Render Queue not working in Media Composer CC

WHen I send a file to the Queue in Media composer from Premiere AME opens with nothing in the queue. Any thoughts on fixing this?

It's not always instantaneous. How long do you wait for the sequence to show up?

Which: Export AE Render Queue ? PP Export Media ? Media Encoder?

The output of my PP and AE project ( combined video and animation ) looks terrible when exported or queued in PP or the CS5 Media Encoder.
It renders slow and has shown poor performance in the Mac OS X Activity Monitor.
When output to the AE queue ... the project looks great,, encodes super fast, and 'finally' shows awesome performance in the Activity Monitor.
I spent too much time trying different settings before I tried the AE renderer ... which, by the way, is buried away in the Compostition Menu under Add to Render Queue.
First, It is standard to output as a File command .. so there should be a Export / Save As ... > to the "Render Queue" .. and who cares what a 'render queue' is .. all I want to do is save file "A" in format "B".
So ... basically , my question is / are:
Why does both the PP Export and CS5 Media Encoder produce such bad results?
and / or
What are the correct settings for PP Export and CS5 Media Encoder to produce excellent results matching the AE Render Queue?
Why do you have multiple inconsistent, confusing and dysfunctional Exporting / Saving options?
Seems that the CS5 "Media Encoder" should be junked and replaced with whatever engine is running inside the AE renderer .. and all other Export / Save / Add to Render Queue / and God knows what else you guys call it ... should be routed to the new Media Encoder.

Why is there a "com.adobe.dynamiclinkmanagerCS5" in my trash ( Mac OS X ) every time I turn on the machine?

Per Session / per User shaping and queuing not working on 7206/7204 on 15.2

we are running the following scenario - to provide QoS (shaping/queueing) for our broadband (pppoe) users, we have configured several service-policies on our 7206/7204 BRAS-Routers. The service-policies are applied with RADIUS-Attributes when the pppoe-users dials in. The service-policies look like this

We are applying the policies with the following Cisco-AV-Pair attribute
lcp:interface-config=service-policy output POL-BM-DEF-P_4m-DSCP-OUT
Until recently that did work pretty good when using software 12.2(33)SRC3. But it turned out that there is a bug in this software that causes that the policy is applied but not working correct sometimes. See bug CSCsv27825. Although that bug does not match the software we are using, the symptoms do. Basically the parent shaper is not working, so there is no backpressure, no need for qos to kick in ;-)
The recommendation was to upgrade to Version 15.2(4)M5. When downloading the image there was a recommendation on the website to use Version 15.2(4)M6 instead, because of some important bugfixes. So we installed that, system cmes back online, everything works - except the service-policies. they are not applied at all any more.
After doing some tests it turns out that
- Policies that shape are not applied. It does not matter if using the ip:sub-qos-policy-out=xxx or lcp:interface-config=service-policy output xxx attribute.
- Policies that police like the one here are applied
policy-map POL-POLICE-DEF-P_1M-DSCP-OUT
class class-default
police 1000000
We prefer the shaping way, because of the smoother handling of bursty traffic.
Any ideas/recommendations ? I've tbeen readign a litte bit on the internet - that problem is not new, but unfortunately no one has a solution :-(

Short update: as soon as some queuing configuration is present in the policy (parent and/or child) it is not applied. i tried to be extra clever and combine the "policer" parent policy with our child-policy which does priority queuing - not applied. Even the parent-policy alone with no child policy (just the shaper) is not gettign applied.
Any ideas what to debug to get a reason why it is not working ?

All render options not working

I'm working on a large project and all has been going well.... all of a sudden my render isn't working. It just gives me an instantaneous flash of the status bar and then nothing. I need to render some audio. I tried to add audio that has already been successfully rendered to see if that worked, and it does not. Basically, I can render nothing further.

Urls do not work when I compose messages

My links do not work when I drag a website url to my new message or type it in (beginning with http). I can always click on links that I get from others but my links do not seem to "convert" when I send them out. There is an exception, my webpage signature always works.

Preview is not working for MEdia files

Suddenly whenever I would like to have a quick look for any video file via (Space bottom) its not working, keep giving that "Loading preview" but never show the video.
i am using quick time X.

