How do I install an Adobe PDF toolbar in Internet Explorer?

If you install Acrobat 10 then it will automatically configure the PDFMaker toolbar in I.E. You can try repairing the software.
Open Acrobat -> Go to Help menu -> Repair Acrobat Installation.
    Solution #2
Select "Enable third-party browser extensions" in Internet Explorer Properties.
    1. Start Internet Explorer.
    2. Select Tools > Internet Options and click the Advanced tab.
    3. Select "Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)" and click OK.
    4. Close all Internet Explorer windows.
    5. Restart Internet Explorer.
If still doesn't work then let me know what the version of I.E and Acrobat you are using.

  • How to install Adobe PDF toolbar in Internet Explorer after uninstalling IE 10 and installing IE 9

Hello.  I need help installing Adobe PDF convert web page to pdf toolbar to my Internet Explorer 9.  I uninstalled Internet Explorer 11 and 10 because I could not open pdf files in IE 10 or 11 -- trying to open pdf documents froze/locked up Internet Explorer and I had to use Task Manager to exit Internet Explorer every time I tried opening a pdf document.  I have downgraded to IE 9 with the hope that I will have better luck.
I am using Windows 7 operating system.  I have Adobe Acrobat X Pro installed on my computer.
Now that I downgraded to IE 9, I've lost the Adobe convert web page to pdf toolbar.  It is not even in my choice of add ons in Internet Explorer when I go to Manage Add Ons.  How do I get the Adobe toolbar add on back?
I lost my Adobe Acrobat X Pro disk so do not have that to help me in any way.  What can I do?
    Your help is greatly appreciated!

If it is an issue of the AA X disk, you can download from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. Be sure to create a replacement CD in case it is not available in the future. You will still need your S/N for any reinstall. You can usually get that from the Adobe site as long as you registered Acrobat (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html).

  • What happened to PDF toolbar in Internet Explorer?

(Think I may have posted in the wrong forum -- Acrobat.com -- so I'm reposting here)
I recently installed the beta of Internet Explorer 9 on my Windows 7 system. I liked it well enough, but the install caused my Acrobat 9 Professional toolbar to disappear. The only PDF item under "Manage Add-ons" is Adobe PDF Link Helper, which doesn't seem to do anything. I ran "Repair" several times from Acrobat to no effect. I then uninstalled the beta IE9 and restored IE8, then ran Repair again. No joy. The two icons in the toolbar (convert and convert rectangular region) are long gone. However my Office 2007 applications all have their Acrobat items present and they all work.
I understand that the PDF toolbar has some problems with the 64-bit version of IE8, so I've tried using the 32-bit version, again to no effect.
I can print to the PDF print driver, but that's a bit of a blunt tool and rather inconvenient. I just want to get the toolbar back. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

Keep in mind that IE9 is still in Beta.  They may have support for it once the full version is released.  I
have IE9 Beta installed on my Win7 notebook and I will take a look to see if I see any options for the toolbar.
I know that with IE9 they were trying to eliminate a lot of the "chrome" of the browser to streamline it like Google's browser.
Firefox 4 Beta has done something similar to maximize website real estate.

  • -impossibility to open Google account through Google Toolbar (in Internet Explorer i can do it)

-not possible to open Google account from the Google Toolbar. if i change the password i can access to the account but if, for example, close and open (restart) the browser, the anomaly is back..
-it happens in different computers and with another Google accounts
-with the Internet Explorer there is NO anomaly at all
    thank you for your attention,
    fernando

-i forgot to mention that i have installed the Add-on Compatibility Reporter 0.9 to make work the Google Toolbar as well as another extensions
-even with no access to the Google account, i can open some options from it like, for example, Gmail, Google Maps, ImTranslator, etc but NOT the Bookmarks one (a very useful one because you have access to your favorites pages when you are not at home...)
-the anomaly is happening since a few days ago only, before i had not any problem

  • Re: How do I activate the Adobe pdf maker toolbar for Internet Explorer (Windows 8.1) Please !

    Greetings one and all.
I would apprecite any advide and/or instructions on the designated subject matter.
I downloaded the Adobe pdfmaker toolbar and activated it as per the instructions over the internet.
It seemed to work well until I updagraded from Windows 8 to 8.1 (free upgrade).
I'd appreciate any added feedback from any/all individuals who have experienced the same issue.
    Many thanks in advance.

Do you have all the latest point updates for Acrobat XI installed?  11.0.06 was the first point version to support IE11.

