Rendered video does not "go green" in the space above clips, is this video rendered?

When rendering a video the bar above the video clips that goes from yellow to green does not change. I have a few spaces that are green which tells me it has rendered but the majority does not have any color registered. How can I tell if this has been rendered?

Just in case background....
For Premiere Elements 13/13.1 on Windows 7 64 bit, the Timeline Rendering process has 3 indicators, orange, green, and no colored line.
Content with orange line over it, needs Timeline rendering to get the best possible preview in the Edit area monitor playback.
Green, does not need Timeline rendering to get the best possible preview in the Edit area monitor playback, and Timeline rendering is not possible.
No colored line, does not need Timeline rendering to get the best possible preview - you imported the file into the project with the correct project settings. No Timeline Render is possible. The no line color will change to orange once you edit the file (you will not see no colored line again) just green after the Timeline render.
Although Timeline rendering is a preview matter and does not influence the end product, it is still an excellent window of opportunity to catch a problem sooner than later, especially for titles, transitions, effects, and non native formats. But, you do not need to do it in order to continue to Publish+Share for the export.
Let us do this so in an attempt to get you Timeline rendered content (best possible preview) to view in the Edit area monitor....
1. Open a new project and import the same 38 clips from the hard drive into Premiere Elements Expert workspace. Do you have the same Timeline Rendering issues that you had in the original project?
2. Can you post a screenshot of your Timeline, displaying the Timeline right after you have attempted a Timeline Render. This would show
Only 5 of the 38 clips show green. The 5 green are not sequential.
3. Also, go to Edit Menu/Preferences/Scratch Disks, and tell us what you find for Video Previews relating to save location and available free space at that location. Then go to the actual location for the video previews and tell us the folder size (Adobe Premiere Elements Preview Files Folder).
There is always moving on in the project and ignoring the Timeline Render situation, but we should explore an explanation for the what is and leave ignoring as a last resort.

I purchased these music videos from i-tunes, in the past I just had to go into "Music" on the I-pad and select "music videos" then the one I wanted to play and it would just start playing with video. I've tried upgrading from FCP 10.0.1 to the newest version and I cannot do it. It does not pop up on the App Store. Is this an upgrade or do I have to buy it again?

Video does not play in Viewer or Canvas

Hi, I am new to Final Cut Pro. I just imported a couple of .mov files into FCP and have added them to a sequence. When I try to play the files on the Canvas, the video does not play (just shows the first frame). Same goes for Viewer window for an individual file. Help!

You can't really use H264 directly in Final Cut Pro without a lot of hassle.
Your audio has the wrong sampling rate. Digital audio for video is always 48000 kHz.
Use QuickTime Player or Compressor to export a copy of your files using the ProRes codec with the correct audio settings. Bring those into FCP.

Key value does not currently exist in the primary key table error

Im testing out a form and creating a new insert once all the fields are filled in it wont allow me to move on and comes up with this error message;

Is this becuase the form contains foriegn keys which reference different tables which fields are not dispalyed on this form?
If so how to I link the other forms together so that when i create a new record in this form it will automaticaly create the primary key entry in the other form to allow the insert of the referenced foreign key in this form?

It seems that it has the table in which you'r inserting is a foreign key table.
Take the emp& dept table example in the schema scott/tiger.
Say we have deptno 10, 20, 30, 40 in the dept table.
We make a form for emp table and insert into this form.
Now, we'r bound to insert deptno 10, 20, 30, 40 into this emp form. This form will not allow us to insert deptno 50 as it doesn't exist in the primary key column in dept table.
Obviously if a department doesn't exist in the company, it doesn't make sense to assign the employees to that department.
So for this purpose, we need to add a department in the dept table then we can insert values in the emp table for that department.
For this purpose, I suggest to make a button on the mp form and invoke the dept form and add a new department to it and then insert into emp table.
The same scenario can be applied in your case.

Hi Nishj,
My suggestion is in OPK4, second tab 'Individual entry general', in shift proposal select current shift, so that the system will automatically take the shift and no need of manually giving that. In this case i think you will not face the error.
Have you have already decided to give the shift manually, please check and revert back.
As per my knowledge in operation wise confirmation shift will not be displayed in standard SAP. Please let me know if you are using any exit.

