Removing residual data from texts

In Settings, general, usage ....next to messages it shows 610 MB. I have deleted all text messages. I have updated to the latest software. I was unable to update to ios 7.0 because of the 2 MB required. I deleted pictures apps and music in order to have the 2 MB required for update. I reinstalled everything, only for Apple to come out with two more updates. I now have the latest software version.
I reset the phone and have updated to the latest ios version
I have restarted the phone several times
Yet still next to messages it shows 610 MB. !
That's more then half gig of memory. How do I recover this memory I would like to use it for apps and more pictures.

Follow the steps listed in the iPhoto Help menu under: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iPhoto/8.0/en/26672.html.
If everything else in the Library and iPhoto are working correctly this should remove the place entry for an individual photo or a range of photos.

i tried going into things like the photos or video and internet and apps pages to view them but it would just freeze and not do anything...
i recieved some text that were sent like 3 hours before when i thought it was working and i could text back as when you go to reply you can't go into the screen to start touch screen typing....
i finally got into the C: drive by connecting to my comp and deleting stuff even though the C: is not full it keeps coming up with this...
i can't connect to comp and PC suite has never worked to try and update software or something and it now doesn't have the settings to go on internet itself to get updates. i have got vodafone to text me configs for internet but it says its already saved and it still doesn't work...
any ideas peeps???

Cant get data from text file to print into Jtable

Instead of doing JDBC i am using text file as database. I cant get data from text file to print into JTable when i click find button. Goal is to find a record and print that record only, but for now i am trying to print all the records. Once i get that i will change my code to search desired record and print it. when i click the find button nothing happens. Can you please take a look at my code, dbTest() method. thanks.

Best way to remove old data from db?

I am looking some ways to keep my database small and remove old data from database and archive it somewhere else. the data may need to be put back to the database in the future. One of the things I am conserned is how to enforce constraints? In other words, when I remove data, all the related pk/fk data should be removed together. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

now again export the tables ( say dump2).

What is the best way to remove personal data from the hard drive in preparation for selling my old Mac?

I am going to sell or perhaps donate my old Power Mac G5. Is there an easier, yet comprehensive way to remove my data from the hard-drive? My best approach is dumping anything I do not want found into the trash.
I am running Mac OS 10.5.8 on the powermac G5

For better security than the simple Erase (which does not actually over-write the data blocks, only clears the directory), choose Security Options, and Zero all data, one pass.
After a Zero all data, the only way to recover the data is to dis-assemble the drive in a clean room and use expensive test gear to recover a little of the data. That is good for all but Military Secrets.
If you really trust no one under any circumstances, remove the drive and beat it to death with a hammer.

You had to reinstall CS6 after cancelling the CC as both were from the same Adobe ID. You can always use & keep both CC & CS6 together.

Use setup assistant which is offered when you setup your new Mac. It will transfer information from a Time Machine backup, Clone or another Mac.
It's best to do this during setup to avoid issues with duplicate IDs.

How to remove blank data from a byte array. Suppose I created a byte array as byte[] b = new byte[8192] and i read the data as inputstream.read(b). If the data that has been received is only 1000 bytes length, how to find out how much data has been read or how to delete that blank 7192 bytes of data?

1) Always try to sidestep this by allocating only the necessary amount of space required...
2) If 1 is not possible, you will have to index byte for byte how much data was read into the array which
denotes reading byte for byte... not ideal as this is relatively slow...

Go to icloud.com. Log in with your Apple ID & Password. Go to the Find My iPhone section. Perform a remote wipe of the device.
You don't have to have downloaded any app. You only have to have enabled the Find My iPhone option under Settings > iCloud. If you did not do that, then you cannot remotely access the device.
If that's the case, then change ALL of your account passwords; email, banking, etc. All of them. And then monitor those accounts very closely!

Deleting data from text files

I am having a real battle trying to delete data from a text file I am using. There seems to be this giant cloud with Java, where there is no real easy way to delete text from a file??
I have a JFrame with two textfields on it where you enter the username and pcname. There is a OK button once you have entered those details.
On action event I would like those two details, to be removed from the text file that has been read in.
I have a text file like this:

I have two queries and since i am new,please if possible explain step by step
1.) How can I load the contents of data stored in sometext.txt file when i click the JCombo box]?? Also, if i enter a new string not existing in text, it should display a message and add the new entered data into the sometext.txt file.
2.) How can i input the contents of table.txt file (which has characters seperated by Tab) into a JTable into specific rows and columns??. Again, the txt should add and update the new entered data.
I dont want to use any databse connection!!
Explainations with Examples/Attachments will be greatly and truly appreciated

Removing submit requirement from text validation field

I am creating a form and I am using a validate text field. If
a customer wants to participate in future surveys, they will enter
their email address in the validate text field, but if they choose
not too, they can leave the field blank. What I want is to make
sure that the email is validated, so I checked the onblur option so
it checks it when I leave the field. The problem is when I click
the submit button, it still checks the field and requires me to
enter an email address still.
Is there a way to alter the SpryValidationTextField.js file
so that it will check the email address on onBlur or onChange and
not when I click the submit button??

This reply would not be a perfect answer but might explain the logic behind it.
Here it is:
If you are retrieving HTML text from database you can create a function to remove html code from the text matter.
You simply need to look for the start <HTML> tag as a word and then for the end </HTML> tag as a word. Note down the start charater position for <html> and end character position for </HTML> and then simplye remove the content from the text by concatinating the data before the <html> tag and after the </html> tag.
or if you want to remove only the tag part as <html> and </html> from text and save the contents inside these tags, that would also be possible with the logic stated earlier in this post.
I would try to create such function and will post it here if succeeded.

I have data in a text file that I want to load into a
listbox... I have fully mastered handling strings and arrays so I'm
going to need some help...
I was wondering how do I get flash to load a text file that
contains the data below.. and display it line for line like I want
it to list down the component

"OSX;7.0.0.2" (or something close to that)
and I was wondering how do i just get it to take it fromt he
file.. line for line from where it says exeversion in the file and
list it in the listbox...
