Removing Old software plugin need help

I have been struggling with this for awhile. I need to uninstall old citrix receiver plugin from users win7. I am unable to push Receiver Clean-Up Utility from this site (http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX137494). As I am not getting any helpful assistance
from citrix support so far, I am here to get some suggestions here hopefully. How do I use sccm 2012 to push it to remove the old citrix receiver from the end users computers? I tried with install for system/user but not working. It shows installed in the
software center but it did not remove the old software. If I run it locally with run as admin, it does the job. Please help. Thanks!

I tried your suggestion. Again, the application discovery was fine but it did not remove anything though status in software center said installed. I tried with both install for system and also for user. Still no go for the uninstaller exe file.
Though I noticed the citrix reg key you have in yours, was found in wow6432node on windows 7x64 instead, I don't know removing of the key will clean the receiver. I really want that utility to be executed. If I run it manually, it works. Does yours worked well
when push from sccm? I wish there is a real good uninstaller or simple script to remove all instances (files, folders, reg). Thanks

Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.

New MAC user, old Picasa user - need help!

recently purchased my IMAC - and while I have loved it - I haven't loved used iphoto. I'm an old picasa user and when I copied all of my picasa fotos in iphoto - while the pictures transfers all the names and dates of the folders that the pictures were in did not - so they are all randomly scattered through out.
What I would really like to do is use Picasa for Mac and have it recognize my external drive, storing and altering all of the pictures there. Is this possible? I need help!

Sure - you can use any software you choose - you can not use both iPhoto and Picasa - they do not work together

For Picasa support yu need to go to the Picasa forums
And note that while Picasa is a very good package iPhoto is a dabase program and is much more powerful - but it does have a learning curve

Can't update new software update need HELP

Ok I got the Jan software update and well I just know really how to just install it. I red someone's post here but it's just not clear on how to do it. Is there someone that can tell me in a clear way the steps to do it please. I know he said to do a folder called "Mobile Applications" and to put the downloaded file (iPod touch App Pack 4A93.ipa) in it, so I did it and I put it in the iTunes folder in my "Music" folder, I pressed Sync and no software appear. So I just need help with this please!!!!!!

Unable to open a CS5 file in CC - does not recognize plugin - please help. Just removed old software and replaced with CC yesterday.

I was having issues with illustrator and it was time to upgrade anyway, so I uninstalled all previous versions of Adobe and upgraded to CC. Now I'm trying to open my old files and the exact error reads, "Could not read the fiel because the plug-in could not understand this file." What plug-in do I need to download? And why wasn't this part of the package in the first place?

The three step reinstallation may be relevant.
But you could try to create a new document and File>Place the troublesome one to see how much may be rescued that way (remember to tick Paste remembers Layers in the Layer palette flyout/dropdown first, and to untick it afterwards).
If it is a corrupt file, there are some more things to try, but in this case it might take too much of the little time before your deadline.

Trying to update an old 2002 iMac - need help!

I'm trying to update my ancient iMac to a newer operating system. I was hoping I could simply download my purchased copy of Mountain Lion onto this machine, but to my knowledge I cannot access the Mac App Store on this machine. Can someone give me a nudge in the right direction of how I should go about this? Thanks!

Mavericks was released yesterday and Mountain Lion is no longer available in the MAS. You need to be running OSX 10.6.8 in order to have the MAS on your Mac in the first place.
Maybe you should think about investing in a new Mac - or maybe a refurb, if you can't afford a new one, or settle for the OS that you are running now. As far as I know, you cannot buy Tiger which might be the next step up for your machine.

"Bluetooth: Not Available" problem created by software update; need help please?

I ran a regular software update as prompted by my iMac to get to 10.6.8, and now have "Bluetooth: Not Available" with squiggly line thru it. I've tried an SMC, updated software to 10.8.4...no availability of my Bluetooth to work the magic mouse, or any ability to access Bluetooth in System Preferences...help please?

You say you have "tried an SMC." Reset the SMC nd PRAM again.

DB to use stand alone Softwares ? Need Help

Hi friends,
My Housing Society has asked me to develop a software for their accounting purpose. As I am well versed with JAVA I would using it for GUI thing.
But I could not decide on DB software.
I would like to open source softwares and it should be easy to install as the managing committee get changed year after year.
Currently I know MySql and Ms-Access and no problem in learning new DB.
As per my experience pros and cons of these above DBS

1) Nightmare to get it Installed first. Dont know which antivirus or firewall is used by committee members
2) Back ups. If System crashes, DB would be lost

1) Not a free Software
2) Not reliable
Please discuss
Please also tell me if there are any other alternative to above Database Softwares

That said, have you thought about DB2? It's been around for a very long time, and I believe there are free versions available; however they may not include everything you want in terms of backup. Other than that, there are also fully Java-based DBs like JavaDB and Derby, but what amenities they have, I don't know. *They may also not scale well.

MacBook Pro running SLOW!!! Choking on my recording software. Need help.

I use 10.4.6 Tiger on my 2.16 MacBook Pro. I'm running Pro Tools 7.1.1 and Reason 3.5. The MacBook Pro can't even make it through a song with out asking me to increase the buffer size in Pro Tools. I've lowered the sampling rate, taken off all effects and it still can't make it through a song.
I work in a few studios and my computer is under performing in every way compared to my peers.
This is my first mac. Should I defrag and how?
Do I need to reinstall everything?

Corsair Hydro coolers do not give better cooling performance than air coolers from Cooler Master or Noctua, nor do they run quieter. They are only more expensive. Don't forget that air coolers in push-pull configuration have two fans, that are replaced by two fans on the radiator when using a Corsair Hydro. Unfortunately, the Corsair fans are pretty noisy, thereby defeating the intention of water cooling to make things more silent. Effectively, one replaces two fans with an average noise level of 25 dB with two radiator fans with 35 dB. If the cooling performance was better, that extra noise might be overlooked, but that is not the case. Up to around 4.8 GHz overclock, the performance difference between air coolers and Corsair Hydro is negligent. So, if you opt for Corsair Hydro coolers, you don't get better cooling, you do get more noise, more power consumption (because of the waterpump) and you spend a lot more.
