Removing Unused Queries from BW

Hi All,
I am trying to delete the UnUsed Queries from BW using the transaction RSZDELETE. But I am getting the following error " Query object 3IMQYHOKBZ4XIY9BXZTMZTPPG is blocked. Deletion has been cancelled."
Is this related to authorizations or I need to do some setting changes.
If any one faced the similar kind of Problem, please let me know how to over come this situation.

Check whether this object is locked in a transport request.
Go to SE16 and enter table E071 and in the field OBJ_NAME, enter 3IMQYHOKBZ4XIY9BXZTMZTPPG. Execute and it will tell you which request is holding this object. Remove/unlock this object will allow you to delete the query.

Checked with Oracle Support team and confirmed below points
--> incorporated into the Current product and consider as BUG it may resolve future release
--> Currently there isnt any automatic method to remove the unused objects like reports, filters,folder etc from catalog.

Removing unused media from Sequence cause crashing

I am trying to remove unused media from projects prior to archiving to free up/clean up finished projects. Each project I have tried to do this with I am having the program close during process. Then when I try to reopen project it will not open and keeps crashing. Firstly are these project now corrupt, and can I still archive them somehow or get the project back?? Please help as the projects I have tried to do this with aren't of huge importance but I do need to try to clean up and archive others that are.

It is safe to use the media manager...
Check your hard drive for space...for 30 mins means you'll need at least another 6.5 GB of free space... make it 8GB to be safe...
In media manager (NOTE : also read the manual carefully) use the COPY option...
Using COPY, ensure the 'duplicate selected items and place into a new project' box IS ticked, this will set up a completely new project and folder, containing ONLY EVERYTHING you have in your 30 min sequence... and will not delete or change anything from the origonal... If you go to the new folder you'll see another folder called 'media'... this will contain all the clips etc.
Then, open up the new COPIED project, watch it to check it's ok... if it's cool (which it should be) then you now have a completely independant project that is nothing to do with the origonal... and contains only used media.
Then, open up final cut pro docs>capture scratch> 'project name' and you can simply delete ALL your old media manually, knowing that everything you need is now in a new folder elsewhere....
Of course, this only works if you have that little bit of extra space left on your drive for the new media to be copied to... but i find it's the safest, and easiest way of removing unused media.

Remove unused languages from personalization

Hi,
I've read some thread so far concerning "Personalization" and "how to remote unused languages" but most (all?) of them are now outdated.
Following links / notes are no longer applicable :

Please check your link, it's the same answer for 04 and 04s : outdated.
It seems that SAP made some changes since a few release.
Now it's a WebDynpro Page which manages the personalization for user preferences and there's a Webdynpro Java involved in the process : UmeEnduserPortalApp.
Does anyone has the possibility to read from the application source code what's the method used now to make the language list for the end user ?

EDI Outbound IDOC Remove unused fields from segment

Hi All,
I am configuring a outbound idoc scenario for Message type ORDERS. The basic type for this message type is ORDERS05.
The segment E1EDKA1 has 44 fields, I need only the first field and the last field of this segment.
How do I remove the unused fields in this segment ? I Tried BD56 and BD32 But they are for removing the complete segment and so does not serve my purpose.
Any pointers to this issue is appreciable .

Segmetns of standard message types can be deleted from BD53. But I don't think deleting fields would be possible from segments of standard idoc type. What you can do is you can create your own custom idoc type with the fields you want and allign it with the standard message type ORDERS. This should solve your purpose.

How to remove unused codepage from system

Hello all,
Has anyone yet removed codepage (customer codepages) from the system.
If so, could you please tell me how to do so?
I tryed with SPAD, but the option "delete" is always inactive. This customer codepages are also not found with transaction SCP.
I want to delete them, because these are old test-codepages which I don't want to convert regarding my forthcoming unicode-conversion.

The report rscp0004 is obsolete.

the problem is, that these customer codepages (in my case: 9000, 9001 and 9002) don't show up in rscpinst, and they're also not in table TCPDB.
I can only see these codepages in transaction SPAD, and they generate an error/warning at the unicode check.
These codepages are in table TCP00 and the characters are in TCP02.

