Removing "Log Off" from top bar

I have been setting up some guest login pages for a test bed portal and have noticed that "Log Off" is no longer visible on the top bar next to my account.
Any suggestions?

This is pretty much what I would expect, wouldn't you?
If you're not logged in (in other words, logged in as guest), you can't log off, so there shouldn't be a logoff button.
Perhaps I don't understand you correctly . . . what would you expect the log off button to do if you're on the guest login page?

How do you Reset / Remove Old URLs From Address Bar When Manually Typing In URLs. You know, when you start to tpye in www. and about 2000 URLs visted in your life, and past life, appear in a list. The way to clear the address bar is to reset Safari, under Safari menu,
this will also clear,
"Resetting Safari clears the history, empties the cache, clears the Downloads window, and removes all cookies. It also removes any saved user names and passwords or other AutoFill data and clears Google search entries.
In addition, any open windows are closed and a new window opens. The new window has a new history for the Back and Forward buttons and the SnapBack buttons". From Safari Help
A reinstalled Safari will just come to be the same, after a while. Not worth it in my opinion. The address bar will not be completely empty.

How to log off from SNC portal

This is a very basic question. I did not find any button or menu option to log off. Sometimes I get the message that the transaction is still running in another session, and I find it very difficult to log off. I normally close the browser and then log off from the SCM system. But if I am not logged onto SAP and I open the portal directly, How do I log off?
Your help is appreciated.

There is no logoff button in SNC Web portal.
You can close the SNC web protal to logoff.
About your issue when you logoff it will locks your query as it is not logoff straight a way solution is create another query so that you can use another query or go to transaction SM04 and logoff your user-

OC4J shuts down after I log off from the server !!!?

I have a startup batch file to start OC4J on my customer server. Usually I connect to their server from my office via terminal server (and VPN) and run this batch file as a job via scheduled jobs in WINDOWS to start OC4J. My problem is that the OC4J shuts down as soon as I log off from their server. But it stays running if I disconnect from their server.
This problem happing on a new installed server but on the old one I have not this problem. Probably it should be some parameter setting that I missed.
Would appreciate any help on this.

Firefox will not start unless reboot has been done. If start is attempted, Firefox gets hung up, cannot close or log off from Windows.

Is there a script or a secure program that I could use to remove profiles after a given user logs off from the system?

I am trying to do this on a network for a specific lab that uses Active Directory. I would like to accomplish this on each individual iMac. The only account that would not be removed after logging off would be the Administrators.

Also, If I created a default profile on each system, could each user log in and be redirected to that profile and all of their network resources be readily available, and once they log out of the system, they are disconnected and all of their information is removed? (Hope this makes sense.)

Speed opening Script menu from top bar

Hello,
Just recently I noticed that opening the scripts menu from the universal menu across the top of the screen seems to take longer and longer to open as a work day passes.
There are about 10 files in there with more contained in 6 more folders; so not what I consider to be a huge amount to cause such a stall.
It takes about 20 seconds for the Waiting Pointer to stop and the menu to show.
Has anybody else observed this behaviour?
On my previous main computer an iBook G4 I never experienced this behaviour.

I think the number on the bar is not the culprit, I also have almost 50 favorite items, but IE works fine with these items. Anyway, you can reduce the number as a test, check if the issue is related with the storage.
Remove the item from the Favorites Bar, then re-add, check the result.
Click Tools\Internet Options\General\Delete... delete the browser histry, cookies, temporary internet files, and so on.
Click Tools\Manage add-ons, disable all add-ons, check if issue persists, if issue disappers, then one or more add-ons might be the culprit, we can try the add-on one-by-one to find the cause.

Remving icon from top bar

there is this ink pen in the top bar. It is near the time and the bluetooth and battery power icons. I dont know how i can remove it from up there. And I dont want to remove the whole application. Just the icon at the top.

Cannot remove autocomplete entry from address bar; have already cleared history, and entry is not in the drop-down menu of the address bar either.

I am having problems removing an autocomplete entry from my address bar; I have tried clearing my history, so it's no longer in that, and I do not have it bookmarked either, so it's not getting the URL from that location either. The autocomplete entry isn't even showing up in the drop down menu, so I can't even scroll through that to delete it.
Basically, I want to be able to type "st" and go to "store.steampowered.com"; however, despite numerous times of typing in "st" and then going down into the drop-down menu to choose "store.steampowered.com", the bar continues to autocomplete "steamtrades.com", which is exceptionally annoying because I do not have that website bookmarked, or in my history, yet it continues to autocomplete to that address, which I do not want it to autocomplete to, and cannot figure out how to remove because I've already cleared my history multiple times, do not have it bookmarked, and it is not showing up in the drop down of the address bar for me to go down and force delete it.

Did you try to remove some letters from steamtrades.com to see if that bring this entry up in the drop-down list?
If it is not in the history then it might be present with a typed=1 flag indicating that you have typed or pasted it in the location bar.
You can use the SQLite Manager extension in Firefox to inspect the places.sqlite file to see if this entry comes up in the moz_places table.
