security feature, so not all users can modify them.
Then, just unmark "Disable automatic login", so your Mac won't ask you for your password after starting up anymore

  • How do I remove the login?

    Hi,
How do I remove the login authentication on my application in APex?
I want them to go straight to the form?
    Cheers,
    S

I hope I got this right...
On the page attributes form, there is a security section - set authorization scheme to "no page auth. required" and set authentication to "page is public"
Update: Guess not ;-) I have a page in my otherwise authenticated app that is wide open and for that one page, I did the above steps, but on re-read I see he asked about the whole app.

  • HT4623 I ACCIDENTLY REMOVED FACETIME FROM MY IPHONE, HOW CAN I GET IT BACK?

I ACCIDENTLY REMOVED FACE TIME FROM MY IPHONE, HOW CAN I GET IT BACK?

It is not possible to have removed FaceTime from your phone. FaceTime is not an app on the phone. First, make sure that it's enabled in Settings>FaceTime>On. Then, to make a FaceTime call, go to a contact and tap the "FaceTime" button.
Make sure that FaceTime is not turned off in Restrictions. Settings>General>Restrictions.

  • How do I uninstall Messages from OSx or remove from Login Items

After installing the OSx 10.9.2 update, I've been getting popups to sync my contacts to Messages. I do not use Messages and do not want to be bothered with the prompts every time I turn on my computer. I've tried seeing if it can be removed from Login Items under my Account, but it does not show up. I've tried uninstalling it, but have found it to be "required" for OSx. PLEASE, can anyone help me get rid of this?

Tap on the trash bin in the mail app
    Tap edit at the top
Tap delete all at the bottom
What problems are you having as this is a very simple process?

  • Ipad stuck at FaceTime login

My new iPad was first stuck at the FaceTime login. Without explanation, it is now stuck at the iCloud login. I don't use either feature, and hav eno idea how to get past the problem. I never established a password for either.
    please advise

You might be able to solve this by resetting the iPad. Give it a try
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that didnt work, close all of the apps in the multitasking display and then reset the iPad again.
In order to close apps in iOS 7, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.

  • Should Apple remove FaceTime as a preloaded app on their iOS 6 and offer it as a FREE download on the app store to prevent AT&T from forcing its customers to change data plans?

So AT&T states they are legally allowed to restrict the use of FaceTime over cellular data solely based on the fact that the FaceTime feature is a preloaded app on the device not a downloaded one. I say we request that Apple remove it as a preloaded App and offer it as a Free download on the App store to accommodate it's customers from having to deal with greedy corporations that implement unfair and unlawful rules on their devices.
