Removing tab from VA01

HI EXPERTS
I searched on sdn on how to remove tab from va01 and created a transaction variant through shd0
i made the tab appearing at item level data invisible but when i test it it still shows that tab please help.
being specific i need to remove the tab " Request for Quote Addln Data" at item level detail , this is the last tab .

If you want to put the tabs in invisible mode then you have to use SHD0 only. Even 'Request for Quote Addnl Data' can be done using SHD0 . But also make sure that you are putting in invisible mode . So once again you run SHD0 then check wheather you are able to see that tab or not

AC 10.1 remove tabs from Access Request

Hello,
I checked the forum for my specific issue but didn't find what I was looking for.
We're on GRC 10.1 V1100 SP04
Here's the scenario...
- We're requesting a new role to be assigned to an existing user in ECC using the Access Request form from GRC AC 10.1 system.
- I've created a new Request Type "Change Account" with actions Retain/Remove/Assign under process id SAP_GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST
- We cannot modify the default EUP ID 999 Maintain EUP as they are SAP values & hard coded
- We even copied the 999 and made a custom EUP and made these fields non-mandatory but we want to remove these unnecessary tabs
So what's happening is when we put in a request for assignment of a new role to a user...and hit submit after selecting the role it is asking for "Enter the value for Email" & "Enter the value for Last Name"...which are mandatory fields.
Does anyone know how I can remove/hide the Risk Violations, User Details, Parameters, User Groups etc tabs which are NOT required in this request...we only need the User Access & Attachments tab.
I know in SE80\Access Request package there is a way to hide these BUT I do not see this form under the packages.
Is there any other way?

Please check the below path
Go to SE80 T-code and select package from the drop down and enter GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST.
Then in the Web Dynpro tab go to FPM Applications and there you can find the aplication GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_SUBMISSION where you can make your changes.

Remove tab from settings

Hi,
I am using a layout set to modify certain settings of a file in a km folder.
I am changing the layout set->resource render ->Resource Command Group.
Then i go to the ''single details group''.
Here for a resource i only get ''details'' command not a group,so i can not modify it.
I am unable to remove the option "CLASSIFICATION" from the files context menu details->settings.I need to remove this callsification tab how can i do this?

Hi,
the menu items appearing in the details screen are assigned directly at the layout set whith parameter Commands for the details menu.
Normally this should be the DetailsGroup in this group you find the DetailsSettingsGroup and in this one the DetailsSettingsSecondGroup in which you find the command classification which you can remove.
Alternatively you could build your own groups and assign it to the layout set you use. That is more safe when thinking of upgrade or support packages.

How to remove Competetors TAB from PCUI Opportunity create trx

Hi Group,
we are using CRM 5.0, i want to remove Competitor's TAB from PCUI Opportunity Transaction. i see a option in CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C transaction-> Application/Layout->Define layout of the people-centric UI(Customizing tool). here i went to CRMD_BUS2000111-> Version 1-> Static model-> Tabpage groups-> OPP_1: when i clicked on this i got all Tab's details. but when i tried making OPP_HD_COMP "Inactive" and hit Save that Check mark goes away. tried many times but did not help.
then i tried going to CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C transaction->Application element-> tab page group structure->OPP_1: here i dont see any entries. do i have to add all Opportunity Tab's details here or only the Competetor tab details?
Please let me know does anybody see all Tab's data here or you just enter all Tabs data manually in CRM 5.0? also how can i remove Competetors Tab? your help is appreciated and awarded.

Hello Anu,
WHen you are in CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C transaction->Application element-> tab page group structure->OPP_1, go to edit mode and import the standard entries from CRMC_BLUEPRINT (on of the buttons on the screen).
Then, for the tab you don't want to see, just put it as inactive (if not possible, just delete the line, you can always come back to the standard by importing the S tables again).

How can I remove 'Open all in tabs' from my bookmarks? It's very annoying when you click on it by error. I downgraded from 29 to 28 because of the various bookmark issues I was having. I never had this issue with previous version of FF, why did they have to mess with stuff that was working.

In advanced options for the tab, 'Inherit Access Settings From The Page' is selected.

Reformatted a hard drive, but it still shows up in "Tabs From Other Computers." How do I remove it?

Unfortunately this is not possible at this stage. If this is something that bothers you, the next time you format a hard drive or, in general, want to remove a device from that view you should "Unlink this device" from the Sync Tab in the Preferences window.
Because you can't go back to that specific profile of Firefox you can't do it, but don't worry, eventually it will disappear (the servers don't store the information forever).
If you really want to remove it, you will need to reset the account and plug all your devices again. To do so, you will need to reset the Recovery key and set up the account in your computer again. This is the process that we recommend when a device is lost. I want to remove Technical data Tab from Work Center. I have Removed ''Technical data'' Tab from Plant Maintenance and Customer Service-->Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service -->Maintenance Plans, Work Centers, Task Lists and PRTs >Work Centers>Configure Screen Sequence for Work Center.
Still I am able to see Technical Data Tab in IR01, Work center.
Is there any other config to remove the same?

I have assigned Deliver block at Sales document level
but...... the requirement is that while processing sales order the creation person should not remove the same before processing delivery(it should be disable mode)
is there any soluation???

I real time... not all the users will be having the authorization to remove the block in sales order... as sap is having standard functionalities (Like User Exits) in place to restrict the user profiles and their authorizations..

Open Firefox -> Go to View -> Toolbars -> Chechmark on "Navigation Toolbar"
this will bring back your address bar (where you type links to go to websites :P )

Removal of TABS from File Upload

I made an upload of a local file with TAB spaces in an internal table .I am required to remove the TABs from the records.I tried to used command REPLACE '/h' by single space, where '/h' being the TAB , but it did not work.
How can I achieve the requirement?