There are quite a few different settings that you can choose from when converting a RAW file to a DNG. Without knowing what settings you set up in LightRoom there's no way to tell why your images aren't importing properly.
Roughly speaking, a linear DNG is one where the first part of the RAW conversion process (called debayerising or demosaicing) has already been done by Adobe.

M/AMC - "Ad Render" Functionality not working...

System:- SAP IS-M/AMC (Media & Advertisement - Classified)
The landscape of my setup of M/AM & M/AMC is on the same server and I could very well create a simple order and compose a simple ad and save it.
While booking a classified advertisement and choosing a predefined template of "REAL ESTATE" we tried using option -- in the UI Editor Menu, Ad -> "RENDER" the text is not getting updated in the editing area.
Where could be the problem, please revert ASAP.

Render Queue stopped working

I have done about 50 comps in the past few days when all of a sudden it stops working. I hit render and nothing happens. But it does start rendering and a blank file appears but it's not correct. In fact the render once started never ends. So it's a bug with cc 14. I tried re-starting, creating a new project. But I'm stuck. I might have to do a re- install.

What changed? Software update? Settings? Destination drive or folder? Source footage or file type? Plug-ins used?
Try rendering a project that worked before. If that is successful, start digging into the changes in the projects that are having problems. If nothing works then see the first question. Something did.

Digi@nwhere A/D Plus on Windows XP MCE (not working with Media Center)

I just recently bought a MSI Digi@nywhere A/D Plus from Newegg.com http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815127008 to replace the WinTV by Hauppage that came with my HP Media Center m7640n, after installing the card and drivers, I am able to watch TV in the ArcSoft application that came on the CD, but using the Windows Media Software
I've applied every possible update/rollup for my Windows Media software, but it just says Quote
"At least one tuner that supports a standard (NTSC) TV signal must be installed to configure the TV signal. Please ensure that your tuner hardware is correctly installed, restart the computer, and try again."
What am I doing wrongly that Media Center is not finding the card? Since my software is the 2005 version, from what I've read supports ATSC, and was listed on the Newegg.com and MSI spec as supported.

I can view the TV in the ArcSoft TotalMedia software and everything works fine, but Media Center still fails to recognize the card. I'd really prefer Media Center because of it's enhance EPG & recording scheduling over TotalMedia

Render Previews - not working?

I'm attempting to render my Premiere timeline (in AME) using previews. My timeline has been rendered to a Cineform codec. All is green and as expected there, but the transcode from Cineform to H264 is taking hours (with 6-8 minute preview rendered sequences)
am I missing something?

Thanks Ian. So to see if I understand correctly ... when I hover over a template in the print module the preview window will show what the template will look like in print but not necessarily how it will look with the selected photo?

Runtime Page editing not working using Oracle Composer(Pagecustomizable)

I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0
We have used content presenter to display static pages from content server.
If we use Oracle composer component (<pe:pageCustomizable>) we should be able to edit the page at runtime.
However in our case when we press (Ctrl+Shift+C) it comes with the edit window panel correctly,
however when we click on the edit button the edit popup window it closes automatically and not able to edit the content.
So what could be the probable reason why it is not allowing to edit the page.

1) Could you check that content integration and edition inline is enabled?.
2) Check that the user that are you using have correct rights in this content.
3) Check log files to verify if something wrong is happening.
4) Check with firebug for styles or JavaScript problems are in conflict.

My Render is not working in CC 2014- any ideas?

Just installed CC 2014 and I can't render at all. All of the usual shortcuts and even using the Menu bar won't render the timeline.

I was able to render using In and Out markers and then Rendering from Menu bar.

Audio not working in media applications

So my audio works, all the little kde sound affects are there. but when I try to open a file in kaffiene or amarok it says "all audio drivers failed to initialize" or something along those lines. I don't know what else to do

Configure it to use the running Soundserver or disable the Soundserver and let dmix handle the mixing.

Dynamic link not working for Media Encoder

When I put one or more timelines in que from PP CS6 for export and then start the cue all I get is a message saying it is opening dynamic link but it just stays at that point and does not actually start the export process. What can cause this? Thanks for your help.

Use the uninstall scripts from Adobe to completely remove all vestiges of PPro from your computer. Then perform the installation.