Deleting queries from POV Manager in SmartView Word

I am unable to delete the unused queries from POV Manager in SmartView Word. The delete option is grayed out. I am using SmartView 11.1.2.1.00.
How can I delete the queries/connections? Please let me know.

I am not sure whether this feature is availble on the latest release 102. But you can see many powerpoint related smart view issues are fixed on this version. If you can reproduce the same in "Oracle® Hyperion Smart View for Office, Fusion Edition- Release 11.1.2.0.000 Patch Set 1 (PS1): 11.1.2.1.102", open a service ticket to oracle support for further assistance.

What is the best (recommended) way to remove unused tabs from the RE-FX screens?
The user requires to remove the Option Rate Method, Differing measurements and Supplementary Texts from the Real Estate Contract program.

HI,
In BDT menu RECAMENUBDT, you get an option to manage screen behaviours of all the RE master data as well as RE contracts.
In transaction REGC0006 you can view the screen sequences for RE contracts. Generally, SAP permits modification in standard screen sequences, however, it is advisible to avoid touching them. Instead users can define their own sequences by copying the standard delivered screen sequnces and eliminating tabs that are not of user's need.
Once you have defined your own scree sequesce, you need to assign this screen sequence to the RE contract type in which you need this user defined screen sequence. In IMG menu in step define contract type you can select the screen sequence you need for a particular contract type.
In this way you can have differnt screen sequences for different types of RE contracts.

Remove queries from Portal Roles

Hi,
We have a requirement in the portal and BW queries.
We want to remove queries from the portal roles. That is the queries must not be physically deleted, but they should not appear in the portal when viewed through Business Explorer.
Is this possible with in the portal. How can this be done?

Go to TCode
PFCG.
Enter the role in which the query is assigned.
Then go to the Tab menu,
Select the name of the report or Query.
Remove the entry from the role.
This will do what you need.
Its in BW side not in R/3.

Removing an unused modem from my account - how can I do this???

I can't use the chat function and I can't find anywhere on the website what steps I need to take to remove a modem device from my bill - it hasn't been used in months and I no longer have need of it and it's no longer under any contract. I don't need to suspend it or upgrade it, I just need to remove it - how can I do this and why is it so hard to get instructions on this?

This is in response to the message reply to my request for assistance removing
an unused modem from my account. The question was asked as to why I was removing
the modem. The reason for the cancellation, as stated, is that I no longer have
need of the modem. It is not because I have an alternate internet solution, it
is because I no longer need the solution that the modem was providing. There is

How do I remove an unused app from App Store list?

With the introduction of Notification Center on Mountain Lion, I no longer need growl to give me notifications. I've shut it down and removed it from my system, but it still shows up in my app list in App Store for upgrades. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove it. I've tried to highlight the app and delete it. No dice. No menu item for removing the item from the list. In the itunes app list, I can hide the app when I'm no longer using it. How do I get rid of the app in the Mountain Lion app store? I don't want to be notified anymore.

You want to Hide the app in the App Store (as seventy one suggested). This will stop you from recieving notifications about updates.
In Mountain Lion, fnd the app in Purchases. Right click on it, and choose "Hide Purchase..."

Remove an unused drive from Event Library???

An external hard drive that I no longer use (or in fact have anymore) is still showing the Event Library of iMovie '09 with an exclamation mark icon.
Is there anyway to remove the drive from iMovie?

Do I dare just go in and strip out the code that references that old external drive?

How do I remove standard apps from an iPhone 5?

I am an IT in a government office who just switched our fleet to iPhones. We are not permitted to use certains apps that are either not in our data contract, touch the Cloud, or cause cost/personnel issues. Those items I try to corral in a folder "Unusable Apps" on a separate page where the user has little eye contact with them (outta sight outta mind right). I go through the motions of turning off every notification, update, share feature, etc. I can find but the icons are still on the phone. I have a fleet of about 100 iPhones and at least half my users are sneaky & curious and often try to reactivate things I have already hidden or turned off per our agency telecommunications policy. I just want them removed all together so I don't have to keep going through this and for those who can't fight temptation - they won't have to anymore. How do I remove standard apps from an iPhone 5?
