Render to Action Produces Very Noticable Clicks When Process Completes

I've been using a combination of the Waveform Spectrum, Noise Reduction, Clicks and Pops Analysis and Apple Graphic EQ Effect to clean up audio. When I'm happy with the results, I use "Render to Action," but it creates very noticeable clicks in my audio file.
I export my audio from FCP as a aiff and bring that into Soundtrack Pro.
I use the Waveform Spectrum to "surgically" cut and clean up large portions of audio (usually the stuff I can't tune out with the Graphic EQ). Then I use the Noise Reduction Tool to eliminate some of the rumbling noise. I then run the Clicks and Pops Analysis. When everything seems to be in places, I use the Apple Graphic EQ to fine tune my audio (sometimes I'll use 10 or 31 bands, depending on the severity of the sound).
After all this work, save the project and get this message that says something to the like of "you must use render to action if you want to use this file in FCP or in a multitrack document." I render to project, then all my work seems to go to heck because there are large audio spikes in my work.
How can I avoid these spikes so that I can export a pretty clean audio file?

The method on the action attribute should only be called ... in this case ...when the button is clicked.
That is, whether it was commented out or not, the method on the action attribute should NOT have been called UNLESS I click on the button. I have another h:commandButton just beside the one that was commented out, and the method on THAT one is not called unless I click the button.

With a PDF Dynamic form using show/hide actions, how to ensure that when the completed form is saved, closed and re-opened, the form still show the fields as before it was closed?
I have developed a form with fields hidden by default, that become visible based on box ticked or radio button selections.
My problem is that, when I close the form and re-open it, it comes back to it's default presentation, regardless of the information already recorded in the form (including in the now hidden fields.
How to correct that

I've had the same problem. This solved it...
Go to the "Form properties..." in the File-menu. Select "Run-time" to the left and in the box "Scripting" Preserve scripting changes to form when saved: choose Automatically (Script-based state changes are saved locally in an insecure fashion. This option cannot be used for certified forms).

Very slow response when I click on a link, but almost instant response if I go back and click a second time.

I often get very slow response when I click on a link, any link. But if I go back and click on the link again, then the page will open almost immediately. I discovered this by accident and noticed that this happens every time. It would be nice if I got fast response on the first click without having to do this silly procedure and it seems to me that there's a simple fix. I would appreciate it if you could help. I'm open to any and all ideas. Thanks again.

See if any of the following fix it.
Try logging out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap 'Sign Out' on the popup and then log back in.
If that doesn't fix it then try closing the iTunes store app via the phone's multitasking bar and see if it works properly when you open the app : double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag iTunes from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and the click the home button to close the taskbar.
A third thing to try is a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

Just noticed that when I close my mail app by double clicking the home button and swiping up it dies something weird. After doing this when I open my mail, instead of showing all my mailboxes it automatically opens one of them instead. Anyone know why?

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. Mouse clicks when hands on handrests

so i dont know if this is normal or what, but if my hands are on the handrests (not touching the trackpad) then the mouse gets clicked.... its fine if my hands are barely touching it but any pressure at all and the mouse clicks... very annoying when trying to type and suddenly you are back a page or in a different window

Nope, that is not normal. I would kinda look at your hands though and make sure that say your palm, or your thumb is not unnoticably taping the trackpad. I notice that when I type that my right hand especially that of my right hand the outside of my thumb hangs over the trackpad quite a bit and has caused some problems for me when im not paying attention and have rested it on the trackpad accidently then tried to move the mouse and nothing happens. You may actually be taping it JUST enough and not noticing it. Other wise I would take it in and have it checked out.

Audio clicks when playback is stopped.

In the process of recording a couple of bass guitars that were Keymapped into sampler instruments, I noticed some strange audio behavior. While playing the new sampler instruments, finger lift off from my MIDI guitar controller was causing a clicking or sucking sound each and every time. (The recorded notes in Logic were allowed to decay naturally and the samples were not looped.)
So I went to the recording in Logic and sure enough, hitting the space bar or numerical decimal would elicit a click when stopping playback. A quick test recording was completed in Digital Performer with the same result. Also a quick test in Logic with the smallest and largest i/O settings. Same problem.
Recording signal into the Mac via Built-in Line input also produces the same clicking. So that removes suspicion for my interface (828mkll with Black Lion mod) which has been a rock-solid performer.
I have 5 GB of Ram. OSX10.5.5, 7200 RPM sata drives, etc.
Is this some sort of core audio issue?

