Are you syncing it to the iPod?
Do you have Restrictions set that would prevent installing the apps? Settings>General>Restrictions

I was wondering why did apple support disc installed games like spore on older macs but they wont install on the newer macs. This is really bothering me because i like disc installed videos games they are safer and you have to purchase them in order to play them unless you have a crack. Now apple is saying that discs are obsolete when really they aren't.

Hi, how did you try to remove it, and where is it stored ? You can normally delete by hi-lighting the track and using options - delete, or going into fole manager in office find the track and delete from the phone. Using your computer(attached in 'mass memory' mode) you can open phone as an external device and delete track from C,E, or F. And if the tracks are on a memory card or internal E you can format it, but this would remove all data.

I have an iPod Touch that is a few years old but running the latest software update. I want to loop a video to then play through Apple TV onto 2 panels at the front of our shop. I have saved the file as a video and Music Video (using Get Info etc) but neither version in the iPod touch will supply the repeat function - it works fine from my MacBook Pro but I cannot leave this in the shop overnight. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated - evern if a third party app that actually works. Thanks in advance, Shaun.

Video output from iPod Touch (2nd gen) via AV Component Cable (no audio)

Hi, I'm trying to output a video from my iPod Touch (2nd gen) to my TV via a AV Component Cable.
Unfortunately the audio doesn't work, I'm sure they are all connected into the right places.
The video works, but I get no audio. (And no subtitles when closed caption is on)

At the top left of the image, are what I assume to be the red and white audio ports, highlighted in red.
I plugged in the red and white audio connectors into those ports.
And towards the bottom are three ports, green, blue and red, also highlighted in red.
I plugged in the green, blue and red connectors into those ports.
I changed the input of the TV to Input 2, I see the video for the movie I'm watching on the TV but no audio. I tried multiple movies.
I've also tried changing the video output from PAL to NTSC and back again, turning Widescreen on and off and turning Closed Captions on and off. I also tried plugging in the red and white audio connectors into the row of ports just below the green/blue/red row, to see if that made any difference, and it didn't.
I tapped the bottom left button of the iPod Touch when plugged in to the TV and playing video and it came up with an option that was selected called ~"Audio Source: English (Stereo)"

It is to my understanding that you can watch video (downloaded from itunes and home video made with ipod touch) through apple tv 2. How is the quality of it, 720p HD or does it get distorted going from little to big screen? Does that include music videos downloaded from itunes?

Providing the content on the iPod is 720p then it will be 720p when streamed via airplay to the Apple TV.
Yes Music videos in iTunes will stream to the Apple TV.

Video disappears from iPod

There are videos in my library, but they will not load into my iPod even though they are checked off in the library. Last time I sync'd, some South Park videos were removed that had been on the iPod before the sync. Still, the library shows they are there presnt and should be loaded on the iPod.
How can I load these files and make them stay on the iPod?

Did you check to see what movies you have selected to have Sync Movies ;All Unwatched Movies or All Unwatched ; or Seleted Movies???

Nokia Suite 3.6 clears pre installed map data from...

I had a problem with Nokia Suite clearing pre-installed maps from my new Pureview 808 and E5-00. The first time I let Nokia Suite 3.6 check for outdated maps, it reported that over 700MB worth of maps needed updating.
I didn't think much of the time taken but after maybe 5 minutes connection was lost and so were the preinstalled maps. Nokia Care didn't help as they said it was a PC or internet problem.
I also noticed in Nokia Suite 3.6 that the country Thaliand is missing from my installation of the suite for Pureview 808. However the country is there inside my phone's map loader. Thailand is present inside Nokia Suite when I connect my E5 to Nokia Suite 3.6.
Can anyone tell me what the pre installed maps in the phones are?

It depends upon the product code of the device as to which maps are pre-installed upon Mass memory of 808 as this determines localisation.
Presumably your 808 is running Nokia Maps v3.09_12wk09_b05 and if you use "Maploader" from within Nokia Maps application is not Thailand listed as per screenshot?
