Removing the Buttons in Rfx

Hi Freinds,
I want to remove button CREATE MEMORY SNAP SHOT and i want to change the label of PERMISSIONS button in Rfx Screen.
we are using SAP SRM 7.0 ( PPS )
Component name : FPM_OIF_COMPONENT
Configuration Name : /SAPSRM/WDCC_FPM_OIF_RFQ_PR_PU.
when i try to do component configuration, i am not able to see the above buttons in component configuration , can any one have idea ?

Hi Sirni ,
To remove create memory snap shot button , no need to change in the wendynpro component or component configuration
just if you remove the SAP_ALL profile to the user the this button wont be visible to the user .
to rename the label goto config
Configuration Name : /SAPSRM/WDCC_FPM_OIF_RFQ_PR_PU.
create enhancement and change the label name

open Webgui application
in the GUI Config enter the following parameters.
~noHeaderOkCode = 1
~webTransactionType = EWT.
All buttons can also be removed by ~webgui_simple_toolbar =0 ..
Also now open the trancsaction of the program form SE93 for which you want to hide
the Menu bar, in its properties select the EASY WEB TRANSACTION radio button.

Hi,
I think u r mentioning about the addition buttons that appear in the selection screen when using a logical database. for removing these buttons u can use a function module RS_SET_SELSCREEN_STATUS for setting ur own pf-status
do this in "at selection screen output" of the program..
in the tables parameter, u have the option for giving the ok-codes that u want to remove. append all the ok-codes into this table.
for getting the ok-codes u can use "tab" and go the button.. press F1. it will give the ok-code.

Removing the button 'Order as Direct Material'

Hi,
I have to remove the button called 'Order as Direct Material' in shopping cart in item details of each material.
I used the BAdI BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI. But when I am creating the shopping cart, the browser is not calling the badi. Can anyone tell me how to hide the field in SC?

For 'Order as Direct Material' button to be disabled ,use the BADI "BBP_DP_PROD_CHK_BADI".
In method PRODUCT_CHECK, just clear EV_DP_FLAG.

you need to append the Fucntion codes to the it_exclude and then pass it to the parameter it_excluding.
append '&ABC' to it_excluding.
append '&BAC' to it_excluding.
call function 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
IT_EXCLUDING = it_exlcuding

You can actually remove the playbar from the entire presentation. Here's what I did.
I created a simple "shell" presentation of only a few slides with a standard look and feel that I would use on all the presentations requiring no playbar. In the theme editor, I set everything up as I wanted it (the playbar will show at first), I then did a save as with an appropriate name for the theme. Next, I published the presentation using the theme name. In the published data file, I opened the vconfig.xml file in notepad and altered the playbar line from
<uishow name="playbar" value="true"/> to <uishow name="playbar" value="false"/>
I then copied the entire published folder and placed it C:\Program Files\Adobe\Presenter 7\Themes
The next time I go to create a presentation, I go to the theme editor, choose the theme I created and you will notice that the playbar will not appear.

How to remove the 'New Entry' button in the warning message for a dialog bo

Hi Experts,
I am calling a Modal Dialog box screen having a pushbutton.
On the click of the pushbutton, I am performing some checks, and giving a warning message.
The warning message comes as a popup in this case and has three buttons on it.
One of these buttons is titled 'New entry'.
I dont want that button to come on the warning popup.
Please let me know if there is a way out for this.

But, in my dialog screen, on click of the button I am simply using the statement :
MESSAGE W000(0K) with 'text'.
The resulting warning message comes as a popup with the 'New Entry' button on it.
From the warning popup, how can I remove the button.
Please let me know.

I can't remove the no squint button from my browser even if it's disabled and removed

I recently installed no squint, and of course it placed a -/+ button up in my browser...well I did not like it after a while and went to my adons/extentions page and disabled it -- thinking it would remove the button too. It did not and the button is still there and it still works which bugs me, as I would rather have it gone.

