All of a sudden Photoshop won't start [on a Macbook Air]

Dear all,
I'm on a MacBook Air with OS X 10.10.2, and I use Photoshop about once a month, but now I really need it, and it won't start:
- Immediately after I click on the Photoshop icon I get "Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 cannot be opened because of a problem." And when I click on the "Report..." button I get a very technical message (see below).
- I've used Photoshop on this machine for about a year with no problem, but recently I had a problem and needed to restore from my TimeMachine backup.
- I don't know if the problem occurred immediately after the restore or not.
- I've read innumerable threads on various forums, but nothing describes my problem exactly. I suspect a problem with my paths and permissions (since I read a report that restoring from a TimeMachine causes such problems occasionally), but I don't know which path is corrupted/missing/unreadable.
- I've tried creating a new admin account and starting Photoshop from there. It didn't work.
- I don't mind reinstalling, but I don't have an installer image. I started with Photoshop 6, then updated to CS2, CS4 and eventually CS5. I do have all the serial numbers but not all update-images.
I would appreciate any hints on how to further diagnose and some the problem.

Did tou try resetting the preferences usins the Photoshop keys as your tryind to start Photoshop. Toy cab also use Windows explored or Mac finder deleteor rename you userid Photoshop preferende if you change you OS preferences to be able to see hiddeb files and folders. Same usernames, internal vs. external domains, conflict when usingWebAccess

Currently running GW 8.0.2hp2 on NetWare 6.5sp8.
We have a single domain and single post office, and a single WebAccess
and single GWIA gateway. We about 25 external domains setup to allow
using external users' e-mail addresses our in internal corporate address
books and distribution lists following the procedure outlined here:

The problem is that one of my internal users in our corporate domain/PO
has the same userid as a user in one of the external domain/PO's. So,
for example, their e-mail addresses are:

[email protected]
Everything works except that my internal user cannot use GW WebAccess.
Trying to login to WebAccess results in the following error:
"Please login again. You may have typed your name or password
incorrectly. Remember that your user name must be unique."
If I either change my internal user's GroupWise userid, or if I delete
or rename the external user's userid, then my internal user can login
into WebAccess without a problem. So this does appear to be due to
non-unique username's. The WebAccess is seeing the internal and
external user names, and not allowing my internal user to login.
Is there a work around for this since the users are in separate domains
and PO's, or do I need to just rename my internal user's account? I
have no control over the external user's e-mail address, so I can't
rename their userid.
Is there a way to keep the "default WebAcess" gateway from looking at
external domain's for user account authentication? I have tried setting
up a class of service in the WebAccess gateway to deny access to the
external domain, and that hasn't worked either.

Safari 6 in Mountain Lion lost window drop shadow

After I upgraded to Mountain Lion, I have a weird problem with Safari 6: the window does not have the drop shadow, and when the window is activated only the title of the Web page gets darker color in the top bar of the frame. It's a very annoying problem, since there is no visible frame if the Safari window is overlaid on top of another window with white background. This happens only on one user account and on one computer out of the four that I upgraded from Lion to Mountain Lion. I tried to figure out which preference setting controls that, but neither removing all preferences for Safari and starting from scratch, nor copying the Safari preferences from the library of another user account that is fine did help.
Perhaps somebody can tell me how is the coloring of Safari windows handled. Windows of all other applications are fine -- it's just the Safari's window that gets the problem.

I bit the bullet and created a new account. I wanted to preserve account name, so I deleted the old one, but chose the option to leave the home folder intact (it was renamed to "userid (Deleted)"). Then I moved what I needed to the home folder of the new account. iCloud helped quite a bit, as I did not want to move any of the ~/Library content. VirtualBox VMs moved quite nicely with the use of File->Add. Dropbox took some time to sync, but Google Drive refused to reconnect to the folder; thank goodness I have gigabytes on the former, and just a few files on the latter. Time Machine is busy, of course, but... Mountain Lion looks like Mountain Lion now
It's been much faster than trying to fish around for the solution to the problem. Still, I am actually interested in discovering how exactly the windows are decorated on Mountain Lion. The developers of Mac themes must know, but I do not know any of them

Changing NP User ID UDF in business One

Hey All,
We have a client who had all of their netpoint userids created automatically by netpoin. (numeric ids). They want to change some user ids to sensible user ids for their users. If they change the netpoint user UDF in business one the synch runs and starts getting SQL constraint errors because it is trying to link the same contact more then once. Surely there is a way for them to rename a userid through the interface?

I would try to rename the userid in netpoint, then before synchronization, change th NPUserid in B1, so that when it synchs the Userid exists, and it should still be linked to orders, etc

Regarding to error messages, it seems that the
ntdsai.dll file caused the issue. Based on current situation, please use
sfc /scannow command to scan protected system files and check if find error and repair. Meanwhile, you can also navigate to the location of this DLL file and confirm details.

