Removing some songs at the same time

Hi, i've got a problem with my itunes, i've got my music all mixed up and moved atleast 8 times all around the computer, but now the itunes has got about 7-8 copies of every song, and to remove these you have to select one by one to get them removed. I need something just to remove the ones that don't have a location or not working. I also tryed removing them all but then i'll loose my top rated list and this is about 95 songs and to put these back, it will take hours. So please if there is an option which i don't now about or another program that could sort that out, that would be great, please tell me as soon as possible. Thanks, Besho2005

Updating info for multiple songs at the same time?

Is there a way to highlight multiple songs and change info for the songs at the same time without having to do it for each individual song? Example: changing the album or the genre for a batch of songs?

You can shift-click to make a continuous selection or command-shift to make a discontinuous selection.
Then choose Get Info from the file menu.

I am not aware of a way to play two songs at once in iTunes. However, at least on a Mac, you can definitely open and play multiple things in QuickTime player. Sooo, you could open a music file in QT Player then start it and start the audio book in iTunes. Or open the audio book in QT player and listen to that there while iTunes plays music.

Yes. It plays 2 songs at the same time, so I reinstalled iTunes. It will plays 2 songs at the same time again after 10 songs. What's the problem?

Bought 2 songs at the same time from iTunes store - only one plays. I emailed support who then said they didn't do support and sent me to an article that didn't help.I tried deautherizing my computer then reautherizing it. Who do I contact and what happens if you get a song that doesn't play ?

If they are in photos view then they are in an event unless you have a corrupted library
How are you"merging" the photos?
most common issue is either bad sort (view menu ==> sort events) or bad camera dates
select one and show event to see the event

If you're asking whether more than one user can use the computer at the same time with multiple displays, the answer is no. Other users can log in over a network with Screen Sharing, but each one will need his own computer (not necessarily a Mac.)

You can click on multiple songs, and change info in the Get Info > Info screen. This applies to most fields EXCEPT Name. iTunes has never allowed the simultaneous change of Name of multiple songs, presumably on the grounds that it is usually an error to do so.
Regarding Genre, yes, this can be changed for multiple songs at once, using the Info tab of Get Info.

How to delete the duplicated songs at the same time also from the source , hd

i have lots of song twice or tripple in the song list. the main reason is i have them also in the source hd dupplicated. It is not easy to find the dupplicated songs in the hard disc, they are in different files with different names but same songs . ı have to delete them by checkin the files each for every duppliceted song it is not possible practically.
but in i tunes i see them all in a list and can delete. but they will still be in hard disc. If for any reason i have to reload the files to itunes, they come again and i have to start form the zero point.
i want to delete them at the same time when i am deleting them on i tunes library.
this options is available on windows media player. there is always an option when i delete a song the software asks '' delete only from the list or also from the source? ''

Try this:
Insert a group on body_code. Then create a running total called Distinct Count. Field to summarize -> ID, Evaluate on change of group Group # 1 Body Code, and Never Reset.
Then insert a chart in the report header:
In the advanced layout, select body_code on change of and select Distinct Count running total in the Show values.

Hello, why is it so slow to switch from one song to one another in Logic (use it to copy and paste) ?? I have 16Go of RAM, and despite it seems that it does a lot of HD request when switching from one to the other...By the way, openning 2 songs at the same makes Logic crash regularly, is it considered as a risky practice ??

As a first method, you should use Selective Track Import, from the Browser. Avoids the entire issue altogether.
If you really need to go back and forth between two Projects, temporarily disable the audio driver. If you don't, all instruments and samples will be reloaded each time, your plugin settings will be screwed up seriously, and you even might experience crashes.

Album artwork not showing for some songs of the same album, but the artwork is there?

On my iphone, some songs aren't showing the album artwork.. But other songs from the same exact album have the artwork.
When i click get info, the artwork is there on itunes, and when i click the 'my music' tab when my phone is connected, but it doesn't show the artwork on my phone when the song is playing.. help?

I haven't updated this for iTunes 7, so if you are using iTunes 7, the iPod preferences show up when you connect your iPod (there is no need to go to edit-->preferences and click the iPod tab as it says in the tip).

Pavilion dv6 with Windows 7 - some softs use laptop speakers some headphones (at the same time)

To be more specific, I usually use my headphones with my laptop. The main problem is that when I use winamp and skype at the same time there's a weird thing happening:
If I get a skype sound, the sound switches from the headphones to the laptop speakers. After the skype sound is over it automatically returns tot the headphones. I'm using Windows 7, and I looked at Volume Control Options and i have 3 devices: SPDIF, Independent Dual Headphones and Speakers and Dual Headphones and I can not choose which one to use (for all softwares).
This is annoying (specially at night when I don't want to make any noise), if I get a skype call my speakers go wild and after the bip-sound from the call it all switches back to the headphones.
Can you help me set up this sound issue ?

Solution has been found. Disable "Communications Heaphones" from Sound in the Control Panel.