I've been using Premiere Elements 9 for a couple of years now, and a few months ago I began having problems importing AVI files created from a BlackMagic Intensity Pro capture card. (These issues were not previously occurring, and since they surfaced, I have exhausted the various settings for the BlackMagic card, used various software such as BlackMagic's own Media Express as well as the freeware VirtualDub, and still have the following problems.)
In addition, these AVI files play just fine, in their entirety, using Windows Media Player and in Quicktime.
The problem (or possibly two, but I suspect they could be related) is that most of the AVI files I attempt to import will either (1) import all video and NO audio, or (2) import ONLY a short segment of audio and video, and the length that Elements imports varies. Usually only in the range of a minute or two. The rest of the file is not imported at all.
After much digging in forums, and testing various settings in trying to figure out the issue, I decided to back up all of my files and completely wipe all hard drives and start over with a fresh installation of Windows and Premiere Elements 9. I haven't installed much else yet, as I wanted to first find out if the reinstallation improved things with Elements.
For the first project I created in Elements after the reinstallation, Elements successfully imported an entire AVI that was nearly 2 hours long, audio and video. This was a file that previously would not import properly into Elements. This suggested that my earlier installation of Elements must have been corrupted somehow. At this point I was very hopeful that all was well.
I proceeded to edit the video as I had wanted, saved the project, and exported it to an MPEG format file. I had originally wanted to export it as an MOV, but I hadn't yet installed Quicktime, so Elements couldn't do that just yet. The MPEG export was successful and plays fine.
However, I then installed Quicktime, and once it was finished, I restarted the PC and reloaded the same project. This time, Elements claimed the media was offline. I double-clicked on a segment of the video, and directed Elements to the raw file, but then an error message popped up: "The selected file cannot be linked because its type (video) does not match the original file's type (audio and video)." This was the same file I had JUST edited and of which I created an MPEG.
I tried creating a new project and the "Get Media" function to import the AVI again, but this time only the video imported with NO audio. (This would explain why the error message said what it did, but not why the audio wasn't imported.)
What in the world is going on with Elements??? I am baffled since the ONLY task I have done on this machine after a complete reinstallation of both Windows and Elements is edit one AVI. I find it very hard to believe that just installing Quicktime caused this.
Some info on my system:
System: Asus P6T w/ Intel i7 920 and 12 GB memory
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Video Software: Premiere Elements 9
Capture Card: BlackMagic Intensity Pro (PCI-e)
Capture Software: AVIs recorded with either BlackMagic Media Express or VirtualDub (only prior to the reinstallation, as neither of these programs are currently installed)
I'm getting to the point with Elements that I might need to just abandon it and find something else that is more reliable. Anybody have suggestions to help with this, so I won't have to migrate?

We think that we need to start off with definiting the properties of these .avi files that you are importing into Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 (assumed that you are working for the required 9.0.1 Update).
You say that the "avi" was created from a "BlackMagic Intensity Pro capture card". What are the properties of this .avi that you imported into Premiere Elements? Not all .avi are created equal. What is the video and audio compression, frame size, frame rate, interlaced or progressive, pixel aspect ratio, typical duration?
Based on the properties of the video what have you been setting as the project preset?

I'm not very knowledgable on this but subtitles are sometimes on a separate track from the main movie. Try opening the downloaded video in Quicktime Player and saving it - you may be asked if you want to "flatten movie". Choose to do this. The resulting movie will probably now work OK. Others may be able to supply more comprehensive instructions.

Hey guys... I need your help!! I started a project using Premiere Pro 2 and was 80% when I formatted my computer (all my project files were always saved to a external hard drive). Anyways instead of installing Premiere Pro 2, I installed Premiere Pro Cs3. Problem is whenever I try starting up my project it asks me to link every file used. When I do this it says "The selected file cannot be linked because its type (video) does not match the original file's type (audio and video)." I took my external harddrive to friend's house who has Premiere Pro 2 and it says the same thing. Why did this happen? Is there anyway around it... Any help would be greatly appreciated, I put over 20 hours into editing this movie... I don't want it all to go to waste.

Video does not display when sending from Final Cut Pro to Motion

Suddenly, when sending an audio & video sequence to Motion, a new Motion file is created, and all my layers come in properly, but the video does not display.
The audio plays fine, and Motion clearly know that there are video tracks there, but it does not display them.
Additionally, when rendering the Motion file back in FCP, it turns in to black video.
I have previous sequences within the same project that were sent just fine, and are editable properly, but any new ones I try to create just come out black.
Help, please?

Do you have Motion mistakenly set to render out with an Alpha channel?
Double click your Motion clip in the Timeline. Go to Modify > Composite Mode in the menu bar and set the Alpha to "None/Ignore".

Exported Video Does Not Look Right

I am sure this is a basic setting I am overlooking, but a lot of this is new to me - any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
My goal is to create a high quality 640x480 movie for Computer/Web viewing only.
• I shot a short video using a Canon Vixia HV30 to mini DV tape using the SD standard - no problem. I guess that records at 720x480 non-square pixels at 29.97fps - is that right?
• I used log and capture inside of FCP v6.0.5 to capture the various clips I needed - no problem (I don't think). If I open each of those clips from the finder in Quicktime they look "pretty" good, but a bit of aliasing on the diagonals and somewhat blurry, but not sure why? Everything looks sharp on the smaller camera LCD screen? and looks pretty good inside of FCP on the Canvas? If I open one of these captures directly inside of Quicktime and do a get info, it says...

Normal Size: 640x480 pixels
Current Size: 640x480 pixels (Actual)
All these Quicktime movies appear slightly larger in height and width than the same clips when viewed in the FCP Canvas?
If I open the Sequence Settings in FCP it says...

Pixel Aspect Ratio NTSC - CCIR 601 /DV (720x480)
Field Dominance: None
Editing Timebase: 29.97
Everything looked pretty good inside FCP so I Exported a QT Movie using "Current Settings". Then opened the resulting self-contained movie in QT and it looks pretty bad. When I get info in QT on the rendered final movie it reads...

FPS: 29.97
Normal Size: 720x480 pixels
Current Size: 640x480 pixels (Actual)
So... the FPS and the Normal Size are not the same as the captured original clips.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Is this just the wrong Sequence Settings, Export Settings or do I have to start over an re-capture all my footage some other way?
PS - I am assuming that the DV Camcorder is recording interlaced (60 fields) rather than progressive - is that right. Do I need to de-interlace the video somehow?

I'm far from being an expert, but since no one has replied to you yet, and because I've been helped out here plenty of times, I'll post something and who knows -- it may be the answer.
Your post was really long but from what I can gather, you're wondering why your exported video does not look good when you open it in QuickTime. Try this: Open the video in QT, hit command-J, then click on Video Track, then at the bottom right (under Visual Settings) you'll see High Quality, Single Field, and Deinterlace. Click around on those to see if that improves what you see.
