Removing help icon from LoginProvider

I am new to Sun Portal Server 7.1 Update 1, and am looking for a way to remove the 'help' icon from the LoginProvider for the devauthlessanonymous user. I am making use of the Developer's Sample portal that comes bundled with the product, and want to eliminate all icons that appear in providers/containers/channels.
Within PSConsole, for the have updated the helpURL property to be "" instead of the default en/desktop/login.htm, per the Portal Server 7.1 Technical Reference guide. After doing so, the icon remains but instead directs the user to login to the web server doc root (e.g. /porta/docs).
Are there any other parent provider/container/channel helpURL fields that I need to update as well, or do I need to enter a different value for the helpURL field in the LoginProvider for the devauthlessanonymous user?
Thanks.

are you building a custom one? Couldn't understand what text you have around it. I dont have anything in my portal (default one).
Welcome <User Name> My Account Log Off                    <help image> Help | Search
This is what i have in my out of box.

  • How do I remove padlock icon from all my files?

    On one of my drives, every single file has a little padlock icon superimposed over the file icon. I recall when I did a clean install of windows 7 RC over my Vista install, I wasn't getting write access to the drive so I had to take ownership of the drive and mess with the security settings before it started working normally.
    I have to admit, I find the security settings in all versions of NT mystifying... For instance, although my account is in the administrators group, having full access to administrators never seems to work. I always have to add my individual user account and explicitly give it full access.
    In any case, I can't remember exactly what it took, but after messing around with the security settings for a while, I eventually was able to have full access to the drive and have no problems reading/writing/deleting files and folders, but there's the padlock icon still on everything.
    Can anyone explain how to get rid of it, and/or maybe point me to a good, clear, understandable guide on how to properly set NTFS permissions.
    Thanks!

  • Howto remove apple icons from home screen

    Hello!
    How do i remove all icons from home screen (include apples default icons), and just show the application icon for the program that should be used in our warehouse?

    The icons of the homescreen reflect the top line of those located on your main menu.
    So, you will need a different theme that has the features you desire.

    Hi Malkit,
    You can check Icon in Thing Type like COD_Account__TT screen.
    Once you are in TT screen just go to "Controller" and select "Thing Type Data" from left side pan.
    But how to remove it I don't have any idea.

  • Removing stocks icon from front screen

    I don't have any stocks and shares. Unfortunately. Is there any way I can remove this icon from the front screen of the iPhone? Grateful for any suggestions.

    If you do not have any stocks, etc., just leave the iCon there.
    Just don't utilize it. It is not that you need the space for another app or there is no other room on the screen for adding additional iCons if Apple so desires.

  • How to remove an icon from customize tool bar

    I deleted an icon fromtool bar. I then opened up "customize toolbar" to see if I could remove this icon but it was not moving. Is there a way to remove this icon from my customize tool bar?
    I am on OS X Yosemite.

    Try clicking and holding the icon while holding the command key down. Drag it from the toolbar.

  • How do I remove an icon from the dock of an iMac 10.9.5.?  Dragging doesn't work although I have tried a number of different places.  I recall right clicking used to give me a remove option.

    How do I remove an icon from the dock of an iMac Maverick, 10.9.5?  I've tried dragging different places: desktop, finder list etc.  No luck.

    Drag up towards the centre of the screen & hold for a second or so. The icon will have the 'smoke cloud' appear, let go & it will be removed.
    There should also be a 'Remove from Dock' option in the popup menu. It is in the 'Options' section . ctrl+click will 'right click' if right clicking is disabled.
    If this is not possible the Dock is locked (this may happen on a 'Managed Mac' normally setup by a company or school etc). See your tech support in this case.

  • How do you remove buttons icons from a large pdf all at once?

    How do you remove buttons icons from a large pdf all at once? I have a 1400 + pg doc that I am updating. It has icon buttons to return to the home page on each page but they were not duplicated properly and when you scroll through the doc, the buttons dance around. Now I want to redo these buttons but hate the idea of having to go to each page to delete the icon button so I can start new. Can it be done all at once?

