Removing linked thumbnails under slideshow in Muse?

Just wondering how I might remove the thumbnail images under the slideshow widget in Muse?
I have tried making them transperant but the link still shows. I would like the user to simply click on the arrows to go forward and backwards between projects.

Hi Peach,
If you do not want to use the thumbnails in slideshow widget, then you can use Basic or Blank slideshow widget in Muse.
Or you can use "Thumbnails" slideshow widget and to remove the thumbnails, click on blue play button and then untick thumbnails.

By creating a link, I believe you want to hyperlink image where users when click on the image should be directed to linked page ?
You can select the hero image in slideshow and then insert link via hyperlink.
If you are referring to a text showing link with image then you would need to use a composition and insert text in container along with image.

Is it possible to import a LR5 generated slideshow into muse cc and link to it to show inside muse cc?

What I want to do is import a number of slideshows that are currently in my DW generated site. They are all generated from the LR5 Web module with the associated files. Is there a way of importing those files into MUSE CC so they can be linked to and shown inside MUSE CC?

Is there a way to add a slideshow or thumbnails that will enlarge when you click on them to my "About Me" page?
I'm looking to insert about 6 photos on the "About Me" page, again that will either expand or if I have to, start a slide show.

Here's what you can do to make a quick slideshow launch from any page...
Make a new Photo page with the photos that you want in your slideshow. Open the Inspector and click over to the Page tab. Uncheck the box "include page in navigation menu" so that the page is "hidden" from your viewers.
The on your AboutMe page or any other page you'd like to link the slideshow from... select the object you would like to attach the slideshow hyperlink to. Then open up the Inspector Hyperlink tab. Click the box to "enable as hyperlink" And under link to: select "external URL". In the URL box you will have to enter the direct link for the slideshow which should be the following format...
http://web.mac.com/username/iWeb/sitename/photopage_files/slideshow.html
username = your .Mac account username
sitename = your site name
photopage = name of your hidden photo page
When clicked on a new window will open up with the slideshow and users will never see your photo page (unless you want them to).
Try this out. I think you will like the overall effect.
Let me know if you run into any roadblocks.

Link thumbnails in separate page to specific images in Easy Rotator?

I have a a web page with a grid of 16 thumbnail images.
I have a separate web page running an Easy Rotator Slideshow.
I want to be able to click on a thumbnail and have Easy Rotator start with it's corresponding image rather than from the start.

Then, to link to a specific photo in the rotator, link to that rotator's

If your rotator has multiple image categories, you can link to a specific

PSE5 organizer tracking deleted and renamed folders and removing orphan thumbnails

If files are deleted or renamed within a folder that's being watched by organizer, the changes made through explorer or any other program don't seem to ever get reflected in Organizer. For example, I deleted an entire folder of junk photos through Windows. They still show in Organizer. How do I tell Organizer to re-scan the folder and remove orphan thumbnails from the catalog? The only thing I've been able to do at this point is to highlight them all and delete them. That's not bad for a single folder, but is a pain when I've done a lot of renaming, reorganizing, and creation and deletion of folders and subfolders under the watched folder.
I've used a program called Thumbs Plus for years, and it has an option "remove orphans" that you can do globally, or on a folder and its subfolders. I'm wondering if there's something similar in PSE.

Yes, I realize that in an "ideal" world we could do absolutely all of our organizing in "organizer" but I just can't see that becoming a reality. We have different users on this computer and there are certainly going to be times when we're already working in another program, including Windows Explorer. One would think that if Organizer is monitoring a folder it would detect all changes, or at least have a manual "rescan folder" or "remove option of some sort to help get the real files back in sync with the catalog. Hmmm. I'm still using eval mode and not sure that I like this part! Perhaps the next version will do better in this regard.

Option to have bullets instead of thumbnails within slideshows

I think it would be great to have the possibility to insert bullets instead of thumbnails for slideshows. Like they have it here e.g.: http://projects.craftedpixelz.co.uk/craftyslide/
Of course I can make the thumbs extremely small and with rounded corners so that the impression of bullets occur, but this seems circuitous. Any other ideas?

How to remove links pointing to the same page?

I have PDF documents with Links which point to sections referenced (e.g. link of text "Section 2.2" points to the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), but as the links are created from cross-references during rendition from Word to PDF, there are cases that the destination page number and source page number of the links are the same (e.g. links of text "Section 2.2" on page 9 are created with the destination of page 9 which is the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), I want to remove all these links, but I don't know how to get the destination page, I check the API reference and find that "PDLinkAnnotGetAction" may work , but I don't know how to use it, could you check me codes below and advise ? Then for each annot, you'll want to see which it has (and in the case of an Action, if it has more than one). Then you need to parse the action or dest to see what it is and where it goes. If you don't like it, then you'll delete it.

Pages: How to copy & paste formats & remove links

I don't see a "paint brush" feature and can't see how to remove links from email addresses that are automatically being applied in my spreadsheet like Pages document. I'd like to remove all links without having to do each one separately. After I copy a format in one cell, I can't copy the format in another cell because "Paste format or style" is dimmed.

Suggestion: select a column by the header working label (A, B, C... for columns), then set the format of all the cells int he column at once. Or do the same for rows. And yes, the display of tables in Pages 5.2 when you are working on it looks for all the world like an Excel spread sheet, or Visi-Calc.
