Removing Hyperlinks from an Adobe Muse CC site

Hello,
I built this site in adobe Muse CC 2014
NextGenFranchising.org
It seems to be having some redirecting issues and directing to a ww3 site.
In the Hyperlinks portion of the top menu within Muse, it still lists all of the hyperlinks. Is it possible to remove all of the hyperlinks listed in the site and replace or update them?

Ah, you want to delete not really the hyperlinks, but the linked files! That is quite easy!
• Open the assets panel and click onto the "sort" icon.
• Look for the category "upload". There you will find all your upload-files listed.
• Clicking on one of these files activates the thrash icon.
• Click onto the thrash icon and the file will no longer be uploaded.

Unable to see a font in Adobe Type Kit from within Adobe Muse

While I am able to install a font, Fertigo Pro from Adobe Type Kit, am unable to see the same font in Adobe Type Kit from within Adobe Muse.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. From http://help.typekit.com/customer/portal/articles/1189216-introduction-to-desktop-fonts-fro m-typekit: You are now able to sync fonts from Typekit to your desktop via Adobe Creative Cloud and use them in all your applications for web mockups, print design, word processing, and more.
Using of a font for web mockups is not the same as using it as a web font on a live website. The two uses are covered by different font licenses.
You can use a desktop synced font in Muse as a system font and export it as an image. But to use a Typekit web font in Muse is not currently supported (though you can try the Muse Insider workflow referred to in the other forum post I mentioned above).
Hope this clarifies things a bit.

Trying to copy a single page from one Adobe Muse site to another Adobe Muse site?

Is there a way to copy a single page from one site to another within Muse (both muse sites)? What exactly does the "Export Page" direction do? I can't seem to determine how to "import" that page?

By default there's no automated way to move page from one site to another within Adobe Muse. However, you may manually copy the content of the page and paste in place on the new page you created in another muse site.

As far as your another query is concerned, the export page option you see as shown below :
is used when you publish the site to the hosting service and if you un-check this option the page won't be uploaded to the hosting service or won't be exported.

To answer my own question about the image that appears to be responsive and stays to one side of the browser. They simply took a full width container with image fill (which you only end up seeing one half of - so plan/crop the photo accordingly). Then they did another full width container on top of that one and filled it with an SVG they created in Illustrator - half solid color, half transparent - and set it to "scale to fill" at the center position. It creates a responsive "photo window" effect. They also have and SVG that is reversed so the left side is the photo window. That's all it takes!
I got this info from a new Muse Themes template ( Adobe Muse Education Template by MuseThemes.com | School Website ) released today, which is VERY similar to the Ike's Bike Shop layout. It's worth checking out and/or buying because there is a lot of nifty tricks included in this one. Plus its a nice clean template to work with. BTW, I have a yearly subscription and it's been more than worth the cost.

This is not possible using an inbuilt feature of Muse, however you can look for code (javascript widgets) online that render such effects and add them to your Muse site using the Insert HTML feature.
All it requires is adding the code in the correct place for it to work.

Twitter feeds have disappeared from my adobe muse site

I recently updated my site with a new hyperlink on one page only, I had on each page some HTML elements (these are twitter supplied standard HTML placeholders for feeds) which the codes are still there the elements still show in the pages in the muse file but do not appear on the preview function page or site anymore!
Can anyone help with this?

Twitter recently broke their old embed code. You'll have to get new code from the twitter website.

Remove hyperlinks from links inside email

I was wondering if you could create an exchange transport rule that would check all incoming email for hyperlinks, if it seen one, it would remove the hyperlink and change it just into text.

Please try to build a transport agent to remove all HTML links from an incoming SMTP messages. And you need to use Visual Studio to realize it.

Removing hyperlinks from InDesign when exporting to PDF

I have an InDesign file with no hyperlinks set up that contains text which are URLs (for example, it includes the text www.google.com but NOT a hyperlink to that URL). I need the file to be set up that way because I am not allowed to publish PDFs that contain active links. Every time I export the InDesign file to a PDF the hyperlinks become active in the PDF. This happens whether or not the "Include... Hyperlinks" box is checked. The Hyperlinks window is empty. Any advice on how to keep this from happening or how to remove the links from the PDF?

Did you post this yesterday in another thread? The answer hasn't changed.
Reader and Acrobat, by default, in newer versions scan text for text strings look like URLs and automatically will set them to be links to the address that is found (valid or otherwise). This is not behavior that you can control in ID. It can be turned off in the Acrobat prefs by the user, but you can't force them to do it.

To Continue.... I removed "Smart View" using Control Panel/Programs & Features.
Did another search for Zynga on Boot drive - No results for Zynga. PC restart.
No Desktop Icons for Zynga . Another search on boot drive - no Zynga .
Hope it stays that way.
Not sure where I originally got stuck with Smartview or its purpose, but I'm happy without it , so far.
Hope that's some help to everyone with the annoying Zynga.

How to remove fonts from system: Adobe Devanagari, Adobe Gurmukhi, Adobe Fan Heiti Std, Myriad Arabic, Myriad Hebrew

It seems that you (Adobe) have added fonts (Adobe Devanagari, Adobe Gurmukhi, Adobe Fan Heiti Std, Myriad Arabic, Myriad Hebrew) to my system, that I can't easily remove and it is quite frustrating as they appear every time I am looking for fonts and yet I will never really need them. I have cleaned all my fonts on my system, keeping it ultra lean, and only activating the sets I need when I am working on projects and I would appreciate if you could tell me where they are and how I can remove them? Hey, I managed to remove them by deleting "typesupport" folder in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Required
I'm not sure if there will be unexprected problems, but you can move the folder somewhere else.

Desktop pages showing on Adobe Muse mobile site

Hi all,
I uploaded a desktop version of our company website last week and this morning have created a smartphone version.
When I uploaded it to our ftp host and looked at it on my iPhone the first two pages of the smartphone version were there but the other two were pages from the desktop site rather than the smartphone site.
Has anyone had this problem? What do I need to do to make sure that all the smartphone pages are showing up rather than some of the desktop pages?

If you have successfully uploaded all the pages to your server, then please try clearing your mobile browser's cache and cookies. That should fix the issue.

Adobe Muse Phone Site Problem

Hello Im making and phone site and i export it the size of the page is way off but the desktop site is perfectly as designed
I don't see any problems with the design anyone think they can help me out.

yep it looks like it because of items that are extending past the page. See screen shots. Note Image frame of logo- crop images so it fits on page, Also saw some areas of text boxes extending past the edges. Don't treat the grey area of Muse like a pasteboard as in Illustrator or Indesign, assume all content is live.
on Phone layout I'd recommend either utilizing the margins or zeroing them out (photo below brings page content within your margins - also had some text boxes extending past the page. You had scroll effect on phone as well - Personal choice but I prefer not to use at this time on phone layouts it can be a bit jumpy.
Oh one more thing check your header on you tablet page template you have your menu content floating between the header and body.
I'm out for the night, but hope that helps.

Is it possible to remove products from My Adobe account?

I have deactivated and uninstalled PSE 9 and have donated it to my cousin. He has installed the software but it is still in My Adobe > Products. I asume that he can't make a Adobeprofile of his own and register his "new" software because the serialnumber is active in my profile?

It is almost impossible. If my cousin should take over my PSE 9 he should send ligitimation with picture to Adobe. We have agreed that he has borrowed the software. Too bad that it should be so difficult.