  • Acrobat PDF Toolbar in Internet Explorer 7 Disappears

I have the Adobe Acrobat Web PDF Converter addin on IE7 under WinXP Pro. The toolbar for the function appears normally when I am browsing in the first tab. If I open another tab for browsing, the PDF toolbar disappears. It is listed in View/Toolbars, but it is deselected for viewing and cannot be selected; if you select it to display, it simply does nothing.
In other words I always have the PDF toolbar displayed and functioning in the first tab, but for any subsequent tabs it is not present. This happens even though the toolbars are locked, it just disappears when I select a secondary tab.
Any ideas? Is this an Acrobat bug or not?
    Pete B

I'll think about it. I can live with it only being functional in one tab, and I do not see much in A8 Pro that I use that would justify $150+ for the upgrade (I am just a retired guy with no active employment and limited income).
The only reason I have the Pro version now is for the forms features and the PDF driver, I do not use much of anything else beyond the standard functions. And act8ually I have several other programs that have a PDF converter in them to save a file as a PDF.
However, I may consider an upgrade to A8 Standard, is this toolbar functionality provided in that version? Also, the product info is unclear, does A8 Std have a form tool that I can use on a scanned form to provide fillable form fields like I can with A7 Pro?

  • Acrobat Professionnel toolbar from CS3 in Internet Explorer

I install CS3 Creative Suite Design Premium. The installation process install a PDF Toolbar in Internet Explorer 7 (Under Windows XP Prof). I click on the bar to expand a document list at the left of iExplore. Since that, I can't used Internet Explore 7 because it hangs. I tried to uninstall Acrobat, Explorer7 (work fine in explorer6) but when I install version 7 again it came back.
Please help I can't used Explorer I have to used Firefox...

    Hi iHeartDaDobe,
(Nice user name!) Acrobat/Reader XI don't have a preference setting for displaying web-based PDFs. You are correct, that you need to set that in the browser. Please see Acrobat Help | Display PDF in browser | Acrobat, Reader XI.

  • No Audio in Internet Explorer - Please Help!

    Hi all.
OK heres the problem. I have a Quicktime 'MOV' clip (the clip contains audio). The filesize is small at 810 KB. The clip plays great in the Standalone Quicktime player. The clip also plays great when i open it in Firefox. Now if i open the same clip in 'Internet Explorer 6.0.2' I lose the 'sound' but everything else is fine.
Ive tried browsing the Microsoft forums for days & i just cant seem to get a straight answer to this. This is my last resort, so please please please help me! I mainly use Firefox, so I dont have much experience with IE, so it could just be a QT plugin issue with IE.
The clip is for a Website & if it wont play sound in IE its pointless.
Any help/info or advice will be greatly appreciated. Peace!

    What is your Reader version?
It seems that your toolbar is somehow split into two; one on top, and one further down.  Yet the toolbar does not really look like the Adobe Reader toolbar; do you have any other PDF viewer installed?

  • How to get the PDF Convert button to show on Internet Explorer 9

Using Internet Explorer 9 and Adobe Acrobat 9 and the PDF convert button does not show up.  How do I fix this?

    Hi R Voorheis

  • Firefox is set as default but Internet Explorer sometimes conflicts

On the whole, firefox works well and is set as my default internet browser. Sometimes though, if someone sends me something where internet explorer has been used, I get Internet Exlorer trying to open but all that happens is that the window continually opens and closes and goes completely haywire until I shut down the whole computer. This only happens when someone sends me something where they have used I.Explorer. I avoid it all costs even though I sstill have the program on the computer obviously.

You got to do 2 things to solve this:
    1) Open Firefox -> go to Tools Menu -> Options -> Advanced
-> System Defaults section -> put a Checkmark on "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup".
    -> Click OK.
    2) Open My Computer -> go to Control Panel -> Internet Properties -> Programs
-> at the bottom Remove Checkmark from "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser.
    -> Click OK.
    Check if its working.

  • Internet explorer 11 flashplayer stopped working

It appears as a black screen that doesn't want to load any video content. I have the latest flash player version for internet explorer. I recently uninstalled Google chrome to see if it was causing it.

If you just upgraded to IE11, the following might be useful:
First, confirm that ActiveX Filtering is configured to allow Flash content:
    https://forums.adobe.com/thread/867968
Internet Explorer 11 introduces a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.
You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11
If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.
If you're on IE11 on Windows 8 and higher and it *was* working, then stopped, that's pretty weird.  Either you've changed something or installed software (Ad blockers, privacy tools, etc) that are preventing Flash from running, or something got corrupted on the filesystem.  The best way to fix that is to find the last windows update in Add/Remove Programs for Internet Explorer and uninstall it, then re-install it from Windows Update.  This will usually get things back to a working state.  Unfortunately this is a difficult solution because there's no way to uninstall and reinstall Internet Explorer itself on Win8+, and Flash Player is actually a built-in component of IE at this point (there's nothing to download from Adobe).