    It's probably worth adding to try67's suggestion above that, if you're using the first option, you need to make sure the page display is continuous. (If you've got it set to view a single page only, Command+A will only select the fields on the active page.)

  • Why did Apple remove flag icon from iPhoto '11?

    I just updated to iPhoto '11 and there are a few interesting changes.  One is that Apple removed the "flag" icon from the app.  I wish they hadn't done that because I use that a lot and don't want to have to go to the dropdown menu to flag a photo.  Does anyone know if you can put the flag icon back? I don't see anyway to customize the iPhoto tools.  Thanks.

    You are very welcome.  I'm happy you saw my post, and thanks for posting back and crediting me with a This helped me.  You deserve the real credit because your post gave me the drive to search for a better solution than the command-period shortcut even though the removal of the flag icon in iPhoto '11 has bugged me ever since I first starting using it.  I found an article where the author told about the gray flag icon on the top left corner of photos in the thumbnail view, but also criticized that it isn't in the view you really use to review pics.  The author then went into the command-period shortcut option.  What the author didn't mention and I brought to the solution was maximizing the zoom when in the thumbnail view.  I gave myself a pat on the back for that one!  lol
    Have a great weekend, PainterLady!

  • Remove Help Icon

    Hi,
    I am customizing the TopBar View and I was wondering how you would remove the help icon?? I want to keep the link but not have the image.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi Satish,
    What I usually do is check the element in the browser's developer tools - for e.g. Chrome's "Inspect Element". This way I can identify the id of the element in the ADF Faces source file (.jsff).
    In the folderViewer case the element id was "cilhelp" and the tag in the .jsff is below
    <af:commandImageLink rendered="#{o_w_doclib_UIUtils.inSpaces}"
                                       partialSubmit="true"
                                       icon="/adf/webcenter/helptopics_ena.png"
                                       hoverIcon="/adf/webcenter/helptopics_ovr.png"
                                       depressedIcon="/adf/webcenter/helptopics_dwn.png"
                                       shortDesc="#{dlBndl.HELP_BUTTON_TEXT}"
                                       id="cilhelp">
                    <rh:helpLauncher helpTopicId="doclib_cs_doctf"/>
                  </af:commandImageLink>Also, I have all the webcenter jars (from JDeveloper) extracted into a folder. This way I can quickly do a text search to find the file that I need and makes it easier to find the file in the customization project.

  • I hate that with ios 7 my bookmarks show up on the safari home screen. Is there a way to remove the icons from the screen without deleting my bookmarks completely?

    I have recently updated to ios 7. On my safari home screen there are my favorites listed. I absolutely hate it. Is there anyway to remove the bookmarks from the safari home screen without deleting my bookmarks completely? I am resisting the urge to throw the whole **** thing away and buy another tablet. Please help me! I usually love the updates but I feel ios 7 is more than I can bare. If I wanted Window's crappy format I would have bought a Microsoft product!

    On your safaris home screen is a square icons consisting of your favorites and the IOS 7 favorites ( Disney,Apple,Yahoo,Etc) and I knew I wouldn't use these so I wanted to learn how to delete them. So, after messing around a few times with them, I realized how easy it was to delete them. All you have to do is go to the top right corner of your homepage and click on the book icon (found left of the cloud icon). Once you click on it, your history for safaris searches should come up. On the top left corner above your history should be " <Bookmarks " written in blue. Click on that and a list consisting of these should come up ( top to bottom of list ) FAVORITES / HISTORY / GOOGLE /BING / IPAD USER GUIDE. Click on FAVORITES. Your list on the favorites on your home screen should come up. Simply slide over the item to your left (EX.. Yahoo) and a DELETE button in red should come up. Click delete and your done, the icons should disappear on your home screen. Only bad is that you have to delete them from your favorites too.