What I am used to doing is Ctrl and using the mouse wheel. and I will continue to do that...The fact of the matter is my moniter sits about 3 and a half feet from my face so I have to really stare sometimes...and get tired of leaning forward. Skype makes you have to lean forward alot too

Remove the view detail button from the UWL

After migrating from Ep 6 to EP 7 and importing the same standard launchhandling config for ESS and MSS in the UWL, a "View detail" button appears in the EP7 UWL for each workitem.
Does anyone know how to remove or disable this "View detail" button?
(When an end users clicks this button he can click to go to the SAP gui and to other functionlaity we don't want to offer.)

The item type config and uwl standard views are allready both configured towards our needs. We have experience in changing this config and tried to change it in order to remove the button. But there is no option for removing the "view detail" button, in this config. At least we didn't find it. Also in the help documentation from SAP about UWL (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/39/a1bb5c4c0d4ab4a417e87ef35f1efa/frameset.htm) there is nothing to be found on the View Detail button.
We just don't want our users to see all the details from the workitem.
When this button is displayed users are also able to go to the SAP gui and this is highly undesired. Users should only approve / reject leave.
When the iview is displayed in the "normal mode" (not in the webdynpro mode) this button is no where to be found either. But in this mode the workitems cannot be started. It just opens a new portal page and not the ITS workitem.

Leave TO address field button, remove the CC & BCC buttons

A friend has somehow got 3 buttons and only needs the To Field, as the other fields are getting populated with whatever she types in the To Field and so she's inadvertently copying mail to herself. Thanks.

What version of Thunderbird are they using? My Thunderbird defaults to To for the initial and subsequent addressing. You have to click a down arrow and select something else from the list. rather difficult to do by accident.

How do I remove the "TOC" btn in the playbar WITHOUT removing the TOC "Expand/Collapse" icon?

I am working in CP7 on a project with a Table of Contents that is set to 'Overlay'. The client has requested that I remove the "TOC" button in the playbar, without removing the TOC "Expand/Collapse" icon, so that the user can still hide/reveal the TOC when necessary. The only control I can find is the "Show TOC" checkbox under Project > Table of Contents. However, un-checking this option removes both the "TOC" button AND the "Expand/Collapse" icons. Is it possible to remove just the "TOC" button in the playbar?

If you are using SWF output you can always edit the playbar in Flash and remove it.
If HTML5 you can edit the JavaScript out put to remove the button from the playbar.

Self Service - SIT approval. How to remove "Reject" Button

In some SIT, i have some employees where they have only to fill some information before continuing the flow cycle of the request without having the possibility to reject the request.
Can we remove the button "Reject" for one of the approvers in some cases?

You will have to customize the workflow item, and remove the reject option in the approval node.

If you're talking about disabling a button's ability to respond to mouse clicks:
The safest way to prevent a button from working would be to disable it like so:
    myButton.setEnabled(false);There are other ways to make a button not respond to the mouse but yet not change the appearance. One way (and I'm not sure how "safe" this is) would be to override the button's processMouseEvent method, for example:
        JButton myButton = new JButton("My Button")
            @Override
            protected void processMouseEvent(MouseEvent e)
                if (allowMouseClick) // a boolean variable in the program that turns button on and off
                    super.processMouseEvent(e);
        };Again, I'm not sure if the latter is kosher, but when I've tried it, it works. Also, this does not prevent the button from getting focus, nor does it disable the space bar from "pressing" the button.

Well, I'm guessing that you are using PO workflows, and using one of the standard lookups? Without having any details of what you are using, trying to second guess the answer is somewhat difficult.
If it's the case that you are talking about the PO workflows, then the buttons are standard functionality based on the lookup type that is used as the notification response. Trying to suppress this doesn't actually make much sense - you are sending someone a notification, asking them to take action, and then not giving them any ability to respond to the notification.
You would need to customize / personalize the notification page if you want to remove the buttons. The question then is - how will the process continue if you are removing the ability to respond to the notification?