Ok, I recorded each bass chromatically into Logic in real time (not triggering samples via MIDI).
The resulting audio files were opened in Keymap to be converted to an EXS24 sampler instruments.
The lift off clicking noise occurs with both basses but not with factory sampler instruments I play with the Godin LGX-SA.
The point about the spacebar or numerical pad decimal point is that when I use either of these to stop/start playback of the original audio file in Logic, clicking occurs. Uninterrupted audio playback is fine. Interrupted playback causes clicking which should not occur. While attempting to problem solve the funny lift off noise while playing the sampler instruments, I noticed that interrupting playback of the original recording in Logic caused clicking.
I recorded the same bass guitars into DP (not MIDI-triggered samples) through the same interface with the same clicking problem when audio file playback is stopped via the spacebar or DP keyboard commands.
So there are no MIDI messages involved here. The point of mentioning the sampler instruments is just that that was the when I noticed the audio problem. For simplicity sake, if we leave sampler instruments out of the discussion, I am still left with some sort of audio problem.
The same basses played and recorded via Built-in Line input causes the same clicking to occur during interrupted played back.
Somehow. the noise that occurs with finger release from the fretboard is related to the problem with the audio clicking when stopped during playback. Meaning that the audio file is corrupt in some way.
I followed your suggestion of unchecking both play tickboxes in the Sound Effects tab of the Sound preference. The problem still exits.
So in summary, at this time, I cannot record audio into my Mac without some sort of clicking problem when stopping playback. Audio that I record then causes some strange lift off noise or click when played as a sampler instrument. The base problem is that something goes wrong when audio is recorded into my Mac.

Ipod wheel clicks when Ipod is off? Is this right

The wheel of my video ipod clicks when the ipod is off.(I'm sure that it's off) I also think that my ipod battery runs down in about 4 hours. Can't be right. Is my wheel supposed to click when it's off? Is my ipod staying on all the time, but the screen is off? Has anyone else had this problem? I'm going to say that the ipod has been very unreliable in every aspect.

yeah i got the exact same problem, my clicker wheel seems to always be running and my ipod's battery only will last maybe 4 hours at the most, it seems like the ipod never shuts down even thought the sceen is blank. i also notice when turning it on, the little apple icon never comes up, it just lights up ready to go like its been running all night.

Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
    b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
     Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
     COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and
     after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears.
     Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
     Reinstall the 10.9.2 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Update (Combo).
4. Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
Reinstall the 10.9.2 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Update (Combo).

We have implemented the following configuration
Domain level Windows 2000. Two member servers with Windows Server 2008 R2, sharing the same DFS namespace with, at the moment, one folder target called Home.
Users complaining that the access to different MS Office files is very slow. Even creating a new MS Word document using right click context menu takes up to 4 minutes to open. Saving, for example, one singe Excel sheet takes also few minutes.
Tested with both, MS Office 2007 and MS Office 2010. Makes no difference. When using Office 2010 you can see the message like contacting:
\\DomainName\Root\Home\UserName. Other files like TXT, JPG or PDF are not affected.
What makes the thing really weird is the fact, that the behavior described above can absolutely change after client machine being rebooted, suddenly everything becomes very fast and this condition can revert back again just after the next
reboot.
Considerations until now:
1. This has nothing to do with the file size. Even tiny files are affected.
2. AD Sites are configured correctly and the client workstations see themselves in the correct sites.
3. This is not an Office issue. If I map my folder target not as DFS, but directly as shared network drive
\\ServerName\Root\Home\UserName , everything functions as expected
What makes me suspicious: when using f.e. TCPView to monitor connections, I can see, that each time I make any operation on an office file, there will be a connection established to one of the domain controllers, sometimes to remote ones,
located in other countries. But on the other side, even if the connection is established to the nearest DC, operations are still very very slow!
Just forget to say. All clients are Windows 7

sorry for the delayed reply. The problem has been solved now and since September 19<sup>th</sup>. everything is functioning as expected.
What was done:
Deleted replication targets excepting the initial ones
Carefully recreated folder targets
Deleted and recreated replication groups
Disabled SNP features on both namespace servers
Created EnableTCPA registry entry
Checked that the following Updates are installed

And today it won't even read my camera's sd card, and I try with 2 different ones. If I restart the computer, leaving the memory card in, then it reads it; but if I pull it out and push it back in it doesn't see it. Whath am I doing wrong, if anything?

Where/how are you trying to change the name? If it is in Finder (after you've downloaded the pics to your desktop), highlight the pic icon and press Return. the name field will change and you can type in your new name. Hit Return again. That should make it "stick". If you're trying to do it elsewhere, please post the steps that you've tried.
As for your card: do you eject it properly? Either drag icon to trash or hit the eject symbol in the sidebar?

My brand new 5S screen clicks when I press it...

I bought my new 5S 16GB 4 days ago from an Apple Store in Vancouver, Canada, and today the screen started to click when i press it. It's very noisy and very flexibile when i press the screen. Does any one has this problem? What should I do, I'm away from Canada for a couple of months and i'm not sure there are any Apple Stores in East Europe... I can't belive i bought a 800 $ phone that does this, it feels so cheap.

I've got a feeling that's the way it is. I know that if I turn the volume down all the way, I can still hear the music very softly -- which is great for listening when I have a migraine!