Renaming HTML links in email apps

I use Yahoo mail on my iPad as my mail client. Although I can receive renamed links, I can't seem to create them using the
standard HTML format for doing so. If I copy and paste them, they default to the HTML text.
There also doesn't appear to be any active edit link to select for renaming the link once highlighted.
What am I doing wrong?

This is how I've found a way of doing:
Go to home/library/mail/signatures select all the files in there
Go to preferences in Mail and create a new signature
In the home/library/mail/signatures you will see a new file *.webarchive
Open your html signature with Safari
Go to File/Save as ... Save as over the new *.webarchive choosing webarchive for the format
Restart Apple mail if you need to
(for the images you will need to have them posted on a server)

Rename the file when submitting a form

Hi, I've to send the form in PDF format and I've got various functions to do it:

This behavior seems to me like bug. Because even moving subscriber to the default partition is not written in the documentation, this move
should also evoke modification of LDAP profile of subscriber to keep information about used partition aligned with physical occurrence.
Could you answer my question? And if it is really bug and you can reproduce it, is it fixed already in hot fix release?

I believe a support case was opened about this and the resolution was that you need to recognize that you are not only changing the name of the folders but also changing them from one userid (mailbox) to another (new_mailbox). The partition on which the folders should be stored should be defined by the mailMessageStore attribute on the user. If the destination userid does not exist in LDAP, it will use the default partition.

Rename Category Dimension

Hello.
Instead of using Category, we are using Scenario and have updated constants and system_constants. Everything works fine, except the web landing page when the Application selected is Application Not Set. In this case, an error is generated because funtion dbo.uf_GetCategoryMember does not exist. I create the function by copying from Apshell, then the landing page with Application Not Set is fine. Is there something else that needs to change because of the Category rename? The solution of creating the function would be okay, except the function disappears. The day after I create it, it's gone. Don't know why.

Hi Nancy,
I suspect that something didn't process properly when you created the category-type dimension, or added it as a secured dimension in one (or more) of your applications.
I have an appset here where I renamed category as version, and it's secured in the applications.
I have a function dbo.uf_GetVersionMember, but no function called dbo.uf_GetCategoryMember. I've never examined this function, but it appears to have something to do with the member-based security validation check that's performed when users request or submit data.
As Alwin recommends, you should try reprocessing the application. I'd also try removing the security on the category-type dimension, and then re-applying it. I would guess that you'll want to find that a function called "dbo.uf_GetScenarioMember" is created, but I'm not certain how this all works.
You can check in SQL Server Mgmt Studio to see in real time whether the function is created -- in the object explorer, look in your database -> Programmability -> Functions -> Table-valued functions, and you'll see the list.

OBIEE 10G how to rename a ibot?

So I create this test iBot for an answer report (name is test). Now I want to rename it to like 'ibot promotion aaa'. How can I do that? I tired Manage Catalog but there is no iBots only answers and prompts I created. Thanks.

Change UserID

Is it possible to change a UserID?
Setting the Business Partner Contacts Synch field to "Business One Internal Code" seems very convenient for installations with numerous existing contacts. But it would be nice to be able to change the WebTools UserID to a more "friendly" format than a basic number.
I've tried, with the following results:
When Business Partner Contacts Synch field is set to "Business One Internal Code", changes to the Web UserID in B1 does not replicate to WebTools.
When Business Partner Contacts Synch field is set to "WebTools UserID Field", changes to the Web UserID in B1 does replicate to WebTools... but adds a new user instead of changing the existing user information.
In the latter event, WebTools also does not seem to always allow the deletion of duplicate users. I haven't determined a pattern yet, but I think it may have to do with the fact that the BP Synch Field was changed after an initial synch. So it locks down the UserID that was originally synched.

Shane, I'm trying to do the same thing and I was getting the same error message from rename.aspx when renaming a User. However, after adding the column OwnerUserID, I'm faced with a new error message:

I've tried adding UserID as a column in the Activity table, but the error message still comes up. Any idea as to why this is occuring?

Rename User in SAP Netweaver - how to get user-dependent object transferred

Hello group
Recently the rules for coding of Userids within our company changed.
As a consequence we would have to rename all SAP userids according to the new rules.
However, user rename in SU01 doesn't take along the user-dependent entries in several SAP tables where for instance user-specific variants are stored.
Is there a decent solution to this ?

The closest thing I can think of is the SAP System Landscape Optimization services. I have only ever once been involved in Chart of Account conversions with them about 5 years back, but that was successfull

SSO userid for a partner application

Hi,
We have one application deployed on WebLogic Application Server this is registred as Partner application over SSO server.
On application side we have installed Oracle HTTP Server as webserver and configured mod_osso.
Now when user attempt to access any secured page SSO askes for the authentication. And on successful login user landed back to application page configured while creating Partner application.
After login we need userid of user who logged in on sso server. I have tried following and getting null.

So the user has successfully authenticated and can access protected areas of the application?
Have you tried using Http headers to see values/attribute names?
