Removing Think theme from default profile?

This is extremely annoying, but how do I remove the Think theme? If a new user logs into the PC it is automatically created with a "Think" windows theme. I have searched the forums and keep seeing some post about uninstalling "Lenovo Windows 7 Theme 1.0" but this is not that application. This is a default oem theme included with the Lenovo PC. How can I change it so new users get the default Windows theme? Thanks.

What a co-incidence... I just deleted those same goodies. They were in /Library/Application Support/Keynote-folder on my machine. I just deleted the whole folder, cause there seemed to be nothing more but those downloaded files. And Keynote worked great afterwards. There seemed to be another folder for iWork09, which is not to be removed.

Hi,
You can use [Personalization|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/42/ed3ce7f8593eebe10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm] to do this :
1. logon as an admin and navigate to Portal Content > Portal Users > Standard Portal Users and open Every User Core Role
2. right click on User Profile and select edit
3. click on the Preview button then right click + CTRL on the iView and personalize the User Profile iView
That's it.

Permanently unpin store from default profile taskbar

Hi,
I'm creating a base image (Windows 8.1 x64 Enterprise) that will be sysprep'd for deployment. After recent Microsoft updates the Store icon keeps showing up in the task bar. I've manually unpinned it from the default profile and unchecked the Taskbar and
Navigation Properties "Show Windows Store apps in the taskbar" before capturing the image with no positive results.
I have a copy-profile command in my unattend.xml, but after deployment to a new machine, for every new user the pesky store icon is back!
This is a corporate environment, we don't want users wanting to buy and install anything.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Removing AddressBar, StatusBar from Default Application Window

Hi,
I want to hide address bar from default application window!
This application would be triggered from a link in another (web dynpro / non-web dynpro) application.
And user should not be able to see where he is gets navigated.
So, is there anyway we can hide address bar from default application window of a Web Dynpro application?

I already tried this code. But what it does is, it opens same window as new window in main application window.. so on screen I see two windows.. one parent window with URL clearly seen and 2nd child window which doesn't have address bar
So this is not as I need.

Is there any way to remove my name from the profil...

Is there any way to remove or prevent my profile from appearing in the profile search directory? I'm so tired of ALL the unwanted contact requests. Yeah I know I don't have to add them but this shouldnt even be a problem in the first place. If I want to add someone to add me I'll give them my skype name.

You may certainly remove all profile data by leaving those settings as "blank" or "not specified." I find the easiest way to do this is to open the profile settings from within the Skype "client" software.
Removing/deleting an account name from the Skype search directory closes the account. More details about this can be found here: 'Can I delete my Skype account?'

Removing fulltext option from selected profiles in URM

I am wondering if there is a way to remove/disable the fulltext search option from selected content profiles? we are wanting to remove it from one specific profile but not the remaining.
we are running 10gR3 install.

Assuming you are not trying to fill in the full text box "behind the scenes", it's not that difficult.
In your selected profile, in the profile's "side effects" section, set the following variable <$SearchEngineName="DATABASE.METADATA"$>
That will remove the full text box on the search page, and permit only searching of the metadata fields in your metadata model.
(It could also cause other issues if you are using zone indexing with any of your metadata, so test this solution to make sure it works as expected. The nice thing is that just this one profile will be affected.)

What is the best practice for removing IMAPMail files from Thunderbird Profiles folder?

I removed some old IMAP accounts via Account Settings > Remove Account. But I see that the IMAP files (Inbox, Drafts, Sent, .msf, .sbd, etc.) for the accounts are still in /Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/*.default/ImapMail. What is the proper way to delete these old account files?

When the corresponding account has been removed, there's no association to Thunderbird anymore. The files are kept on purpose in case an account has been deleted by error.
You should be certain that you don't need those files anymore though.
It probably wouldn't hurt to create a backup of your profile prior to deleting the files either.

Removing ceratin iview from compensation profile page.

I have task of removing certain views like salary data,photo etc from the compensation profile page.
The compensation profile page opens when the user select a emplyee name in the compensation planning application.
can any one help me how can i achive this.
I can see in the standard SAP compensation profile page all the iviews are present and if i uncheck the respective iview in the invisible section then it will work.but he we are changing the standard.
So can anyone let me know how can we achive it for our own customization.
I copied the entire compensation page to our custom folder by using delta link.

How can I remove Middle Name from my profile?

When posting in the forums, my name appears as Eric C Hansen. I don't want the 'C' to show up. I tried to delete it in My Profile, but it keeps reappearing.
It isn't a required field, why can't I delete it?

Thats a bug. I think if you put a space character instead of your initial it will update- not 100% though.

When I click a backup date to restore bookmarks from backup, get error message "unable to process the backup file". unable to successfully copy bookmarks from default profile to new profile, nor access the backup function successfully. any suggestions?

I had trouble with WiseStamp and was advised to create a new profile. I did and the WiseStamp issue was resolved. However, I now have no bookmarks on the new profile. I copied the places. file from the old profile to the new one, but with no success. The bookmarks do exist on the old profile. I like having WiseStamp working, but need those multitude of bookmarks more! Any advice greatly appreciated. :)

Did you try to restore from another JSON backup?
You can try to move places.sqlite to another location and only leave that backup file in the bookmarkbackups folder.

Removing Themes from 8800

Does anyone know how to remove a theme from 8800 once it has been set. It appears as though you can only assign another one and not cancel or remove it.

I'm not sure if it was supposed to, but when i restored the factory settings this removed the theme.
Since getting the firmware upgraded due to other issues, this no longer works, and when i received the phone back from the Nokia engineer a theme was already on and cannot be removed, just swapped.
Original firmware (when this worked) was v3.61 (23-08-05), current (and most up-to-date as far as i'm aware) is v3.78 (17-10-05).

You can fetch the promotion from the coupon to be removed by quering the repository and then remove the promotion from the profile using the method
removePromotion(MutableRepositoryItem pProfile, RepositoryItem pPromotion, boolean pRemoveAll) in PromotionTools component.
Do remember to iterate if there are multiple promotions associated with the Coupon.
Also remember , this might cause some anamolies in the reports as you cannot reprice the order and only we can remove the promotion from the profile so that he can use it once more for a order.
