Removing the case

This may sound like a stupid question, but I just bought a memory card for the BlackBerry 8300. And I've been trying to get the case off of the phone the past 15-20 minutes with no sucess. Has anyone else had any trouble removing the case? Any tips?

The case, you mean the rear door or the battery door?
On the 83xx model, just press the small silver tab towards teh bottom of the door with your fingernail and move the door upwards to remove.

I have a couple of articles that can help you troubleshoot this issue. First, if you are downloading HD content, you will need to know the system requirements for HD playback, which can be found here:

The query screens are case sensitive I want to remove the case sensitivity

The current query screens are case sensitive ,I want to remove the case sensitivity is there a setting somewhere to remove this or how else can this be done.
Example:In the restrict value range of the query screen.If we give for a particular field anything in capital letters/small it should take.

generally case sensivity is related to InfoObject Master Data.
Take a look via Tcode RSD1 to the master data of your InfoObject and check in first screen if flag for capitol letters has been marked.
If this is the situation it is a problem, because MAster Data in cube have been saved as different if are written like "Letter" or "LETTER".

Help please - how to remove the case....

I am working with my son to remove the case on his powerbook g4 17 1.5 to replace the hard drive. there is apparently a screw somewhere in the middle of the keyboard.
Without having to remove too many keys, can someone please give me a clue? Thanks in advance.

Lenovo A540 Removing the Case

Hi there,
I have recently purchased the Lenovo Ideacentre a540. Now i want to swap the Hdd with an Ssd drive, but i have issues to remove the topcase of the base. I have downloaded the Hardware Maintenance Manual for the A740/A540 and followed the guide. Unfortunately, the Picture shows a different Model ( i think its the a530 or a520). My computer is missing the 4 screws on the edges, i tried to remove the 4 screws in the center, but that didnt helped. Any advises?

It depends on how much heat is generated. Removing the case will help dissipate the heat.

My G60 has a loose screw. How do I open the case?

My wife's G60 has a screw rattling around inside. We can't use the laptop (which she relies on for college courses) until I can get the screw, put it where it belongs and be sure we don't short out the motherboard. I tried taking the case apart, but with all the screws I can find removed the case still will not come apart. Anyone know of an exploded drawing or instruction set for opening the case?

How can I remove the back cover for my ipod?

I need to remove the cover because my ipod seems to be suffering from a hardrive problem. It used to just cycle through all the songs in a playlist or randomly play 5 seconds and skip to the next song, but now it just makes a whirring noise when I try to turn it on and cannot get past the apple logo.
Sometimes I get the little unhappy ipod logo and the support website but thats it.
Iv tried going into diagnostic mode and attempting to run a few tests. It failed a USB test in this mode so i think that may be one of the problems with it.
Does anyone know of a fool proof way of removing the case so I can dis/reconnect the harddrive?

Several things could keep iPod from appearing in iTunes or in the Desktop/Finder when you connect it to your PC/Mac. The most likely causes are listed below in logical order. Check from the top of the list to see if that is what's keeping iPod from appearing.

4. Try another known-good FireWire or USB through Dock Connector cable.
5. Try another known-good FireWire or USB port on your computer .
6. Try to disconnect all devices from your computer's FireWire and USB ports.
7. Windows users having trouble with their iPods should locate a Mac user. We've found that in many cases when an iPod won't show up on a PC that it will show up on the Mac. Then it can be restored. 8. Try to do an Erase (Disk Utility) on a Mac computer or a format with a PC (Disk Management tool) but ensure you choose the right Drive (your iPod not your Hard Disk of your computer). You may need to plug and unplug your iPod with the computer for several attempts, and switching around Format and Restore, and hope out of sudden, it will get recognized.
9. Diagnostic mode solution – which I copied from a thread of a post from thinktwice
“Then I cam across this special Diganostics Mode that you can get to by resetting and then while the Apple is showing pressing the Select and backwards keys simultaneously. It bring up and weird Diagnostic utility witha a abunch of tests. Here is what I did
- I tried the 5in1 test and got and error on Firewire.
- I did the HDD R/W and surprisingly it passed.
- I went on to the HDD scan. This supposedly tkaes acouple of minute so I waited. I think 4-5 dots appeared then nothing. The iPod started to get hot. THe disk was spinning away. After a while the battery got very low. THis test chews up the battery. So I escaped out by resetting and went to connect it to a power source.
My USB was dangling out of my computer and I was too lazy to get the Firewire AC adapter thing going so I connected expecting the whole lockup thing with iTunes. Surprise. IT was recognized immediately and has been working like a champ. So go figure.

Yeah, the computer will treat it as a fresh external hard disk, which will get force mounted, the computer will ask you to format the iPod. It does not really matter the format is completed or not, the key is to erase (or partly) the corrupted iPod software on the iPod, after that the computer will recognize it.
Once it has been completed, eject your iPod, open the iPod updater and interestingly, you will able to do the Restore this time.
Base on the above, that's why I suggest Windows users who experience trouble with their iPods should locate a Mac machine or vice versa. PC computer will not recognize a Mac formatted iPod, but it will get mounted in an attempt to format your iPod.
But, if none of these steps address the issue, your iPod may need to be repaired. You can arrange for service at the iPod Service Website.
I have just read an interesting solution about the Sad iPod, it does make sense but the warranty will be waived once you open the iPod, I would not do it myself as I am not good on doing this

You may be able to find a font without dots on lower case i
You can rasterzise a text layer and remove the dot.
You can convert the text layer to a shape layer and remove the dot by editing the shapes path.

Hi Luis.
I've bought one the CrReati've leather cases. The belt clip is not removeable and is more of a belt loop.
I don't like the case myself and replaced mine with a gel case. I don't know about the Belkin case, but I can say that the Creative case is not very good - poor design more than anything else IMO.

It asks for the serial number and says that my trial has expired. It rejects the serial number from the Adobe case saying "This Serial Number is not valid for this product". It thinks that I still have the expired Trial Version installed. How do I convince it (the program) that the Trial Version is long gone and the currently installed product was installed with a valid and accepted serial number????

In general theory, one now has the Edit button for their posts, until someone/anyone Replies to it. I've had Edit available for weeks, as opposed to the old forum's ~ 30 mins.
That, however, is in theory. I've posted, and immediately seen something that needed editing, only to find NO Replies, yet the Edit button is no longer available, only seconds later. Still, in that same thread, I'd have the Edit button from older posts, to which there had also been no Replies even after several days/weeks. Found one that had to be over a month old, and Edit was still there.
Do not know the why/how of this behavior. At first, I thought that maybe there WAS a Reply, that "ate" my Edit button, but had not Refreshed on my screen. Refresh still showed no Replies, just no Edit either. In those cases, I just Reply and mention the [Edit].
Also, it seems that the buttons get very scrambled at times, and Refresh does not always clear that up. I end up clicking where I "think" the right button should be and hope for the best. Seems that when the buttons do bunch up they can appear at random around the page, often three atop one another, and maybe one way the heck out in left-field.
While I'm on a role, it would be nice to be able to switch between Flattened and Threaded Views on the fly. Each has a use, and having to go to Options and then come back down to the thread is a very slow process. Jive is probably incapable of this, but I can dream.
