Removing space before song starts

Hey everybody!
So, here is my question, whenever I record I always use a metronome to count me in. What I find is that afterwards (after I remove the metronome) I am left with two seconds of silence before the track starts playing. Is there a way to move every single track to the left at the same time (preserving all of the spacing)?

The problem with that is, if you have any panning or volume adjustments, those will not move forward with you, so you will have to manually adjust all of that data....

You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.

ITunes 11 pause before song starts

iTunes 11 pauses 4-5 seconds before song starts, version 10 had instant start of music when I clicked on play.

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. I found an article with steps to edit the song information in iTunes:
To change the name of the song, artist, or album:
Select the item you want to edit.
Press Enter.
Type the new information.
To edit song or CD information:
Select the song or CD you want to edit, and choose File > Get Info (or press Control-I).
Click Info and make your changes.
Tip: If you’re changing the same information for multiple items (genre, for example), you can select all the items and change the information for all of them at the same time.
To change information without changing the files on your hard disk:
By default, changing information in iTunes also changes the file’s name on your hard disk. You might not want the filenames to change if, for example, the files are used by other apps on your computer.

I also found an article that has steps for identifying duplicates in iTunes. This has steps for iTunes 10 and earlier. In iTunes 11, instead of going to File>Display Duplicates, you can go to View>Show Duplicate Items:

Noise before song starts

Is it my imagination or should there not be like a clicking noise before a song starts with the ipod. ive only had it a week or does this happenn aon all of them

Your iPod will emit a clicking noise when you are using the wheel to navigate or adjust your volume. Your iPod also has a hard drive inside it, so the noise you are hearing could be the head of the hard drive engaging. If the noise is louder then reasonable visit an Apple store or Apple service provider so that a tech can have a listen. Is the value right aligned? If you pass any whole number or decimal number values to the excel sheet, it will be displayed in right aligned format in excel sheet. What is the type of the value that you are passing to the excel sheet.

I have a problem in displaying a variable in a smartform..The variable shows some blank space that preceeds the data.
for eg:,
variable = 18.000.
How to remove space before 18.000?

To remove the decimal places for quantity and rate/quantity , use the syntax to restrict the number of digits after decimal places. The syntax is
&symbol(.N)&
where N is number of decimal places.
Since you dont want decimals use &symbol(.0)&
For the other case it depends on how the currency is represented , any way try using the syntex &symbol(T)&

How do I remove a space before the first word in a sentence using find and replace or GREP?

Right, so I am laying out a document in inDesign from a word document and it has a space before every first word in a sentence. It is really annoying and I need a quick way to get rid of them. I wasn't too sure how to do it with find/change but I am sure there is a way in GREP if someone can help me. I have included an image so that people can see exactly what I mean.

The ^ location works for all paragraphs.
But a note to the OP, there is a sample script called FindChangeByList that removes leading and trailing spaces as well as extra spaces after punctuation, all in one go. But if you want to continue to use a GREP find/change to remove leading space, I'd modify Joel's suggestion to ^\s+ to get those cases where the user typed multiple spaces as well.
And don't forget there are actually legitimate places for leading tabs, which both the script and this GREP will find and remove, so be careful.

- Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck

I want to leave one line space before starting a text.
i LEFT one line space on the text node but it's not working.
eg: i need to print "Header text". Before printing this i need one line space. Created a blank node for space still not working. Can anyone help me on this.

Enter a Line Feed in the Smartform Editor.
in the editor type as ,
"Header text"
where / is Line feed and * is a Default Paragraph Format.

Easiest way is to have an external drive to which you copy the things you store like pictures, movies, and music
which take up a lot of space. Then delete them fron the main drive and clean it up with one of the maintenance utilities. You can readily access the external drive's contents whenever you wish.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.

make sure you have a backup first. LIke with Time Machine.
drag stuff to the trash you don't want to save
like music, videos, photos, documents, apps you don't use anymore. Video, in particular, tends to take up a lot of room.
don't drag system files to the trash.
get an external hard drive. Don't buy a WD. reformat the drive with Disk Utility. Don't use any of the software that comes with the drive.
copy stuff you want to save to the external hard drive.
Once you've copied those items to the external hard drive, you can drag the originals to the trash.
empty the trash.
enjoy all your new space.
