Removing Link in ModifiedBy property in KM

Does anyone know how to remove the link associated with the ModifiedBy property? I am hoping that I am just missing an easy configuration option. Any ideas?

Hi Craig,
the property "cm_modifiedby" (Property ID = "modifiedby") is of type "User". No special PropertyRenderer is given. In this combination, the PeoplePropertyRenderer is used.
In this class, the method renderPeopleInDisplayMode is used; within this, a PeopleRenderer is created. Dependent on different settings, different flags are set - but: the possible method setPeopleDetailsLinkVisible(boolean visible) isn't!
So it's not possible by configuration (the code checked is from EP6 SP2 P34; unprobable that it is different on NW04).
Workaround: You could create (modify) a (the) PeoplePropertyRenderer which calls this method (maybe depending on some Additional Metadata).

How to remove links pointing to the same page?

I have PDF documents with Links which point to sections referenced (e.g. link of text "Section 2.2" points to the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), but as the links are created from cross-references during rendition from Word to PDF, there are cases that the destination page number and source page number of the links are the same (e.g. links of text "Section 2.2" on page 9 are created with the destination of page 9 which is the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), I want to remove all these links, but I don't know how to get the destination page, I check the API reference and find that "PDLinkAnnotGetAction" may work , but I don't know how to use it, could you check me codes below and advise ? Your help is really appreciated!

Start by reading the PDF standard (ISO 32000-1) to understand Actions vs. Destinations.
Then for each annot, you'll want to see which it has (and in the case of an Action, if it has more than one). Then you need to parse the action or dest to see what it is and where it goes. If you don't like it, then you'll delete it.

Pages: How to copy & paste formats & remove links

I don't see a "paint brush" feature and can't see how to remove links from email addresses that are automatically being applied in my spreadsheet like Pages document. I'd like to remove all links without having to do each one separately. After I copy a format in one cell, I can't copy the format in another cell because "Paste format or style" is dimmed.

Suggestion: select a column by the header working label (A, B, C... for columns), then set the format of all the cells int he column at once. Or do the same for rows. And yes, the display of tables in Pages 5.2 when you are working on it looks for all the world like an Excel spread sheet, or Visi-Calc.

this question may look childish,
is it possible to remove links in the document and have all images that were placed in the document as static ones? (no problem if this increases my indd file size)
this problem happen for me because, i was using network resource for placing the images in the document, once there not exists a network connection / unable to acces the network resource, its unable to get the high resolution images from the link and it always shows low resolution image.
things i have tried,
i looked for any options while importing/placing the image, but no use.
tried to remove the link manually, not succeeded

In the links panel there is an option to in embed link.
Another option is to have the server connected and package your document up to a folder on your local machine thus keeping the links without blowing the file size outta all proportion.

Display Doc ID with Link to the Property page in SharePoint 2010

Good Morning.
I have been asked to add the DocID to the search results. Part two is to have that docID link to the property page for the item.
I have added DocID to fetched property's and can display it fine on the page but I am having problems creating the link to the property pages.
can anyone help?
So far I am trying to do this in the searchcoreresults XSL.
I would like the format of the DOCID to appear like this.
[ DOCID ] with the Hyperlink to take you to the item property's page.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to display Doc ID with Link to the Property page in SharePoint 2010.
SharePoint indexes Document IDs as a managed property by default, which means that with a little magic, we can add the Document ID into the search results.
We need to modify the XSL so that we display the Document ID in the search results.

look inside of the strap and there are "buttons" on each link.

You have marked me as Helpful and OIMLearner as Correct. If something can be done with simple configuration then why will someone change the JSPX file.
It's not about points but it's about doing the things in a right way.
Even Oracle knows about such requirements that's why they have given this as Configurable as it was there in OIM 10g as well which will not impact after upgrade also.

Deleted user - Remove link to UserDisp or Person page

I'm trying to figure out what removes links from Created By/ Modified By fields for a deleted user?
To elaborate I have a user who no longer exists in LDAP source, so does not exist in UPA and in site collection UserInfo table (tp_Deleted) deleted. When viewing that users documents in SharePoint 2013 - "Modified By" field links to the /UserDisp.aspx
page. If clicked it throws an error message (/_layouts/15/userdisp.aspx?ID=1212). For some other deleted users I'm seeing Modified By field is not linked..which would be ideal. For active users of course it take to the mysite person page.
Is there any job which removes this link? I've waited long enough (weeks) but still running into this issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Users who are marked tp_deleted will always remain where referenced elsewhere (e.g. Created By fields). This is to preserve referential integrity. This is standard behavior.

If you are retrieving Report from the web link/web applet you can do following.
After Putting the Report URL link into the Web Link/applet. Put following options.
eg. https://secure-ausomxXXX.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/analytics/saw.dll?Go&Path=/shared/Company_AAPA-XXXXXX_Shared_Folder/Assign+Consultant&Options=r.
Thus adding (&Option=r) at the end. can solve the issue as.
Option=rfd. states r=refresh, f=printer friendly, d=downloadable.

Remove link for uploaded files in application

Hi all,
I've been following the tutorial on how to upload and download files in application at http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32472_01/doc/appdev.300/b32469/up_dn_files.htm. I have now created my own table which stores the uploaded files and can download them successfully. I would now like to add the ability to delete these files within the application and was wondering what the best way of doing this was?
I would like to add another column to the displayed report with a 'Remove file' link for each listed file, which when clicked would delete the file from the table. I've already tried using a similar method to the one used to upload the files (instead of uploading the file, the called procedure deletes it from the table using the specified ID), but this causes the application to display a blank page when the link is clicked, which I dont want (but does delete the file).
I would appreciate any suggestions.

link-to--- if u keep any label and textbox u have to give the textboxname to linkto property of label. This is used becoz for ex u place the label and textbox and maximize the form these two wont be in correct level
Unique id-- Using this property we can use the items its the name of item
Linkedobject-- in link button if u specify only the correct form will open
.ObjectType----in link button u have to specify the linkobject and object type.
